Kristy and her crew were on time, did a lot of cutting back old, dead wood from a 60 year old ash and made it look like new. Very fair price and the service and follow through were priceless.

Called and sent email to get quote to trim a tree. Got a call back approx 4 days later. It was a Thursday, and lady said she would come by on Tuesday to take a look and leave quote on front door. Never came by. Called me couple days after she was to have quote done, and asked if I was interested in getting a quote for some tree work. Said yeah, you were supposed to quote this Tuesday. Both times she called, she asked "do you already have someone else taking care of this". I told her not yet, but I will now....and thanked her for calling. Obviously too busy for me. But, at least she called back. Other tree company came out on a Sat morning to get me a number and sounded like he actually wanted the work.

After calling a different tree service (Scotts) here in Reno in June of 2018 and experiencing a no call/no show estimate by them the first time around, and then being told they could not trim our trees until February of the following year (2019, almost 8 months later!) the second time around, I felt the need to go with another tree service and chose Reno Tree Service. ***** I must say I am exremely happy I did! :) I had two huge trees----an apple and a plum pruned in a very professional and tasteful manner by a certified arborist and several large bushes, hedges, and vines manicured to my specifications. We live in the Newlands neighborhood in the Old Southwest where the trees and shrubs are numerous and mature. From the very beginning, Christy the owner arrived promptly to give an estimate. She was very personable, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We were scheduled within a few weeks and several clean-cut men arrived right on time and on the scheduled date to perform their services. I could tell right away that they were "experienced" with tree cutting and pruning methods as they worked methodically as a team, but not hastily. They communicated with each other so the whole operation ran smooth. As a result, the two large mature trees look outstanding---they really needed to be reshaped, thinned out, and precision cut....which was done. Each man seemed to have his own set of tasks and they did an impeccable job as a whole of cleaning up after themselves. (I'm very picky about the clean-up and making sure that surrounding plants etc. are not stepped on in the process). They took care in making sure all surrounding plants remained intact.) The rest of the foliage on my lengthy list was cut well and in good taste. Reno Tree Service gets 5 STARS from me, and I hope to schedule them on an on-going yearly basis. 5 Stars*****, A+++++

Hands down the best arborist in nevada. This is who you call for tree work. Also, these people help the community immensely with free wood chips and firewood when available. Just an awesome group of folks there at Reno Tree.

Fast, friendly estimate; work performed before projected date during busy season by an awesome crew of two (Craig & Christopher) who worked professionally and efficiently. Owner was flexible and accommodating with arrangements. Definitely recommend all-around as a reliable and expert local business!

Extremely unprofessional company! They were hired by the home owners of the house I am renting to remove some trees. Was told it would take two days and had to park all my vehicles else where. They spent probably 1/3 of the time they were there working, the rest of the 2/3 of the time they were there were spent chain smoking and sitting around. The job could have easily been completed in one day if they had been working instead of sitting around. They also didn't even introduce themselves when they showed up to do the work, like most companies do. I had to go outside and speak with them about the work. They also left their huge work truck and wood chipper in my yard over night, without telling me that it would be left there. I wish I could give this company no stars. Do not use them! When I called to and spoke with Jackie to inform her that their employees were Not working her excuse was that they hired another person so they told them they could take their time completing the job. Wouldn't the job be done faster if they hired a new guy, not have them spend half of their time sitting around talking? Not to mention they were cussing up a storm talking about smoking pot right in front of me while I was sitting on my front porch. I may not be the homeowner so I didn't pay for the service, but I am the one who had to deal with this rude company at my house for 3 days, when it could have been a one day job had they been working. (the job was supposed to take 2 days, turned into 3 days so they could have their "wood guy" come collect the rounds of wood they left.)

I had a GREAT experience with Reno Tree Service. They removed a downed evergreen after a recent storm, that was resting on our neighbors house. They were prompt, knowledgeable, and did exactly what they said they would at a fair price. I will use them for all of our future tree trimming needs.

In February the crew came to my house and removed a very large Blue Spruce in my front yard. They did an excellent job with the cleanup and stump removal the following week. The timing was good and the price was very reasonable. I'll use them again.

Had some branches on a couple trees that needed trimming. Called 3 places but only received an estimate from Kristy. Less than a week the guys were here to do the job. Very reasonable, professional, polite, courteous AND they cleaned up better than they found the yard. I would HIGHLY recommend Reno Tree Service!!! Don't bother calling anyone else!

My experience with Reno Tree Service was incredibly poor. A job was started and not completed as they were 'too busy'. A large pine tree was cut down and the large rounds were stacked up against our house. They never came back to remove as per their estimate so we had to remove them ourselves and upon doing so noticed damage to our siding. I will never use this company again and would not recommend them to anyone. Very disappointed.

Had a large branch break on one of our trees during a series of storms. They came out rather quickly and charged a reasonable price. Got the job done in the snow and pruned some of our other trees. The guys did a great job of cleaning up. Would recommend them.

I'm really hoping that anyone reading the reviews for this company takes this one to heart. It's hard to believe that such prompt, and courteous customer service still exits in a world full of so much competition and greed. I called a few companies to see about having some old juniper bush stumps removed from my son and daughter-in-law's yard, but not one and mean NOT ONE other company compared to Reno Tree Service. Christie (I hope that is how she spells it) and Renee area so professional and literally within two hours of my first call I had a quote for the job. I heard the price and had to ask again to make sure my ears weren't playing a trick on me. Extremely fair!!! Wait...it gets better....the very next day the arborist showed up and the job was done in about an hour. He even took the extra time to fill the holes, spread some rock that was around the old bushes and clean up the area. It was the whole package. I will again say that this company is courteous, professional, prompt, the best price in Reno, and the customer service is top notch. Definitely coming back!!

Made an appointment with them and never showed up. Called and got a second appointment and called them 20 min before they were going to show up and said they could make it. Finally, someone came out to give us a quote. She walked into the yard didn’t say hello. Didn’t introduce herself. Walked over to the tree gave my husband a paper and said if you want us to do the job, just call us and left! Nope! never!! Way over priced!!

Reno Tree Service took care of a tree in my front yard. They did a great job of removing all of the old, brittle branches that might have fallen with the wind.
