We have had our Generic generator for about six years and it has saved us thousands of dollars protecting our basement from reoccurring water damage. We have also had it serviced yearly by Generators for Sale. Brian Potter, one of their master mechanics has serviced it numerous times. He is a first class gentleman, on time, courteous, and meticulous, knowing the importance of keeping our generator in top condition. From installation to service, this is a 5-star company! When I called to get an estimate, the company got back to me right away and we set an appointment. I ended up having to cancel it, but Gene reached out to follow up and we were able to find a time that worked. A short time before the appointment, the company sent me an email with a picture of Gene so I could recognize him, as well as a link to see how far away he was. I thought that was a nice touch.

Gene came out and walked me through everything I needed to do, helped plan out the best location for installation, and answered every question I could think of.

We live on a farm and one of our neighbors has a whole house generator system. With power outages becoming more frequent, we asked our neighbors if they were happy with their whole house generator. They responded that they were very happy, and even purchased another one for each of their daughters’ homes. After researching online, my husband contacted Generators for Sale to discuss our needs and get an estimate. That same day, they called back to make an appointment that worked with our schedule. Gene, from Generators for Sale, was great to work with. He was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and gave us several options for placement of a whole house Generac generator. Once we decided which option worked best for us, he gave us a detailed estimate for the whole house generator system. He explained what to expect before, during and after the installation process. Generators for Sale provided an assessment and installation of a Generac Generator in a timely manner. They were professional and listened to my concerns and questions. We had a great experience with Gene and his team from Generators for Sale when purchasing our whole home generator. Gene was very thorough and kept us informed every step of the way. He was personable, knowledgeable about the product, and worked around our schedule to answer questions and keep us informed. Something I especially appreciated was the text I received on install day prior to the techs arrival. This text was complete with name, photo, arrival time, and the real time location of the technician as he was driving. The first thing on the agenda was a walk through together to make sure we were on the same page before they began working. All of the install team members were polite and kept me informed. They made sure things like pilot lights were lit and everything was in order before one last walk through at the end of the install. An overall fantastic experience.

Adam was good in the initial meeting at solving all the issues with installation in a professional and friendly manner. He was so good that I cancelled my other two estimators and went with him.

Very thorough, pleasant individual. Even wiped off the inside of the generator after changing oil, filter, checking valves etc. Checked all voltages.

Marvin stopped by and performed preventive maintenance on our Generac whole home generator, which was installed last summer here in Ankeny IA. Marvin is such a nice guy to deal with and so meticulous in his work. He made sure everything was completely serviced and thoroughly cleaned before he departed. He kept me informed every step of the way including a simulated power failure transfer test at the end. Generators for Sale is lucky to have such a great service technician. From a customer standpoint he 'knocked it out of the park'!

Annual maintenance. Discovered a minor factory error and ordered the replacement part so will have it fixed and up to peak efficiency in a couple weeks.
