DO NOT hire this company!

They did not complete the job I hired them for and it cost me MORE MONEY!!!

I was moving out and hired them to do the final touches on my apartment as my leasing office required a professional service upon leaving. The leasing office has their own company that they work with but I decided to go with miracle workers to try and save the $30 more that the leasing office would charge.

Long story short, my leasing office decided their job wasn’t good enough and charged me again to get the job done right the second time. I was charged for the $180 cleaning fee I tried to avoid by going to miracle workers as well as a $50 carpet cleaning fee.

Upon asking for a refund I met a wall and have found it difficult to contact anyone on the team.

Such a disappointment I wish I never hired them and will not be hiring any cleaning services any time soon because of this WORTHLESS experience.

Where to begin…

I am not in the habit of leaving bad reviews - “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all” unfortunately, the owner of this company has been so wildly unprofessional I would be remiss not to warn others against using TMW.

I contacted this company for a deep carpet cleaning (pet stains). The quote was $625 and would include cleaning of the house as well.

Red Flag #1: When I did not receive the promised confirmation text/email a day prior to service, I reached out to confirm with a call, an email, and a text. I got a “Yes we’re on for tomorrow, sorry in a meeting” (a weird lie - he was on vacation, like that would matter to me?) text and nothing more. I suspect I was forgotten - it would make this ordeal less traumatizing if he had to scramble to line something up… but he claims I was on the schedule...

Red Flag #2: day of service, 1 hour late. Two disheveled (albeit very nice, and I’m sorry they are being taken advantage of by this man) employees arrive in plainclothes, dropped off by a third woman in her own personal vehicle. They have with them one single tote of cleaning products and towels, and ask me if I have a broom / mop / vacuum to use (I do not, it is mostly empty, my buyers are moving into this house on Monday) and the verbal confirmation of ‘I haven’t slept yet’ reinforced what I could plainly see. Despite my hesitation, they begin work on the house at 10:45am. This consists of one man dragging the stick vacuum from room to room, and one woman gently wiping surfaces with a cleaning towel (note: I do not hold the employees responsible for this bad review)

Red Flag #3: In answer to my concerns the owner tells me “floor cleaning tools are not necessary for this portion because we have the deep carpet cleaning truck on the way” so… Either;
a.) they ARE supposed to get the vacuuming out of the way for the part two deep carpet cleaning… but didn’t bring a vacuum… OR;
b.) floor tools are indeed NOT needed, and yet one of the employees spent the entire duration of service pushing around the stick vac used for light pet hair cleanup (that just so happened to be on site) on the entire house.. and didn’t have a garbage bag to empty the debris into…

Red Flag #4: when I told the owner none of this felt right and we would like to cut our losses and cancel the carpet cleaning portion (we were scheduled for 9:30am, it was 11:15am there was no carpet cleaning truck in sight) he gave me a sob story about how this will cost him… because he outsourced the carpet cleaning. The thing I called about, a DEEP extensive carpet cleaning, he neglected to mention he doesn’t do that, he hires it out (company “full force carpet and floors” cannot be found) So any and all comments about ‘his’ truck mounted system was again, a lie.

Red Flag #5: At 12:15 the woman, finished, asked “how far to the gas station?” … an 18 minute walk in 108° weather. I kindly offered the two of them a ride +$20 and some cookies. I feel for her. In what world does a client give the cleaners a lift to the gas station when they are finished? In what professional setting are employees left stranded? (1hr is a sufficient amount of time to arrange for transportation, yes?)

Red Flag #6: Owner sent an invoice minus the carpets for $375. I politely offered $100 to pay out of my own pocket his employees for their 1.5 hours (more than he intends to pay them I’m quite sure) but that I cannot in good conscience ask my buyers to pay his company for the lack of service - he called me an ‘indecent human being’ as if I am somehow the fraudster, and is threatening to send it to collections.

Red Flag #7: we won’t get in to the cigarette butts and weed pipe accidentally left behind.

Employees are the backbone of a company. Don’t just claim you ‘train’ your employees to a ‘level of standard’ - Do it. Bottom line is this company put those people, and myself in a very uncomfortable position with no ability to succeed, and tried to pass it off as a professional service... and continues to take zero accountability. ick.

I’ve used several cleaning companies and none come even close to TMW Cleaning Services! The attention to detail and they really take their time and act as if they are cleaning their own home. Jay came and cleaned mine and it looked better than it did when I moved in when a company supposedly cleaned it! My sister uses them for regular cleaning and I will be a life long customer! Keep up the good work guys!

Busy Bee has been cleaning the carpets in the hotel I manage for over four years, and they are simply the best. They respond to emergencies almost immediately when I call, whenever they come out for monthly service they consistently go above and beyond in their work. Their professionalism is outstanding, and the customer service is excellent. Their quick response time makes them number one in my book.
