What Allenhurst customers say about local pros
-
Andy was excellent. He took the time to inspect our furnace during a pipe freeze, offering advice on how to prevent similar issues in the future.
-
Great thanks to Travis and Matt for sorting our persistent problem with ease. Highly recommended OHS for their top-notch help.
-
Five stars. Great experience with this company. Chris arrived on time, looked very professional, and knew his stuff. He gave a detailed job, explained what he did, and ensured all equipment was in good order when he left. Can't fault the service - highly recommended.
-
Anthony was super professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I'm thrilled to have met him and joined the membership program - he's a great guy!

The techs might be okay, but the office and management fell short in many areas. The communication and management from dispatch were particularly underwhelming. When you're "over capacity" due to emergency calls, it's clear that the day is already booked solid. I was initially told a tech would arrive by noon, then confirmed an appointment for 1 pm, only to receive a cancellation text at 4 pm. Later, when I tried to discuss my issues with the number left behind, I was put on hold for 5 minutes. A day later, Greg from dispatch called me to let me know they were running late for a service I never even requested. It's frustrating and disorganized.
-
David was top-notch. Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He broke down complex services into simple explanations that were easy to grasp. His suggestions for future work were spot on and really helped us understand our needs better. Kudos to him - highly recommended.

Had a great experience with the fall service today. Technicians Sebastian and Nick were both top-notch, making everything run smoothly. Overall very pleased with the service, especially since I have a contract with Oceanside, so no further questions are necessary for me.
-
Great experience with this company - the technician arrived promptly, diagnosed the issue, and explained everything in detail. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and helped me resolve the problem quickly. The service was efficient and effective, and I appreciate the peace of mind that comes with knowing my heat is working properly again.

I've been working with this company for over a decade, ever since they installed two new HVAC systems at my place back in 2015. Their technicians are skilled at diagnosing and resolving issues. When I scheduled routine maintenance for both systems last week, I was assured an appointment would be ready at 5:00pm as requested. The technician arrived on time and got to work. He discovered a minor problem that could have caused one of the heating units to shut down during a critical moment. Their service is reliable and trustworthy – I highly recommend them.

Frequently asked questions
-
Is GigoPro free to use?
Yes. Browsing businesses, reading reviews, and comparing providers is free for everyone. Business owners can create a basic listing at no cost.
-
How do you verify businesses on GigoPro?
Every profile goes through moderation before it appears in search. We check that the business is real, active, and matches the category it claims. For regulated trades, we look for proper credentials, and inactive listings are hidden automatically.
-
How do I choose the right contractor?
Start with ratings and recent reviews, then compare the services offered, location, and response time. Contact two or three providers, ask for written estimates, and compare what each quote includes — not just the bottom line.
-
Can I list my business on GigoPro?
Yes. Create a free business profile to reach local customers searching for your category. You can update your services, photos, and contact details anytime, and customers can book you directly from your profile.
-
How often is the HVAC directory updated?
Business owners update their own profiles. Our team also refreshes hub pages and removes inactive listings to keep search results current. This page, for example, is reviewed and updated monthly.
-
How often should I have my air system serviced?
At minimum, once a year — ideally a spring tune-up before cooling season and a fall check-up before heating season. Systems that run year-round, older units, and commercial systems often benefit from professional service twice a year.
-
Repair or replacement — how do I decide?
Ask each contractor for both a repair quote and an honest assessment of the unit's remaining life. As a general rule, if a repair costs more than a third of a new system, or your equipment is past its expected lifespan and breaking down repeatedly, replacement is usually the better value. Get two or three opinions before a decision this large.
-
Can companies on GigoPro handle emergencies?
Yes — many list emergency and same-day service in their profiles, with stated after-hours policies. Open the profile and check the response-time and availability information before you need it; in a real emergency, filter for companies that explicitly offer 24/7 service.
-
How much does service cost?
Costs vary by region, system type, and job — there is no honest single number. Reputable contractors provide written estimates after inspecting the system, and comparing two or three is the best way to understand what your job should cost.
-
Can I leave a review after booking through GigoPro?
Yes. After your job is done, you can rate the company and describe your experience. Verified reviews from recent jobs are exactly what helps the next homeowners in your city choose well — and what keeps listed professionals at their best.
