Our lawn looks great and I appreciate that we have a reliable and high quality lawn service provider. We have found Heroes to be super affordable for regular fertilization services. Our service technician Steve is great and after applying our last treatment, he even went above and beyond and used the blower to make sure the sidewalks and driveway were clean. Would recommend.

Brett fertilized this week and he did an awesome and thorough job. We appreciate how great our lawn looks since we started using Heroes!

Heroes not only shows up weekly they are always looking for opportunity to show me new ways to make sure I have the best yard on the block. They recently upgraded my sprinkler system so I can control it on my phone & reads the weather to save water when I don’t need to water. They are very professional but are so kind to my family knowing all of our names & dogs names. I can’t recommend enough

Had our patio installed in June of 21. Had to have it fixed in June of 22, June of 23, last request for repair was September of 23. See attached pictures of what it looks like today. Not happy. Because I never got a response to our last request for repair I will end up having to do the work myself. That defeats the purpose of paying a professional. If I wanted these problems, I could have saved the money and let my husband install it. So disappointed.

Can’t speak to their landscaping or hardscaping services, but getting trees through them to plant in your yard is definitely not their specialty. I don’t know what it is about companies planting trees with a mulch volcano, but literally 30 seconds of research will show that it’s not a good practice for transplanted trees, in fact it’s harmful. Stick with a nursery, or even better, an arborist. When heroes arrived, they didn’t cut the root ball before planting the tree, they planted too deep as to not allow any root flares exposed for optimal growth and oxygen access, they told me 3x a week sprinkler irrigation should be fine and sufficient enough for watering. All of this is just so blatantly wrong and incorrect and it’s embarrassing that I could figure that out within a weekend of researching stuff myself. Unfortunately, I didn’t think I needed to research anything and put the trust of the process into a company who does it for a living, it wasn’t until after they were planted that I started to look things up for myself. I called Taylor the day after the transplant to kindly express my worry and asked if they by luck still had the dirt from my yard from when they dug the holes for the trees so I can then use that dirt to build a berm or dike around the tree so that I could deeply water these new trees that would need to get deep down into the rootball rather than shallow water penetration so the roots grow deep rather than upward towards the tree itself. Taylor then preceded to act like he’s never heard of such a thing and acted like that’s totally unnecessary but told me he could at least drop off some slow release water bags by my house for me, so I said yeah that’s fine. Never got those bags lol. Thanks Taylor. Ended up getting some dirt from Home Depot and building the berms. I look at neighbors trees all throughout the neighborhood and they ALL have the same mulch volcano and are already half dead. If you’re reading this review I encourage you to just Google a couple things: “root flares”, “mulch volcano”, “how to properly transplant a tree”. You’ll be amazed to find how many “professional” companies don’t know what they’re doing when it comes to transplanting trees. Like I said, I can’t speak to their hardscaping/landscaping services, but paying $1500 for two trees and transplanting seems a little outrageous when you figure out they don’t even know what they’re doing.

Eric moved up to management. Our system gave them a few fits. Eric dropped his schedule and personally came out and started our system up in 5 minutes! No charge!!! Cost only. You are the company I will stay with even when we move to an ADA friendly home. Plus you keep our friends who are buying our house. A veterans’ owned company.

Arielle is a wonderful, creative and excellent landscape designer. We had a couple issues but she re-designed certain areas that got a lot of water drainage from rain and it turned out even better! She chose very interesting plants/trees so we could have a nice variety of views all year round. Our project was very large and it was in mid July, the landscapers were amazing workers, working in that heat and were very skilled. They treated our yard carefully by using wooden boards in the grass with their bobcats and other machinery, which we appreciated a lot. (We’ve used previous companies on other projects, who did not do that and our grass is still suffering from them!) Great company, good value, great workers, and especially designers! Thank you for transforming our yard!

We are so happy we chose Heroes to do our backyard project this spring. They did a fabulous job! They did all of the hardscape work, including an upper and lower patio, retaining wall and fire pit. Surrounding landscaping and lighting was also done. Arielle was wonderful to work with and helped us create a design that we love! She was very patient with us, even when we asked for several changes throughout the design process. Ben did a great job keeping us informed and talking us through the steps of the hardscape project.
Ethan did an awesome job with the lighting and we love the look of it all at night!

I reached out to Taylor at the beginning of the year to help me with my irrigation system as well as fertilization and lawn care services. He was quick to respond and offer a meaningful program that is well suited to my needs.

His team member, Eric, recently helped get my irrigation system set up for the season. Over the weekend, I noticed a slight leak in the exterior plumbing. I reached out to Taylor to ask for some assistance to at least turn off the water so I could contact a plumber to help me get it fixed. Taylor immediately scheduled Eric to come out the same day who was able to fix it on the spot. I had no idea they could help fix the issue as it saved me from the effort of trying to find another service provider.

From estimate through the finished project, the HEROES team of Zoe, Oscar, and crew could not have been better. Even after running into underground wires that the utilities didn’t mark (nothing got cut, thank goodness for careful work!), they were able to bring our vision to life.

The crew was exceptionally clean, ensuring that the yard was tidy, and safe for our dogs to roam before leaving for the night.

Communications throughout the project was clear and realistic expectations were set, helping us to better prepare for the days ahead.

We can not wait to get the solo stove out there, and start enjoying nights by the fire again!

Kanger Lawns has always exceeded our expectations. We've utilized their services for the past few years now - with grass treatments & fertilizer, mowing, fall clean up, and other misc things. They've always been so professional and left our yard looking immaculate. Cody has even spent extra time with us, discussing options to landscape to prevent our 3 dogs from killing our grass and answering all kinds of questions. Highly recommended!
