These guys were great! They got everything done ahead of schedule and did an amazing job. We would definitely hire Common Ground 818 again.

Paul is fantastic at communication and his staff is amazing. The most respectful construction folks I have ever met, The quality of the work is beyond any other contractor I have ever hired. These guys are great!

Common Ground just completed a new retaining wall for our back terrace. This was easily the best experience we have had with work done on our home. The crew was great to work with, skilled, friendly and considerate. Paul came by several times throughout the process. The jobsite was cleaned at the end of each day. Our new wall is beautiful and we could not be happier!

I recently had Common Ground 818 complete extensive foundation and crawl space work. The work was completed on time and on budget, there were no surprises, only pleasant results. I have used Paul and his company many times and would recommend them anytime.

I had my kitchen and living room remodeled from floor to ceiling. The crew did a phenomenal job! I so appreciate their attention to detail. Everything ran smoothly with no waiting time between phases. The whole job was completed in a timely manner. Very professional and a pleasure to work with! You nailed it! And absolutely succeeded in building my dreams!! Much thanks to Paul, Tim, Shawn and Damon :)

Common Ground 818 is an amazing company of general contractors.
The owner/manager (Paul) is very knowledgeable, hands- on and prompt. He returns all forms of communication in a timely manner and is always polite and respectful. Concerns are always addressed and creative solutions are always offered.
Paul's team of workers - finish carpenters, painters, etc, are always friendly, polite and detailed oriented. Everything is done right with great attention to producing quality work. I felt very comfortable with having his team on my property.
Paul does use subcontractors when needed. He picks reliable craftsmen who have a passion for quality.
Common Ground 818 has assisted me with 3 projects:
1. A higher end bathroom remodel at one property
2. Paint and finish work for an older home
3. Upgrading bathrooms, cabinetry, and closets in a newly built home.
They did a wonderful job with each project and I will happily have them perform additional work for me in the future. -
My experience with Common Ground 818 was great! Not only is Paul quick to respond, but he was very accommodating with the tight timeline I was working with. 10/10 Recommend and will be using his services again

We contracted with Common Ground 818 for two bathroom remodels and some water damage/mold mitigation. Paul and his crew were great to work with. The quality of the work was excellent. Issues/surprises were handled quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended. In fact, we're already talking with Paul about a couple of other projects.

Paul Syfers of Common Ground is terrific to work with. He quoted a fair price, was always available for questions or guidance, and the project was completed on time and turned out great. His team Tim & Sean were very conscientious about taking care of our home, kept the site tidy and they were professional yet very sweet. They even offered advice on the myriad of details! I don't hesitate to recommend Paul and Common Ground for your home project.

Paul and the Common Ground team are first class! We have hired them to remodel multiple properties including our home. They have always been on budget and very communicative and creative in overcoming the challenges on our highly customized projects. His crew is professional, respectful and clean up after themselves. We have recommended Common Ground to friends and family and they have been very happy with their work as well. Common Ground is the best!

Great work, Jay and Anthony! Thank you!!!

The best company! I would recommend prestige to everyone I know!

Well, we would have loved to have them completely remodel our bathroom but they never showed up for the consultation. I drove 20 minutes from work and missed my lunch break to get an estimate. I’ve tried calling them for two days now but no one answers the phone and the mailbox isn’t set up. 🤷🏼♀️
-
Jay was great from start to finish. I’ve never had a company break down what I am paying for the way they have. They have integrity and their work speaks for its self.

If you like subpar work at a premium price look no further. Great at being late, messy finish work, with superb lack of care. 10/10 on being overrated. If the owner could try and take advantage of you more I'm sure he'd try.

Mr. Hachett your continued harassment and defamatory statements online need to stop immediately. As my wife stated in her post that you had flagged, we will be proceeding with further legal action and a police report if you do not immediately remove your post with false accusations.
Do your research on the contractors board. See attached photos of the work done by Prestige. -
They did a new deck, replaced some old siding and painted two sides of my house and did a great job. They got started ahead of schedule, did everything exactly how I envisioned, and were meticulous. Couldn’t be happier.

Hired Prestige to replace a deteriorating sidewalk with composite decking. They did great work. Professional job.

Unresponsive, I've tried contacting this company for weeks to schedule a quote appointment for baseboards via the quote request feature on their website, phone calls and voicemails and never got any type of response or call back.
-
This is a fairly new company but I know the owner and have seen several of their projects and I am sure they are an up and coming name to look out for. They bid fair and get work done on time which is something to be said in this line of work. I would recommend Prestige for any commercial or residential carpentry job that you can throw at them.

Please be careful of this guy! He’s a good talker, but the fact is that he quit my job after removing 95% of my siding and then demanding payment. If he’d removed 100% like the contract stated, I would have paid him. I still have a bruise on my face from when he tackled me and drove my glasses into my face with a headlock. These are just facts. He didn’t terminate the contract, he simply demanded money I didn’t owe him, and then he assaulted me. If anything I’m saying is false, then he’ll sue me. But he can’t, because I have the photos to show that the work he was supposed to do wasn’t done. Look, he’s got some nice reviews here, but take a look at his operation. Are you looking at a successful pro, or are you looking at a person who can barely pay his bills? Go to his office, check out his pos truck. Is this a guy who is thriving based on solid business practices, or is he someone who spends more time polishing his image than swinging a hammer?
