I really enjoyed working with Ken and Jackie to completely redo my landscaping in the front and back of my house. While speaking with them, you could tell they’ve done this for a while and had many great ideas. The best part for me was their flexibility. The original project was a little over our budget, but they worked with me to figure out a solution to bring the cost down that consisted of me doing some of the prep work. They also were flexible with their dates when I had a sudden health issue come up. We postponed the whole project a few months without any issues. The final product turned out great! I could have never done it without their help and design expertise.

01MAY2025: Thank you to Luxury Landscape for listening to our concerns, stopping by to review the work and fix the issues. The finished product is now worthy of 5 stars. The rocks were raked and the weed barrier was correctly installed and the yard now looks professionally finished. The tree replacement is healthy. The work meets our expectations and we are thankful that everything is now done right.

Oct2024:
Our experience is vastly different than other customers. It feels like we were an aggravating extra job. I realize our job was relatively small but I expected the same level of service as with a larger one. Today I discovered that the crew put new weed barrier and rock over existing rock. At the time of project completion i wondered why I had to pay for more rock as there should have been plenty. Now I have my answer. Instead of raking back the existing rock to reuse, they piled everything on top so now I have nightmare layers to deal with and it will cost me even more labor costs to fix this issue. They also took out my living tree when I expressly stated to keep it. Yes, monetarily they made things right but in a very poor way. They planted a straggly Charlie Brown tree at the hottest part of the summer in their haste to be done with our job. Jackie keeps trying to convince me that this tree is fine but several other experts have told me it is dead on arrival. I've been watering a dead tree all summer. I have also had to dig out the rest of the roots on the sweet Henry's as they only did a partial removal. If I wanted to do this much manual labor I would not have paid someone to do the removal in the first place. Overall, I am not impressed with the quality. I should take some blame in this as I should have tripled checked exactly what their team was going to do but I have never had to do that with other companies so it did not cross my mind. What I said to do and what was done are two very different things.

I cannot recommend Jackie, Ken, and the rest of the Luxury Landscape crew enough. My wife and I worked with a couple other landscapers in town that didn't have the level of service and quality that we expected. We finally found Luxury Landscape and couldn't have been happier throughout the whole process. We had them do a SIGNIFICANT amount of work to our property, including hardscapes and plantings. Everything was designed beautifully and the quality of the work was excellent. But I think the biggest advantage to them is their level of communication, keeping us updated throughout the process and even checking in after the work was done. Just an amazing business and we will absolutely use them again in the future when needed. Thank you guys!!

Luxury Landscapes is the best! This was our first time working with Ken and Jackie and they are fabulous. My husband and I had never done any landscaping before and they answered all of our questions. They are very responsive and go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied. We recently contracted with Luxury Landscape to re-landscape our yard. The Ken, Jackie, and their crew was great. The new landscaping incorporated some existing plants and other plants were replaced with ones that were more durable in Nebraska's hot summer weather. The crew worked efficiently, cleaned up after they were finished, and we are very pleased with the results. 5 Stars!

My entire experience with Luxury Landscapes, from start to finish, was excellent! The entire team was professional, helpful in making suggestions and recommendations as well as performing the work with incredible attention to detail. We have used Luxury Landscape LLC for years and have gotten to become friends with Jackie, Ken, Allen & some of the other people that make up this great local Lincoln company. They handle projects both large and small. What sets them apart is their attention to detail even in the small things. Ken, Jackie and their crew are the best. I first saw Luxury Landscape at one of the home shows; they had the most innovative and creative display of all the landscapers there. Last summer they did a checkerboard-designed yard project with colorful flowers, shrubs, and my birdfeeders-- I never get tired of looking at it -- it's fun and whimsical, just what I asked for and wanted. This spring, they're completely redoing my front yard with another creative project. Jackie and Ken have such good ideas, so creative and so very easy to work with; they listen, they don't make you feel stupid when you throw out a terrible suggestion! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a unique and creative update to their yard.

DYNAMIC DUO!! Ken and Jackie are some of the nicest people to work with. Their eye for design and aesthetic is second to none. I have referred numerous customers to them and have had them at my own house for assistance. I am a fence contractor and any time I have a customer ask about design, flow, plants, ANYTHING landscaping, I send them to Ken and Jackie. Cannot say enough nice things. 10/10 recommend!!!

