Electrical reviews in Reno, Nevada

I was driving to work this morning when one of this company’s employees decided to ride my bumper in a clearly marked company vehicle aggressively tailgating and reckless the entire way. If this is how their staff behaves behind the wheel, I can only imagine how careless they are on the job.

Let me start of my saying how wonderful working with Simple Power Solar was.

Our array was commissioned and turned on today and we have been exceedingly happy with every step of the process. The initial contact was quick and easy. We had a rep on site very quickly after our initial phone conversation . He was clear, knowledgeable and well informed about the regulatory requirements and limitations. He site review and resulting proposal was very detailed in both technical and financial respects.

Once we'd agreed to move forward we got on their installation schedule.
Their backlog meant it took longer to get started than I'd originally hoped but was not unreasonable and matched the expectations set in our original discussions.

The installation went flawlessly. We have a concrete tile roof and this can be a problem. They used a fairly new installation method that is billed as both quicker to install, less likely to leak and less risk of damaging the roof. The crew (both Simple Power employees and a special rep from the manufacturer for the roof system) were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous the entire process. They were done on schedule with NO problems at all.

The commissioning process (inspections, etc) went very smoothly with Simple Power handling the vast majority of the work.

VERY PLEASED.

The Simple Power Solar installation team of three were exceptionally personable, skilled, professional, hard working and efficient. I recommend them highly!

Everyone that worked on our install was phenomenal. They were attentive to our needs, quick to respond to questions, accommodating with change requests, and kept us informed every step of the way. Everyone was friendly and helpful (and great to our dogs who oversaw their work : ). Couldn't be happier!

Simple Solar did a great job installing panels on our home in North Lake Tahoe. The process was easy and transparent. It took a while to get everything completed due to delays on the utility company side, but the Simple Solar folks were very responsive and helpful throughout the process. I would highly recommend them.

Fabulous company and incredible staff!! First time buying solar and they made it an easy, smooth and personal experience. They took the time to educate me, discuss various options, even had one of their experts personally view my house to ensure I had the most cost efficient set up. I felt empowered and that I had choices. They then shepherded me through the entire process. They treated me like family and I couldn't be happier. Highly, highly recommend them.

I purchased a solar system from a national firm. This company was contracted by my original supplier to resolve start up issues and the did. Once they received the contract for the work they kept me informed. The Service rep Jon was well seasoned in this work. He was timely, polite and communicate exceptionally well. Because of Him I have now made Simple Power Solar my local agent and will be using them if as non warranty items arrive.

This is the first home I have had with Solar, I was pleasantly surprised how helpful everyone was explaining things to me! I travel for work and the workers were able to service my solar without me being at home! They hooked the solar up to my internet for me because I am computer challenged and was unable to do it myself ! Great experience

Had such a great experience with our solar installation with Simple Power. Not only did they do a great job, but also noted unrelated repairs we needed on our roof so that we could get them addressed. They were fast, quick to respond to questions and a great price! Can't recommend them enough.

We've had solar panels on our roof for several years and decided that it was time for a battery backup if the grid went down. Simple Power did a great job. First there are required permit from the city and electric company, which Simple Power handles. Then the installation of equipment and inspections, and finally the software setup so you have monitoring capacity on your smart phone. They are all very knowledgeable. The last employee who set up the software and monitoring, Sean, was spectacular.

Professional service and quality work. Matt, Cody, and Sean installed a Span smart panel, a Span Drive EV charger, and a Tesla Powerwall 2 battery into my home as upgrades to my existing solar array. They answered all of my questions, kept me up to date with the process, and cleaned up when they were done.
I highly recommend Simple Power Solar and will be calling them again for any additional work.

So thankful for Simple Power Solar and their expertise. Their office staff was incredibly helpful, and their technicians spent the time and effort to research the problem in my workplace's solar inverter and ground faults rather than just saying we needed a new inverter for $30k! If you have system that is no longer supported by the original installer, we highly recommend Simple Power Solar.

I wanted to write to give a great review for Simple Power Solar. They did our solar panels in 2019, which have been flawless and performing even a bit better than anticipated. And then they were able to find us a Tesla Powerwall, which are hard to find, and get it installed this spring. We love having the battery backup, and they made the process very smooth. We would highly recommend them for anyone looking for solar and battery backup in the area.

Great experience, fast and clean. Mark and his crew were faced with a difficult installation on a steep roof on our out building, but they made it look simple. True professionals. We are considering adding additional panels to our array.

Great experience having these guys install Tesla Powerwall batteries and solar panels; they are committed to doing things the right way, and they got the job done much faster then Tesla would have. During the winter season NV Energy’s grid tends to have lots of outages and momentary drops (Zephyr Cove area). Our system has already been tested: during a 2-hour outage on Thanksgiving Day, the Powerwalls kicked on fast and silently, running the entire house (including the central heat pump) until the power came back on. With the batteries set at 80% we could have gone 12 hours. After a long run with generator maintenance issues, I am thrilled to have a more reliable solution in place.

Simple Power Solar did an efficient and effective job installing our solar panels in 2020. They communicated clearly and the work is solid, having survived the last two winters of snow (though we are diligent about clearing our panels). Thanks for being part of the solution!

When my system stopped producing power i was not sure who to call. Solar City was the original installers then it switched to Tesla. Was unable to navigate thru their website to find a solution and talking to a live person appeared not to be an option.
I picked Simple Power Solar based on their location to my former employer. They were helpful right after the first call, gave me the information needed to resolve my system, so we moved forward.
There was a time element from diagnosis to repair but that was out of their hands. Upon the eta date for the replacement inverter arriving, it appeared the original supplier was unable to provide them with the product, so Krystal started to follow up for finding a solution after a few days a solution was found, and my system is back up and performing as designed.
Thanks for your customer service!
Doug

Super easy to work with, responded quickly and cheaper than the rest. These guys are awesome! Krystal and her partner were great.

One of the few solar companies i have dealt with that are only there to help you not take and empty your bank account then go out of business. I have dealt with them for a couple years now fixing issues caused by Sunworks who are terrible and out of business now. 10/10 this is my go to company for all things solar.

Simple Power Solar installed two Powerwall 3s in my Truckee Home. They worked seamlessly with the necessary agencies. The installation is a work of art as the installers took great care with conduit and cabeling even in areas that will never see the light of day again. Initial start up issues were handled expeditiously with their support team working directly with Tesla. Go Simple Power to get the project done correctly

Amazing service and expertise. The leadership and staff were always available throughout the process of setting up our battery.
