Reviews of local pros in Laconia, New Hampshire

Good service well stocked

Got romex for half the price of lowes

Very friendly and had what I needed.

They were eager to help and had what i needed. They got me in and out quick.

Nice place to deliver if you're a semi truck driver. Just pull in head first on the Messer side. All the way to the white gate and they'll start unloading you. After that go through the white gate and around the building and you're out.
ITS TIGHT but manageable

After looking for an electrician in our area, I called M.A. Smith Electric because I liked what I saw in the reviews. I was not disappointed. Mike responded to my call within a day or two and showed up right on time for a walk through. An employee of the company came to do the work and was very pleasant and efficient. There was a delay because I had purchased the wrong item, but they came back in a couple days and finished the work. The cost for the work was very reasonable and I will definitely call them again in the future.

I've had Mike and his crew do some extensive electrical work at my office building. They've always been early to arrive at the job, late to stay when needed, and willing to work around our tenants so as to not be too disruptive. Mike & Shelli have always been very responsive in any inquiries we've had too. Great operation that we'll continue to send electrical jobs to.

I was so happy with their service....I even referred people to them....
Give them a shot

It was easy for us as a professional service to add this wonderful family owned business to our preferred network/ partnership . Mike , crew and Shelly are a pleasure to work with . Communication , fair pricing , prompt service to name a few attributes . We highly , and with conviction recommend their services knowing how happy we are and knowing their word/ ethic and professionalism will continue . Thank you !

M.A. Smith is my go to company for all our electrical work. I should start by saying they removed all existing wiring, electric panels, etc.. and rewired our 5 bedroom home. This was after we had major damage due to flooding a few years ago. Since then we have had them come back for additional work. They have wired our dock and installed a mini split system in a previous unheated and unconditioned sun room. I am sure if you have them do any electrical work you will be very happy with the outcome. Chris Sullivan

We had dedicated 20 amp circuit and an exhaust fan installed in our garage as an outlet to charge our EV-Hybrid vehicle in June of 2025. The installation went well and was quickly. The setup is working very well for charging our EV-Hybrid vehicle. We are very satisfied.

M.A. Smith Electric did a great job working on the electrical in my house. They were easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and clearly knew what they were doing. The work was done neatly and correctly, and they made sure everything was working properly before they left. They also cleaned up after themselves, which I really appreciated. Overall, I’m very happy with the work and would absolutely recommend them.

I needed an electrician, I found Mike Smith and he installed a new electrical panel at my rental property. he did a great job and was very prompt, professional and pleasant to work with, I ended up hiring him a second time to wire up and install an electric stove. I would definitely recommend his professional services to anyone needing an electrician, Alan Petitti

There are only a few amazing businesses I know of and this place is one of them. Great service amazing people and above all, quality and respectability.

Bob showed up in timely manner and did efficient, affordable work. Very pleased, would recommend to others.

Such an amazing job! They came out to my house so quickly and did a clean job, super helpful and very friendly!

I have had them come out twice and both times they were punctual and went above and beyond! I am extremely pleased with their work and will continue to use them for every electrical job needed!

The electricians did an outstanding job in moving a number of electrical outlets to different locations so that nee cabinets will be installed. They identified the best options for the transfer. I would highly recommend.

The electrician was on time, professional, courteous, and efficient. VERY satisfied with my experience from ease of making an appointment to completion of the job. Many companies don't want to bother with small jobs and charge an exorbitant price just to look at it. Not TNT! I will definitely call them for my next project. Thank you!

WOW... If I could give TNT 10 stars I would, My hats off to Troy and the folks at TNT. They came when they said they would come. They did what they said they would do. It cost less than they said it would cost.. When you need electricity call Troy.
Thank you TNT for helping me get back on line.

Bob, Mark and team have been amazing! They were so helpful in every way you would hope for when you are upgrading electrical in a gorgeous Victorian that you don't want to disrupt. Fair prices, no games and a happy transaction for all involved. They wanted to go the extra mile to make us happy. Definitely hire them and appreciate their hard work and dedication to making their customers happy! Highly recommended by us and our neighbor who continues to hire them.
