Suuuuper friendly staff, alooooot of gardening goods and it smells wonderful inside. The flowers outside are beautiful and the pumpkins are funky little guys

Called asking about certain plants, get to the store and the prices for the plants spoken about were hundreds of dollars more than we were told on the phone, waste of time. They have some okay things, but in 25 years they have never had anything impressive enough to spend the kind of money they are asking. Not when there are better places in town.

People were friendly. Did what I needed them to do. Lil tip from a constant shopper there ask for Cinthia to check you out she is the nicest cashier there.

Moana Nursery is always well stocked with plants, bird feed and home decorations. The have beautiful fountains. Friendly and helpful staff.

HIGHLY recommend! Gigi and her group did an amazing job with the arrangements for my wedding, and kept us in the know every step of the way!

Moana Nursery is the best in town. If you need anything from weekly mowing to a brand new sprinkler system to they will do it and do it well. Their workers are some of the best in town. Call them today.

I have always loved visiting this location of Moana Nursery but today was extra special! Madison helped rescue and repot a badly rootbound houseplant of mine with sentimental value that I was unable to repot myself. I was totally blown away by the quality of her work and how easy the process was! Thanks to everyone for the fantastic customer service and to Madison for working your magic on my momma's beloved zz plant!

When my drain valve broke at 2:30pm. and started flooding my yard Julio was out within an hour and got the valve shut off. Great service and he was able to come back out later in the week and replace the valve. Works great. Always know that when I call Moana , they do the job right.

very helpful always over 14 yrs. First a tree for a patio. Lately trying to root some branches of an old hedge. Lots of care & attention delicately planting some branches in mulch after coating with a ROOTING powder. Instructions for care. Only sold me the powder approximate $9.00 sale. Why would ANYONE say anything bad about these nice people and this lovely shop & nursery?

I truly enjoy going to Moana Nursery. I love looking at the garden ideas and I've had wonderful success with all the plants. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. I continue to go back every year.

The Florist department is AMAZING! Candace did such a great job with the arch from our house and with the ideas that we gave her with the floral arrangement and she made it all into MAGIC! Very talented and great communication throughout the whole process! Loved it!!

We got terrific help. We drove past other garden centers because we want to be sure that when we plant our grape vine, it will live and be delicious. The women working were quick and very helpful.

Their selections are nice but their growing advice was incorrect on some new plants I bought. In addition, one of the plants I bought had root rot and died shortly after purchase and I went through quite a bit to save it. When I bought from them, I asked if I had issues with the plants, could I bring them back for new plants or a refund and they said yes. I could also call their plant growing service for tips on saving the plant from root rot. The service would never answer their phone and never called me back after the messages I left. After much work to save the plant, it was too late and died. Called to exchange/return it and now they said they won't accept the return saying they only warranty shrubs. Not the most coordinated place on advice. Nobody could answer my questions on proper ph balancing or hydroponic growing either. Received bad advice on indoor plant species too. I received a gift card here not too long ago but once that is used up, I probably won't be going back.

I stopped into Moana Nursery as I saw they had pumpkins in their outside garden. All orange pumpkins, regardless of size, are $1.99, specialty pumpkins are $4.99, and mini's are $.99 cents. Best deal in Reno!

I also checked on repotting services for a plant I bought in July 2022. They do repotting for a fee of $20. They'll have your plant for a week to make sure it takes to the new pot . You need to transport the plant to & from Moana, and bring in its new pot.

Went here looking for some indoor house plants. They have a great selection of plants to pick from. Prices are fair, some are quite affordable while some are quite expensive. Different sizes to choose from as well. I will be back when looking for more plants to buy.

I'm always so excited to go pick out plants at Moana. The staff is always positive, friendly, and very informative. And I ask a million questions and they take their time to answer them all. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.

I've bought many, many trees and other plants from Moana, all of which I had them plant. Only 1 died and the Michael, the Manager, could not have been nicer or more accommodating about replacing it. Michael, Junior, and the rest of the crew are great. I'm very happy with the service I've received from the staff and will continue to be a loyal customer

This place is so awesome. We have visited during summer to buy seeds. They have got lots of seed and plant varieties. I really fell in love with this place. The botanist (old guy) there has an incredible knowledge on everything there. He explained the way how to water a china doll plant is fantastic. I will definitely visit again.

I always try to shop local when I can, and Moana Nursery has been my go-to for years and years, despite costing almost double and having less than good plant quality. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars there in the past few years, and was recently cheated out of about 600 dollars by their management. I’ll spare you the details, but I was not given items that I had paid for and placed on hold, and management is unwilling to investigate or provide me a refund. Super disappointed that this is how they’ve chosen to address and issue with a longtime loyal customer.
Shop elsewhere. You’ll save money and end up with way higher quality plants. Trust me.

We are extremly pleased with Moana's revamp of our office landscaping to include more climate friendly, low water, low maintence features. We had a horrible experience with the quote process from All Seasons. Moana however took the time to explain their suggestions (Moana didn't act like they were doing us a favor by providing a quote and then argued with us throughout the process), followed up on their quote, made sure all our questions were answered, provided plant lists and schematics, arranged for the required city permitting and sidewalk closure, and adhered to the timelime provided. We even had a bit of an irrigiation issue during the install and the crew took care of it without a hitch in the process. Moana and its people are truly focused on the customer experience and provide exceptional work. Highly recommend.

We went looking for hedges for a privacy screen. There are so many, we had a hard time choosing.
Thankfully, Moana has some great employees.
We had a wonderful woman named Judy and wound up selecting a total of 7 varieties.
