I reached out to Peter earlier this year about a large project at my house. He was not the first contractor I spoke with but from day one, he was very open and honest. He has been in contact with me every day as we went through the project. We had a two story addition added on to our house and also replaced all the windows and vinly siding. Our house looks so much better now!

We recently had Great Dane Construction remove our porch and replace it with a 3-season room. We are beyond happy with it! Peter and his crew were fabulous to work with and the construction is impeccable. Everyone was respectful, knowledgeable, skilled, professional and efficient. I would highly recommend them.

Peter constructed an in-law addition for us. Admittedly the time frame that was quoted took longer than anticipated due to some unforeseen circumstances. However, Peter was easy to get a hold of and very responsive in keeping us informed. He and his crew did a fantastic job in constructing our parents a new home and Peter truly was committed to making sure we were happy with his work. We hired McLaughlin Excavation to prep an area for a new patio and regrade an unusable area of our yard. Sean did an amazing job and saved on the cost by using our existing material and only bringing in what was needed. He also made sure the rest of the yard was not impacted by the delivery trucks, keeping clean up to a minimum. I would recommend McLaughlin Excavation to anyone.

We had McLaughlin prep our yard for a patio. We ran into an issue where we needed to replace a gas line, and Sean was very helpful with digging the trench for it, and filling it back in, to the specs of the gas company. He also used the remaining dirt to help level out the yard, and cleaned up everything nicely. Sean and his crew really go the extra mile. They made sure the fence was secure for our dogs, when leaving daily and even took all the rocks that were dug up and placed them in a little wall around my garden. I was very impressed with the work ethic and professionalism of Sean and his crew, and highly recommend McLaughlin Excavation!

Sean McLaughlin and his team were great to work with! They did a lot of work for us. They did all the excavation for a new patio, walkway and stairs. They leveled and put loam down on our whole yard. Sean did all the work he promised. He was very easy to work with. He communicated his thoughts and ideas to help finish the job properly. His guys were on time and finished the project when expected. They cleaned up after the project, leaving no dirt and rock on all the surfaces in the yard. I would recommend McLaughlin Excavation to anyone needing work.

Sean was very flexible and understanding with my schedule (which was really the town’s schedule for issuing permits). Sean provided multiple options to go about the project, as well as multiple solutions (along with their pros and cons) whenever a sticky situation arose.
Sean had excellent communication, never taking more than a day or 2 to respond before and after the project, and typically minutes while actively working on the project. This, along with always having my best interests in mind is what made Sean stand out in a time when its difficult to get contractors to even call you back or show up.

We hired McLaughlin's to help us protect the stone foundation of our house in Tilton that was built into a hill. Sean was amazing helping us come up with the most affordable solution that also left us with a better and more beautiful backyard! Our new retaining wall is just perfect. They came when promised, completed the work on schedule, kept us informed throughout the project and they were sensitive to the neighbors concerns too. We couldn't be happier! If only every contractor provided such a great product and service at a reasonable price! I've already connected Sean to request a quote for another property.

Steve worked with my family and I for over a week to frame and enclose our off-grid camp in Grafton NH and we couldn't be more happy with how it came out. Steve's immense experience from rough framing to finish carpentry was just what we needed on site and leading up to the project start he was always available to help via phone, text, or email. As an architect I have very high standards for contractors and Steve surpassed all of them. I'm happy to recommend Steve and the Socon team to anyone that asks and I look forward to working again with him soon.

Steve replaced our siding (he removed the old pine siding and put up vinyl) this fall and did an incredible job. He clearly takes pride in his work and really cares about his customers. Since we liked his work and trusted him, we asked him to do several additional projects while he was here (storm doors, replacing our bulkhead door, etc.) and he was willing to do them. He also found a bunch of issues with our house after the old siding came off and was happy to take care of them. He even took our dogs out during the day while he was here if we were working long days! I really can’t recommend Steve enough. He’s a very nice guy who you can trust to do a great job. Even better, his quote was the lowest of five companies we contacted.

Steve did a awesome job on my welding shop, His quality of work and knowledge of the craft is unmatched. Even when a manufacturing problem popped up he had a solution from many years in the trade to correct it, and production continued on schedule. He's done the flooring in our home, repaired doors and trimmed out the roof. I've made deliveries to several of his jobs over the years and I get the grand tour of his work and it is always A+ very impressive. Steve is a very respectful and hardworking guy, you'll not be disappointed!

Steve from SOCON Construction is an incredibly hard worker and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure things are done the right way.
