Painting reviews in Lincoln, Nebraska

Our fireplace inspection and cleaning were expertly completed by HOLZ Painting Decor & Chimney Cleaning LLC. I was worried about safety and potential mold growth because we hadn't used our fireplace in years. The expert addressed all of my inquiries and thoroughly examined the cost of the chimney inspection. They found little chimney repair problems throughout the assessment and made specific recommendations. They also looked for mold in the adjacent regions, which gave me great comfort. The entire procedure was efficient and well-planned.

HOLZ Painting Decor & Chimney Cleaning LLC expertise and meticulousness surpassed my expectations. The expert thoroughly cleaned and inspected the fireplace and gave a comprehensive explanation of the cost of the chimney inspection. They promptly repaired the chimney after spotting early indications of damage. An extra benefit was the mold check, which made sure there were no unreported issues. Their advice on preventing and eliminating mold was really beneficial. Everything went well and without incident. I'm rather pleased with the outcome.

Jason did an excellent job of painting my house at a price that was very affordable. I will go to him again when needed

These guys did a great job! I had a medium sized house to paint. They showed up when they said they would and it was done quickly. They did a really through job. Jason knows paint and uses good products.

AHI not only painted our entire house last winter, but installed new light fixtures and repaired trim. They are honest, kind and worked very hard to get the job done in our limited time frame. I will definitely apply to them again for help!

Jason renovated our entire house, inside and out. We are very happy with everything he has done, and highly recommend him to others. He provides quality work at affordable prices, and strives at all times to please the homeowner.

Jason also renovated my father's house with the same outstanding results.

Jason remodeled our master bedroom and closet. This included removing and replacing the entire subfloor, installing new vinyl plank flooring, re-trimming all windows and doors, and painting the entire room and closet.
He went above and beyond what was asked of him and had the entire project finished in only 7 days from when he started.
I highly recommend.

Jason did basement flooring and exterior house paint for me and has done a phenomenal job. Engineered wood floor planks were not easy to work with but he was able to complete the job in three days and with great quality. Jason and his wife not only did a great job painting the exterior but also carried out necessary repairs. Our house look brand new. Affordable Home Improvement truly holds its name for affordability. I doubt anyone can beat their pricing.

I had a great experience with this company when dealing with mold in our chimney. Sean arrived on time and performed a detailed inspection. He started the mold cleaning process and worked efficiently throughout the visit. His mold removal work was thorough and handled with care. The mold remediation services ensured that the problem was fully resolved. I appreciated the clear communication and respectful approach. The chimney now looks much cleaner and the smell is gone. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I would use their services again.

This company handled our mold problem with professionalism and care. Benjamin inspected the chimney and started mold cleaning immediately. He carefully performed mold removal, ensuring spores wouldn’t spread in our home. Their advanced mold remediation services helped prevent further growth and addressed hidden moisture issues. Benjamin was courteous, knowledgeable, and explained every step in a clear way. The service was efficient, affordable, and left our home feeling safe again. I appreciated how thorough this company was and how much they cared about the quality of work. I would not hesitate to use them again.

During our service visit, This company performed dryer vent cleaning and chimney repair. During the visit, Joshua gave a competent explanation of the results of the chimney inspection and the mold removal services.

I had an appointment for a competitive estimate. Unfortunately my first appointment. ran over, Bogle Painting arrived while the first estimate was finishing up and immediately drove away. I had not realized Bogle Painting had not shown up and called to find out when he would be arriving. He informed me that I did not need his services because I was receiving other estimates and he was not interested in my business. Clearly Bogle Painting does not need new customers and is so unsure of their pricing that they are afraid of being compared to others.

In my 40 years as a homeowner, the work done by Bogle Painting was the worst home repair/construction service I've received. As you can see from the photos, wall imperfections were not repaired before painting. The photos represent the finished work. We selected paint from Sherwin Williams, but Bogle Painting used a paint from another company costing about one-third the price. Moreover, the paint showed a purchase date a year prior to our paint job. When owner Terry Bogle returned to do touch-ups after other room construction was completed, he came with a tiny roller, no paint, no drop cloth, and a bad attitude. When I tried to speak with him about spots missed or needing touch-up, he walked out of the room. As he worked, he dragged and bounced his ladder over our new hardwood floor. He again missed several spots and many of his touch-ups were later evident. I had to do much re-painting as a result.

Horrible experience!!! My cabinets turned out a completely different color from my sample cabinet door. My cabinet doors are a completely different color from my drawers. All he could say to me was “IDk”. My cabinets are extremely orange. When trying to call him to talk things over, he consistently ignored my calls and would only text that he didn’t know why it happened. He offered no solutions and then held my cabinet doors hostage until I paid full price. It is so awful to save money for a big remodel, for it to look terrible. Stay clear of this business!

Overall, Bolge Painting Decor & Chimney Cleaning LLC provides top-notch service. First, they inspected the chimney and repaired small fractures in the stonework. Without any interruption, attic insulation was placed in a matter of hours. Cleaning the dryer vent and air ducts was long needed, and they did it flawlessly. A basement insect problem was resolved by a pest control service. Fixing a few lifted shingles and inspecting the underlayment were part of the roofing job. The servicing for the gas fireplace was quick; they cleaned everything and changed the igniter. The contractor made sure nothing was overlooked by supervising every work. Without a doubt, I'll use them once more for routine maintenance. Excellent service!
