Electrical reviews in Reno, Nevada

HLWT is my go-to resource when I need lights fixed at my work. Always professional and give you multiple options while keeping with your budget.

We called to have a walk thru done of our Warehouse. We had multiple lights out and some track lighting issues. Jason's team came out and replaced, troubleshooted and repaired everything we needed in one trip. That's how it's done, people! Huge Shot Out to these guys!

I have been working with Have Lights Will Travel for the past year. They are a knowledgeable and professional team. I would recommend using this company for any of your electrical needs.

Our technician, David, did a great job! Very professional and courteous. He was knowledgeable and patient in explaining some of the more technical issues.

Outstanding service- HLWT folks Kyle, Raul and Tom executed a challenging electrical project patiently and precisely, resulting in outdoor electrical heat in the patio of our mountain home.

I have a great deal of confidence in Have Lights. They have shown professionalism, safety on the job and never fails to get the job done. I highly recommend them for all your lighting needs inside and outside.

Excellent work. Their job is amazing Excellent workmanship. If you need any TESLA Plugs, theses are the the go to guys. Great job Kyle and crew. Thank you !

We had Have Lights come out for our office building that was not well lit and we were concerned about potential break-ins in dark areas. We had some general ideas of what to light up but the experts here knew exactly what we needed. Our suggestions would have costed more and required many light installations, but their suggestions saved us money and lit up the concern spots better than we had vision. Our security video has shown less people wondering around in the old "dark" spots that were of concern and we were very pleased with their suggestions, installation, and expertise.

Maybe it was my fault for being naive about electrical work but I feel like I was totally uninformed about pricing and like I was taken advantage of. They diagnosed my problem which was a bad GFI, and then put a box over an open wire and charged me $350 for it. I should have just done it myself knowing what the problem was. They were here for an hour + maybe 15 mins past. They informed me it was 140 for the first hour and 110 for every hour after through email. At the end of the meeting the guy goes "dont worry you'll only be charged for one worker." They spent way too much time trying to put the cover back on the outlet and when I asked if I could just do it myself they said they would do it and it's my mistake for not saying no. There was no discussion of pricing for parts or even what timeframe I was being charged for until I got an email saying they charged my account 4-5 days after they were here. They charge you for fuel on their invoice as well. They also require that you leave a card on file before even starting service which I thought was odd for a smaller residential appointment.Thankfully they removed my info upon request.I wish that they would have explained that they would charge for a whole hour if they went over the first one by even a minute, and I really don't feel like their work was worth 350 dollars so, i wont be using or recommending their services in the future.

Have Lights Will Travel did a great job. Our lights were about 18' in the air and they brought all the right equipment to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Thank you HLWT!

Raul did a great job! Our parking lot lights at the Reno Red Robin look amazing and are so much better than before! Thank you Raul!

Tom was on time (even a little early! 😏), and was friendly and professional. He explained what he needed to do for each of our projects, and how long it would take. He finished on time and cleaned everything up, and before he left he ensured that my questions were answered. Thank you for such a great job!

Have Lights Will Travel was able to get me in the day I needed them for our outlets failing. They were able to diagnose and fix the issue within 30 minutes of arriving. Thank you Raul for being so knowledgeable and prompt!

Our company has used Have Lights Will Travel for about 20 years- we recently had a bunch of old fluorescent fixtures switched out to LED tubes and WOW what a difference its made. The staff is very efficient and willing to work within our budget. Their workers always clean up after themselves. Highly recommend Have Lights Will Travel. We just had more work done and they did another great job- their employee worked with us as we had to move some stuff around for the scissor lift - very profession team of workers.

Raul Macias at Have Lights Will Travel is my go to for all things related to electrical. I highly recommend him! He is trustworthy and does a great job every time I need help. Look no further!

Have Lights Will Travel installed our new LED lights at our bridge Facility in Lakeridge Plaza. Their workers were on time, professional, and did excellent work. We highly recommend them.

We recently had our lobby lights replaced by Have Lights Will Travel, and the transformation is stunning! The new LED lights not only make the space look fantastic but are also energy-efficient. The HLWT team was fast, efficient, and provided exceptional customer service from start to finish. A special shoutout to Raul, who was incredibly professional and a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Have Lights Will Travel, for illuminating our space and exceeding our expectations!

Jason was great about coming out to see what needed to be done, generating the estimate and getting the work scheduled. Tom showed up on time (actually a bit early), was very easy to deal with and did a great job for us. Would definitely recommend HLWT to anyone with really high ceilings who doesn't want to try to change out lights and batteries on their own.
