Despite all the positive reviews, we unfortunately have not had a good experience with CK Electric. We are remodeling our kitchen. Our simple job turned into a larger job, and while they have been flexible with scheduling additional time to accommodate that, they have struggled to communicate with us and with each other.

The first day they were scheduled, it was two guys, and they only had an hour, so they did what they could. The second time they came out, it was one guy, and he had no idea someone from the company had already started work. He had to spend time calling others to find out what was done, what the plan was, and how he should proceed. He wired everything and got it ready for us to drywall. We scheduled a third appointment for the finish work to be completed today at 8 a.m. It is now 8:59 a.m. and we have not received an email, call, text — no indication that the appointment has been cancelled or rescheduled, and no one has shown up. I tried to call the office and it appears to be closed. Schools are closed today because it is supposed to snow later, but not a single flake has fallen yet. Even if the office is closed due to the weather, the company has a responsibility to notify their customers that appointments have been cancelled for the day, and that did not happen.

Update: Justin, the office manager, emailed me after I left a voicemail and sent an email and confirmed they are indeed closed today. We received a follow-up phone call to reschedule shortly thereafter. I appreciate needing to close for inclement weather, but customers should be notified before missed appointments, not after. We also had countertop measurements and plumbing appointments scheduled this morning, and both services arrived on time and completed their work without an issue. It was just starting to snow when the plumber left around 11 a.m.

I sought out three bids for some residential electrical work. CK Electric were outstanding from setting up the initial visit to the final job walk-through. Communication was top-notch. I wish every company I dealt with was as good. The crew was on-time and did not leave a mess. To top it off CK was the provided the lowest bid. I would highly recommend CK Electric. They are now in my contacts as my go-to Electrician.

Dereck and his Team did a fantastic job. He came out initially to do a quick assessment and got me on the schedule right away. Did a wonderful job installing my light fixtures and creating wall electrical spots for my dinning area lighting. Very respectful, communicated well, and a great overall experience. I will be definitely be using CK Electric in the future!

Last week I called Chad (CK Electric) to schedule an appointment to change a three-way switch to a timer, and today David came. He did an outstanding job. He arrived earlier than expected, demonstrating professionalism and efficiency throughout the entire process. Remarkably, he completed the entire job within 30 minutes, giving me peace of mind with my outside lighting.

David was also incredibly helpful in recommending a better switch than the one I had purchased from a local hardware store. The price difference was minimal, but the new switch's brand and functionality were far superior. I was grateful that he had a better switch available in his truck.

Had Dave stop by to price what I thought was a code violation. Turns out it is not. Dave explained the situation to me and then stayed around to give advise on another project I an considering. When I asked for the bill he said no charge. With another company this could have gone a totally different direction. I'm a Dave fan now!

I've had CK Electric out twice so far and found them very professional and knowledgeable. Dan and Adam did both our electric car charger job and swapped out the entry chandelier job with no problem.

David and Chad were very professional in their panel installation. David explained everything and took the time to answer all our questions The price was reasonable and we will be using them again for any electrical repairs in the future.

Dave came out to for an install but it didn't end up working with our box setup. He was very helpful and offered good advice on other steps we can take in our house.

Justin and Doug offered to come a loot sooner than expected and we willingly agreed! They were very efficient with their work, were knowledgeable on the reasoning for why our house was wired the way that it was, had a sense of humor during our conversations on-site, and you could tell that they both get along well with each other. We are definitely interested in being a return customer for our future electrical projects!

Two projects were completed. First project was with Dave.
Dave was great to work with! CK Electric installed a new 150 amp box for my father in-law and Dave did an excellent job. Completed as planned with high quality. Highly recommend.

Second project with CK was a whole house generator installation also for my in-laws. Thank you to Chad, Dave, and Krystal for the excellent and timely work. Excellent to work with! High quality work! and excellent pricing!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

CK Electric is incredibly accommodating – I had to reschedule twice, once due to my schedule conflicts and another because of a Nebraska winter storm. Justin and Chad were both not only friendly but also highly professional. Their communication system is top-notch; as soon as I schedule or reschedule, I receive a prompt text and email confirmation. It's a remarkably efficient system!

Today, David and Dan, came to address my sellers’ electrical issues. They helped address issues found during the house pre-inspection. They were both friendly, courteous, and professional. They completed the entire job in just a few hours. Before starting, they patiently walked me through their process, explaining the pros and cons of the concerns. This educated my seller, enabling him to an informed decision on the best approach to fix the problem. I highly recommend CK Electric – by the way, their fees are very reasonable!

A big thank you to Justin, Chad, and the crew who braved the cold to help fix electrical issues for my sellers. It was a pleasure working with your company, and I'll definitely turn to you for any future electrical concerns.

I trust CK Electric for the electrical work at my home. They have done two projects for us both with extremely high work quality and great customer service. Dave and Chad take the time to understand what matters most to the customer and provide excellent workmanship at a reasonable price.

Dave came out to do some work for us. He was on time and courteous. He made sure that he understood exactly what we needed done and did an excellent job. He made sure that what we needed done was up to code and did a good job cleaning up after himself.
CK Electric will be our go to electrician from now on!

Dave of CK Electric is a master electrician and a wonderful person!! He was early and notified me. I am always impressed when a service person is on time and even better is early!!
Dave discovered the problem in a very systematic and knowledgeable way. He was only here a short period of time, about 20 minutes, so did not charge us. Dave is an excellent electrician. He is professional, friendly and answered all of my questions. After he completed an evaluation he determined I did not need to get 2 additional exhaust fans that I had purchased. I hired Mike to replace a fixture and determine whether or not a new ceiling light could be added in a room that didn't have one. There was no easy path to fish the wires that would not require major drywall work. I didn't go forward with that part. He was very professional and stopped several times to do cleanup. Very accommodating. I recommend him highly.
