Rene and his crew did an amazing job! I needed a lot of work done including burying downspouts, grating/sloping, removal of an old concrete patio and a new concrete patio installed. Great communication thru the entire process and was right on target with the estimate given. They also completed the work in just 3 days. Very professional and will for sure be using again for any future needs. Highly recommend!

Wanted to give a shout out to Rene! Our neighbor is having some work done by his crew and he was gracious enough to dump a load of dirt on our driveway for our boys to build a bike jump. From what I've seen of his work I will definitely give him a call if we ever need work done in our yard or to the driveway!

Renee and his crew removed/replaced old concrete that had started putting pressure on our privacy fence. This job involved replacing several fence posts, reattaching fence panels and hauling away a load of river rock from the original landscaping. They also removed 2 large fir trees that were next to our home and had outlived their usefulness. The tree removal was an add on job. Renee was a great communicator, performed the job sooner that I anticipated (which was great), cleaned up after the job, and honored his estimate. I recommend Renee and his business, Leaf Construction.

Leaf Construction just completed replacing our retaining wall. The wall came out looking great and there were no issues during the entire process.

The final price matched the estimate given, the work was done on schedule, there was great communication during the work and best of all to me, each day, when the work was wrapped up, the company cleaned up the work area.

They take pride in their work and they care about their customers. If I need more work that can be done by Leaf Construction, I will call them immediately. If they can do work you are needing done, you should call them immediately.

The crew from Leaf Construction built a beautiful retaining wall in my backyard for my children’s play set. My family will enjoy this for many years to come!

Rene and his crew did an outstanding job on the addition of a driveway to our existing driveway and retaining wall/brick stairs rebuild. Rene had our project scheduled within days of our initial meeting and completed our project in 2 days. He and his staff were friendly and courteous and kept us informed of any potential issues. Rene and his staff did a fabulous job of transforming the exterior of our house. They started the job on time and completed the job in a timely manner. Rene kept us advised daily of the progress. He made suggestions and options on the materials used. We would highly recommend Leaf Construction.

Leaf did an amazing job! We called them because water was wrecking our foundation over time (we live on a hill and all the rain water would run against our foundation). Rene had great ideas on how to fix the grading and water drainage issues in our yard. He was very knowledgeable and affordable. Other grading companies wouldn’t even come out to bid our yard because we weren’t sure if they’d be able to get a skid skier in the backyard. However, Leaf was inventive and made a dirt hill to get onto our property (we have retaining walls on nearly every side).

Overall, we are super impressed with the work they’ve done. They tore out the concrete around the house and regraded it, even sloping the newly poured concrete away from the foundation and towards the French drain they installed. We also added on a couple extra projects and they still managed to stay within our budget. The team was very respectful of my family as well. I would definitely recommend giving them a call for any outdoor project, especially if there’s a water drainage issue and you don’t know how to fix the problem.

Mr. Santacruz was a joy to do business with. He was knowledgable and professional. He stayed in contact and even started early because he knew we were eager. The job was to fill in a swimming pool gone bad (don't get me started) and level the grade in the back yard. He estimated two days, was done in a day, and the yard is smooth and slanted the right way. I will definitely call him when we take care of a patio in need of some TLC!

We needed a section of our backyard to be graded and leveled. Rene was an excellent person to work with. From the moment he showed up to look at the area to getting the job completed, he was very professional. There were a few days that it was tough weather-wise, but Rene kept in contact with me throughout the whole process to inform the next best available day to do the work.

He even still managed to come out and complete the work on the same day he completely lost a tire on one of his trailers. That is outstanding! Most people would have called it a day, not Rene, he showed up 2 hrs. later and completed the job (25' x 25') within 2 hrs. He made sure to not hit the fence and was a pro at maneuvering the skid loader even though there was only 2 in of clearance on either side.

Rene and his crew were very professional and cleaned up the dirt that was left behind.

I highly recommend Rene and Leaf Construction. We are looking forward to working with them again this fall when we have a cement slab poured in the leveled area. Rene does great work and the pricing is highly competitive!!!

We had Leaf Construction out to fix our yard this week. We had sod laid the day before the tornado hit Elkhorn and it took a lot of the sod with it. Our yard had some major erosion issues along with overgrown weeds and holes from picking up debris off the wet yard.

Rene and his team were able to remove the glass, weeds, damaged sod and other items from the yard. They were then able to backfill and regrade the lot and everything looks amazing. We highly recommend Leaf Construction and we can’t say enough good things about the work they did!

Rene redid my front porch. He was very friendly and professional. He showed up on the days that he said he would. He worked quickly and kept me updated on the progress. I will definitely work with Rene again!

Rene and his crew were great to work with! I saw their sign in a few yards in my neighborhood and gave them a call to extend my driveway. Rene came out the next day and gave me an estimate. Three weeks later his crew did the project and they did a great job. They were clean, polite and very professional. I appreciate their communication as well. Rene is a great person to work with. He was able to build up & level the grade at the side of the house to perfection. The retaining wall is also a masterpiece. What I loved the most was their flexibility in adjusting things until it is perfectly done, and exactly the way you want things to look. I recommend this company highly and I would go back to him if I need any more work done on the lot.

Coming from the world of construction management, property manager, and home renovator I've worked with a lot of contractors. I've learned to do my research, read reviews and meet in person to get a feel for them and their approach. When looking for a landscape contractor to solve a water drainage problem and replace a deteriorated retaining wall, I ran across Leaf Construction and set up a meeting the same day. Rene was punctual, listened and gave an estimate quickly. He did an amazing job from start to finish. I seldom write reviews, but I cannot recommend Leaf Construction highly enough! I was very impressed and will call Rene again next time I need help!

I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had with the Leaf, Rene the owner and his cousin. From start to finish, their communication was clear, timely, and professional. Their pricing was more than fair, and they went above and beyond to accommodate all of my requests. What really impressed me was the care they took with my property and picking everything up. On top of that, the entire crew was friendly and respectful. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of excavation services!

If I could give 10 stars, I would, I was that impressed with Rene, his crew and the excellent job they did! Not only were they extremely hard workers, but they were courteous and reliable. The work they did was outstanding and timely but, and this may sound trivial to some, I was completely taken aback on how very neat and tidy they would leave the jobsite every night. You could tell they took pride in their work and took care of their belongings and mine! All-in-all an A1 experience and pricing was reasonable and transparent; never any anxiety or uncertainty, no What’s-this-charge-for questioning. I would definitely recommend Leaf Construction and actually have sent their information on to others in case they find themselves in need of such services. Thank you for one heck of a job well done!

Rene did a great job on our new and larger driveway.. Very professional.. Great communication and competitive pricing. I was so happy with his work I recommended him to my sister and she was extremely satisfied also. We will be using him again this fall for our back patio.