Jacki and Ken were very patient with me as they worked my project around my schedule. I had a question on a Sunday. I used the chat service on their website and they responded almost immediately. Allan, their office manager, was also very courteous and patient as we worked to schedule my project.Their crew was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. This company is the best! Ken, Jackie, Allan and the crew really came through for us replacing a worn-out wood retaining wall in our backyard and the old edging and rock.

We now have a beautiful decorative block wall with new edging, rock and sod. It is all we hoped it would be.

Ken and Jackie were great to work with. They came up with a design and implemented it. Communication was excellent they quickly answered any questions we had about the process. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to have landscaping done.

Our project wasn't a big one, but a big investment for us. From the beginning when we met Jackie at the Lawn and Garden Show, through to the follow-up appointment and bid, they were such professionals guiding us through our vision, and making it even better than we had hoped. Jackie, Ken and the Crew were amazing to work with and we not only recommend them, but look forward to calling them when we're ready to do our back yard project. Luxury Landscapes has phenomenal customer service - from the initial visit to the post project check in and guide for watering and caring for your new plants. We love our new landscape! So this was a great experience. Some things went a little slower than would have liked “weather fault” but I bring this up because Jackie stayed on top of it with great communication. Project looks amazing! Including Before/After

I had a disappointing experience with Luxury Landscape. While they did a good job with my parents retaining wall, the grass seeding with plastic netting was a disaster.

Despite our request to plant the grass in the spring, they did it in the heat of June which resulted in a very poor growth that compounded when my dad was battling cancer and receiving treatment. Now, as their daughter, I see it is important to step in and communicate with this business. Planting grass by seed or sod in June or July requires some extra care to ensure that the seedlings have enough moisture for healthy growth, something that my parents could not feasibly do.

Moreover, the plastic netting (the biggest issue) used for the grass seeding is everywhere and causing us a lot of trouble. Last year, when my parents called they said they would take it out in a few weeks, and did not. Had they removed the net, this issue would have been resolved because we understand the seeding failed and my parents are partially to blame in concern with the success of the grass, but that does not excuse this business leaving behind netting. My parents unfortunately paid the final deposit before they removed the netting, and luxury landscape never came back.

Come this spring, we are still removing it and it's a real hassle. My mother has mixed osteo and rheumatoid pattern arthritis on her hand, so when she is removing the netting, she has to take medicine to help with the pain.

I emailed this business on April 9th. This business offered no solutions other than mail us a small reimbursement to my parents for removing it. To make matters worse, the company has been unresponsive since the 11th to our requests for a follow-up and reseed with a grass I would provide. I followed up again on the 14th- no response.

Like I said above: this is our personal experience, and you can see that others have had great experiences. Which is great! I really wish I could say the same for us. The netting that they left behind is the dealbreaker.

I would like to advise others to be firm about when and how they want the planting to be done, and have everything in writing. Don't leave it to the professionals, be informed when is the best time to seed and consider the pros and cons to netting.

In short, the experience with Luxury Landscape was disappointing, and while they did great on the retaining I wouldn't recommend them for any grass seeding or landscaping work.

My project was a pretty large one. My home is a new build so there was no landscaping. I met with Ken and Jackie in November. We walked the property and I asked for their input. I had a few things that I wanted like front stone steps and a pergola. Other than that, I looked to them for advice. They got me detailed plans along with the quote and I thought everything looked great. Their crew came in during Winter and started the project. They completed the plants and pergola last week. I was pleased with how clean and professional their entire team was. My house has beautiful curb appeal and now my back porch will be usable since I have this multi tier pergola. Thank you to Ken, Jackie, Allan, and the entire install team. I would recommend them to anyone.

Wow is all I can say. At first I thought I knew what I wanted, then changed my mind, after all they are the professionals and I put my trust in them. Gave them a budget. Told them I wanted to feel like I was sitting in my garden instead of looking at it, wanted color and low maintenance. I left town and came back to a fairyland oasis! They hit all my targets and then some! I landed from vacation, drove to my house and didn't even unload my car.. instead I went straight to the garden and enjoyed it.. it is that pretty!
