I have worked with Blaine over the last couple of years on projects ranging from quick bathroom updates, to full additions and renovations. He has great attention to detail, which helps each job run smoothly. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a general contractor!

We used Avid Homes when finishing our basement and I can’t recommend them enough. When we called Blaine to talk about our project, he contacted us right away and got an estimate to us within the week. It was a big project with excavation of new storage room in basement, master bedroom & bath addition, remodeling of old bedroom into closet and laundry and major basement remodel. Blaine was very good at keeping us apprised of the schedule and delays. He takes time to explain what is happening and answer any questions. He's very hands-on and is knowledgeable about almost all aspects of old home remodels as well as new construction. Always helpful, Blaine even helped us with an issue not related to our remodel, taking time to stop by, diagnose the problem and get us in contact with the right person to fix our issue. Blaine was very professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of our guest bathroom remodel. We gutted and enlarged the square footage on one wall which really transformed the feel not to mention the look! Blaine has the best subs from changing plumbing locations to a perfect tile installation on the floor and walls. We plan on more work from Avid Homes in our primary bathroom in the future!!

Blaine and his crew were easy to work with and did a beautiful job on our project. He was a great communicator, always followed through on what he said he would do, and kept the budget at its original number unless we added things to the project. Holy cow. First off, let me say that Blaine and his incredible team are probably the first contractors that I've worked with that had the most amazing and seamless communication and execution process. I've had lot of very well in[tending people work on my house, but communication and expectations have usually fallen off somewhere in the process. Not with Avid. I knew exactly what was happening clearly and step by step. Not only that, they even finished my project a couple days early! ( I own an Airbnb and it was very time sensitive). Blaine personally oversaw the project and made sure I was totally pleased with the final product. He even fixed little things that my old contractor had forgotten! Avid is my only choice now for contracting and home remodeling going forward. Thank you so much for restoring my faith that there are people out there who will go above and beyond. 1000% recommend!!!

We had Avid Homes remodel our master bath in 2025 and would HIGHLY recommend them to our friends and family! We chose Avid Homes after meeting Blaine, the owner, because he was approachable, gave feedback/ideas to our vision and sent us an honest estimate.
