Michale went out of his way to help me get my AC up and running. On the evening of 4th of July my AC stopped working. When I got home from work the next day it was 90 degrees in my house! After speaking with Michael he mentioned he would meet up with me to get me the part I needed. It was 8:45 pm when when we meet up and by 9:30 pm I had everything back up and running. Thanks Michael!!

So my aunt hired this company for heating and air installation on a new house build. They did not follow the plan, installed outdoor ac unit in the wrong location. Upon returning to move the unit to the right location, only moved the unit and covered the hole in the siding with a vent cover. Also neglected to move vent work from the indoor heating system to proper location with the air conditioner unit. In all 3 large unneccessary holes in the wrong location. They made a mistake and only halfway made it right. If this doesn't get resolved we will need to move the vent work ourselves and be responsible for replacing and paint matching the siding that was swiss cheesed due to their mistake.

OMG... we were absolutely melting. Our A/C quit working in the middle of the night. We called Brainard and they were able to get us on the schedule today. John came out and was able to solve/fix the problem. THANK YOU! 1000X OVER!!!

5 years and a month after having Brainard install the maratherm ac unit, the compressor valves went bad. Unlike their competitors who offer a 10 year warranty on basically any unit, Brainard and maratherm only offered 5 year. They told us there was nothing could do, except look at it and charge a fee for that (we had someone else come out to diagnose why it simply shut down and wouldn't run). We have consistently used them for maintenance and servicing for 10 years, but NEVER again. The reason it's "affordable" is because it's substandard.

I have depended on Brainard's for the last ten years. They have always provided excellent service at a reasonable price. John is a great technician.

I live in a apartment and everytime I talk to one of the guys that work there, he has some smart ass comments to say or talks down to you. Really tired of how rude he has been EVERY TIME he works at our building. They poured diesel fuel under my window and around the a/c. To keep dogs from peeing on the new a/c. I have copd, asthma and emphysema among other terminal illness. The next day I asked why the fuel and the guy said to live with it ,shut the window and to stop messing with his lively hood then he asked me what am i going to do about it as if to challenge me to a fight. Like I'm really looking to have this issue with heart and lung desiease. Unprofessional.. At what point does comen sense to root? Diesel fuel under a window. Really?? Update.. city inspector was involved and property management had to remove the soil around contaminated area..

I purchased a home in 2015 from Aspen Builders. Aspen Builders used Brainard Heating & AC as the subcontractor for my heating & AC. Recently, my AC unit started having issues. I had another company come out on a Sunday to do the repair due to the heat & Brainard didn't have emergency hours. I need a new evaporator coil as the one I have is leaking. This should be covered under the 10 Year warranty. However, Brainard never registered the serial number voiding the warranty. I've spoken with several AC companies and when AC units are installed like my was as a subcontractor, the company installing them registers the unit. Because Brainard failed to register by units, its an additional $1,200 for the part. I've tried calling them several times and they won't answer my calls or return my calls. The receptionist who already confirmed, the company should register the equipment. I would just like the owner to make this right or at least have the decency to talk to me. Either repair the error, provide the part or cover a good portion of their error. The $1,200 part would of been 100% covered under warranty had they just registered the serial number like they were supposed to.

Having Michael’s phone number has proven very helpful, I had issues with my furnance In the winter. a quick call and it was repaired before my house started to even get cold. Then the hottest day of the year my AC unit gave up on me, but another call and total comfort was restored. Thank you guys and keep it up!
