Big shout out to Justin at Mountain West. Thank you so much for repairing all the duct work, updating equipment on our AC, and doing our system maintenance. Justin is very professional and did a great job for us.

Bi-annual service performed by Justin who has been here before and as always did a wonderful job! Shared his observations, explained what was performed, and made sure that we are keeping up with our filter changes. I highly recommend Mountain West for all HVAC, and just found out that they have an electrician now, too. I am curious to get a quote on our next gas to convection/induction range conversion project.

We had Justin from Mountain West HVAV over to service our residential air conditioner. Excellent explanation of what the service call entailed. He checked all the components and took photos of the measurements assuring me the system was operating as it should. He called before arriving and he was very professional.

We hired Mountain West to install a generator at our home in Galena Forest area. Andrew and his crew did an excellent job. They handled all the design, permitting and installation. Great communication during the whole process, and the quality of their work is top notch. We were so impressed with their performance on the generator installation, we hired them to install a new furnace. Great company, great people.

Hi, filled out the Online request form for Service after hours and was contacted the next morning promptly at 8 AM. Justin came out around noon and thoroughly diagnosed and checked everything over and replaced our thermostat He was super nice and explained things thoroughly And didn’t do any extra work that wasn’t needed I would highly recommend both Justin and Mountain West

All four of the young men were very friendly and professional. They were knowledgeable about their products and answered all my questions. The entire job was done in less than 5 hours (my furnace is in my attic) and they left my home clean. Thank you

Andrew gave us a quote for a new hvac system, ours was super old and wasn’t working well. The quote was thorough, everyone we dealt with communicated clearly and did a great job! The communication throughout the whole process was exceptional and the end result is a new efficient hvac system that is much quieter and nicer than our old system. Can’t go wrong with Mountain West!!!

Full replacement of 20yo AC and furnace was completed as scheduled, on-time and complete professionalism. 3 person team. Tackled several minor existing issues (from original equipment) including accommodating new height of furnace/AC unit, replacing original breaker and relocating electrical disconnect to compressor. Very satisfied!

The Install was finished in a day for a new furnace and heatpump. The team did great and was very accommodating with requests and answering questions. Matt and Deric stayed behind to help with the thermostat set up and complete any clean up that needed done, along with adding a CO alarm I didn't realize I was missing.

Josh called and arrived on time. Very polite and personable and explained everything. He quickly found and addressed the problem.

Great experience, would recommend and use Mountain West again

I have been a customer of Andrew Morrell and Mountain West HVAC for almost 5 years. Andrews integrity, knowledge and professionalism is what first attracted us and helped us decide on Mt West for all our HVAC needs from system installation to preventive maintenance check ups. As the company grows Andrew is surrounding himself with an excellent and highly efficient team. Daniell in the office is a great example of efficiency as is Justin the tech who performed the last 3 maintenance checks on my HVAC system. I really like the Residential Maintenance print out that is made available to the customer. It leaves me with no doubt as to the thoroughness of the inspection. It is a list of each component of the system that is checked, what it does and how it is performing.

This company was awesome! We needed a service to determine if any repairs needed to be completed before the winter really became a winter... They came out for an affordable price and gave us great advise. Super great service, honest, trustworthy. Thank you!!!

The service tech, Justin, was on time, professional and knowledgable. He performed a thorough inspection of our entire system and provided a nice list with pictures of the components. He was not a high pressure sales guy, but did recommend we have it inspected annually because its so old. I will definitely be using them in the future.

This summer the blower in my HVAC quit working. Given my system was 27 years old, I decided to bite the bullet and replace rather than repair it. I received replacement estimates from 3 companies in the area. Not only was Mountain West Heating & Air Conditioning very competitive with pricing but also very responsive to and thoroughly answered my many questions. On the day the new system was to be installed, I received a call 15 minutes prior to their arrival letting me know they were on their way over. The crew was fantastic- highly efficient, knowledgeable and left the house looking like they had never been there. I got a rundown on how to use my new thermostat and they even showed me pictures of the work done in the attic where the interior parts of the system are housed. Overall, highly satisfied with this company and would absolutely recommend to others.

After getting different quotes from other companies I luckily ran across Mountain West Heating and Air Conditioning and gave them a call after reading all their positive reviews. I’m so glad I did! Their pricing was competitive and they are locally owned, a big plus in my book! I called them on August 22, 2025 because our air conditioner decided to go out on us on one of the hottest days of the week. They sent someone right out that day, gave me a quote that I accepted and got to work that same afternoon replacing both my air conditioner and furnace that were 15 years old. They finished up their work the following day, a Saturday. Their customer service is outstanding. They were respectful, on time, and made sure to clean everything up before they left. I feel like their team went well beyond and I would recommend them to anyone needing their services. Thanks Mountain West! From a very happy customer.

Last summer, I had my air-conditioning system serviced by this company. At that time, I prepaid (at a discount) to have my furnace serviced this winter. Last week they called and I was able to schedule the service for today.

Josh arrived earlier than the 4-hour window previously scheduled (better to be early than late). Josh was a pleasure to work with. I was curious what this service entailed; Josh had no problem with my looking over his shoulder. He explained everything he was doing and showed me the components he was working with.

In conclusion, I was very satisfied with Josh being the technician and the overall company. I’ll be working with this company in years to come.

We’ve used Mountain West Heating in the past and are very happy with their service. Just recently one of our furnaces stopped working on a cold Thursday night. We called them Friday morning and it turns out parts for our 22 year old furnace were not readily available. We decided to go with a new furnace and mentioned to them we had family coming in for the weekend. They immediately adjusted their schedules, called in extra technicians, and installed a new furnace that very same day! Incredible service! Obviously, we highly recommend Mountain West Heating!
