Great work! We're very happy with our backyard

These guys really know landscaping! They built a brick patio for me and came up with a couple good suggestions that didn't raise the price. Willy didn't like how the dirt was compacting so he had his team dig it out, compact deeper, put the top dirt back and compact it again. Really professional!

This is the second time we have had gail willey do work for us and both times we've been extremely pleased. Thomas is a great project manager and the people who do the work are professional and do a great job.

Gail Willey Landscaping crew (Brian, Nelson, Saul) just finished the back and sides of our new house in White's Creek (builder doing the front). Could not be MORE HAPPY with the results and the overall experience. Ahead of time, on budget, spectacular results, professional and talented crew. Every one involved was a ROCK STAR. I'd score the whole experience a thousand stars but I can only do five!

Nate, Cristian, and Juan went above and beyond for us. They brought with them great ideas. Not only were they friendly but extremely efficient! Cristian replied immediately and Juan and his team were prompt and on time. The Reno native would hire them again in a second!!

This was the best experience we've had with any business since moving to Reno (last summer). Brian listened, designed, work with us on minor tweaks, and navigated the HOA/ARC. Then Nelson and team executed quickly and efficiently. The job site was always tidy during the process. Brian requested modifications after the quality inspection (the "little things") that were promptly addressed. We could not be more pleased and would highly recommend GW to anyone!

Hugo at Gail Willey Landscaping in Reno fixed our irrigation. He got it done quickly as the weather was starting to get very hot. We are very happy!

I called Gail Willey to do some basic irrigation system repairs. I was informed that they really focus on larger projects but would have someone reach out to confirm. I received a call from Ralph. Ralph confirmed that this wasn’t their type of landscaping but then asked what the problem was and I reviewed my challenges with Ralph. Ralph then took 5-10 minutes helping me troubleshoot what he thought the issue might be. Then Ralph recommend another company that is more focused on what I was looking for. I couldn’t believe that I was being helped with them knowing that I wasn’t going to be doing business with Gail Willey. I was grateful and shared my gratitude with Ralph. Today I received a call from Ralph again and I thought when I saw the # that this was a mistake. Nope! Ralph was letting me know that he was thinking about my challenges last night and wanted to share a few more troubleshooting ideas. Whaaaat?? Who does that! Knowing this is how they treat non paying customers , I can’t imagine the follow through they must provide for actual clients. I hope this helps anyone trying to decide between 2 offers. Customer service is imperative to a successful business relationship. I hope I need their services in the future. Thanks

Contracted to have my backyard renovated by Gail Willey Landscaping Inc. They did a fantastic job, quickly and efficiently. We were always in contact with them for any changes that were necessary. And, they came in under my budget!

The designer and team at Gail Willey was wonderful to work with. From the initial design to the last minute changes the experience was awesome and I would recommend them to others looking for a great team to build their landscape dreams.

First off, let us start by saying we (my wife and I) rarely write letters or post reviews about our experiences. However, our experience with your team is and has been absolutely wonderful start to finish. Allow me to start with our initial contact when receiving quotes from multiple landscaping companies. It was March of this year when we called and interviewed multiple landscape companies to see who we would think would be the best-fit for our job. This job was a complete backyard design from scratch. Thomas Sloniker came to our home and was patient, listened intently to my wife’s every detail (this was huge as she already had a big design in mind), answered her questions, never once put her down about her ideas (others did this), and he was extremely professional in his interaction with us. Thomas sold us on doing business with Gail Willey that day. When he left my wife said, “That’s who we are hiring”, without even seeing the formal proposal or design. You are lucky to have him!
The next part of our experience with your team was with Greg and Thomas in the design aspect of the planning. Greg took his time showing both and on paper and on the big screen what ideas he had with Thomas’s notes. It was gorgeous! Once again my wife had some ideas (such as no rocks, only bark for the whole backyard) and Greg asked why, but never once discounted her ideas. He was clearly just trying to understand so he can do the best job possible in designing the backyard. We were very grateful with all the help and suggestions we received! They came up with a stunning finished 3D fly-through and paper rendering of the project. It was truly perfect and took into consideration everything we wanted, but added components that we hadn’t thought about.
We broke ground as promised in the middle of June. Claudio, Julio, Daniel, and Christian the men who worked on the backyard were amazing! They worked hard every day (I came home for lunch to take the dogs for walks) hardly ever stopping or standing around. You are lucky to have such a dedicated team of hard workers. The thing that amazed us the most was we have pots on the patio that had nothing to do with the job and yet the older man (I can’t remember his name and I feel bad for that) would take his time to water ALL of them every day in the morning and evening. He didn’t have to do that, but he was so kind to. This is the kind of care we saw at our project day in and day out.
There were of course little things to iron out along the way and Thomas & Greg were immediately responsive to our questions no matter how little, and took care of them all. The carpentry crew Dave, Carson, and Stephen did impeccable work throughout the whole project. Suzanne and Severo were extremely helpful in the billing aspects and as well as making sure our fireplace arrived on time.

The subcontractors from Nelson & H&K plumbing were great to work with as well. I had conversations with both and their knowledge and expertise were very apparent.

We had a truly amazing experience with Gail Willey and the entire team from start to finish. The attention to detail and most importantly, the customer service your team provided was beyond what is typical in our world today. We tell all our friends, family, and my clients they weren’t the cheapest or most expensive in town but they were WORTH EVERY PENNY AND THEN SOME! We will always highly recommend Gail Willey and his team to anyone wanting to make their dreams a reality.

P.S. My wife was talking to our neighbor across the street yesterday, and our neighbor told her that she wanted to see our backyard, as she has heard rumors in the neighborhood that our backyard is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks to Gail Willey we are the talk of our neighborhood!

We were thrilled with the job that Gail Wiley did for our home in Somersett! Brian Dean gave us a beautifully thought out design. We had two other bids but Brian’s was the most artistic and professional. Because it is a vacation home, all of the work was done in our absence and the results were off the page.
