Tree reviews in Barrington, New Jersey

My house was badly damaged by a tree during the tornado. RT gave a fair price when another tree company estimated $11,000, RT did it for $2700. Thank you for being honest, quick, and great work!!!!

Priced right, quick, clean, professional service. 10/10 would use again

Excellent work, very reasonably priced. Cleanup also was impressive. Rob and team were professional - it was a pleasure to work with them. Highly recommend!

Ryan and his team are great. I have used them several times at several properties and the always go above and beyond to leave the jobsites clean.

Most importantly... with this type of work SAFETY is paramount. They have the right equipment to handle all jobs they come across. You can always find a cowboy in this industry who is willing to risk his life and damage to your property just to remove a dangerous tree without proper equipment/training/ or insurance.

When shopping for tree removal you should be paying closer attention to the experience of crew, safety practices, and equipment they use to accomplish the project rather than the cheapest price!

RT Tree Service has removed a number of trees for me over the years. They are always fast and very professional. Rob, the owner, always stops by afterward to make sure everything was satisfactory too. I absolutely recommend them!

Rob and his crew did a fantastic job removing a shared massive oak tree in our yard and our neighbor's yard. His crew is amazing and they did a great clean up of our yards. We highly recommend RT Tree Service.

Professional company that does great work in a timely matter. Crew is respectful of property. Had large tree and stump removed and everything was left clean with little or no disturbance to surrounding area. Also, while other companies give you a run around about proof of insurance, RT Tree Service has no issues and is fully insured. Highly recommend!

We had a large dying Oak tree that needed to be taken down that was located in a tricky spot between a fence and historic building.

RT Tree was everything you could ask for in a contractor: Great communication and responsiveness. "We'll get it done" attitude. Fair pricing and professional. Not sure why someone would bother with anyone else.

RT Tree Services did a fantastic job! They were responsive, well priced and the owner went out of his way to make sure we were happy with their work. If you need a tree guy, give Rob a call.

Rob & his team were AMAZING! They were communicative from the start, very knowledgable & always professional. All of them were polite & more than accommodating. Rob was able to squeeze us in with short notice to work around some other project timelines that we currently have planned for our house. Hands down best service & rates in the area! Would recommend to anyone.

I had 5 trees that I wanted removed. The largest an 80’ spruce, then four 60’-70’ cedars. I called RT on a Thursday morning around 10:30am, and Rob from RT’s was on site for a estimate by 1pm. I had gotten 3 written estimates, and RT Tree Service was the cheapest estimate of the bunch. I called back the very next day to schedule, and Rob returned my call within 30 seconds, and scheduled me for Tuesday July 6. Now that’s impressive, especially over the July 4 Holiday weekend. Rob’s crew started in at 7am, and by 2:30pm all 5 trees cut down, stumps ground, and debris cleaned up, and carted away. I am thoroughly impressed. This Team is phenomenal. I rate them 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On a 5 Star scale.
If you’re looking for great, affordable and dependable tree service, I recommend RT Tree Service to anyone, and everyone! Thank you Rob!!!

RT Tree Service is awesome. Provided an immediate response, had a quote and job done within a week. The price was the most reasonable of the 3 companies I called. Most importantly, Rob and his crew are professional and courteous and respectful of not only our property but also of the neighbors property. Four trees down in half a day with the stumps gone! I couldn’t believe how neat the area was. I definitely recommend RT Tree Service and plan to use again.

Rob is BY FAR the best local tree service in the area. Great rates, service and ethics, compared to couple other local companies I talked to.

I had a tree fall in one of the recent storms/state of emergency. There was also another rotting tree that I was increasingly concerned about that I figured I'd take the opportunity to get an estimate. I was pretty stressed out.

Super nice person, professional. Showed up when he said he would. Returned my calls promptly. His rates were easily the best around, that I had him take down the second tree I was worried about.

He got the work done, the NEXT DAY, so I wouldn't get screwed by another violent incoming storm. His crew worked efficiently and did a great job cleaning up. All stump/root material removed, and topsoil nicely laid out. They even cleaned up a pile of leaves and debris I slacked on getting out in the Fall!

Rob might be the most positive contractor experience I've ever had period. He feels like a real neighbor, and not just taking advantage of situation and overcharging right after the storm, like another local business in the same exact area (40-50% higher estimate to do the same work).

For any other related work, Rob is my first call. If you have an emergency situation or just planning ahead, I'd call him. I have another project to get done in couple months and he'll be it.

Appreciate your help, Rob. You turned a stressful situation into a piece of cake!

Great experience with Rob and the crew. We had several large leaning trees in the backyard that needed to come down in pieces with ropes, and a bunch of stumps ground out. Flexible with the timing and got me on the schedule within a week.

The crew was friendly, professional, thorough, could not have asked for more. They went above and beyond with the cleanup and neatly stacked a substantial pile of firewood rounds for me. Best of all, the pricing was substantially lower than my quotes from other reputable companies in the area. Would absolutely go with RT again if I need anything else removed.

Rob and his crew are truly awesome! Rob responded to my online inquiry within hours on a Sunday and came out to give us a very reasonable and no-nonsense quote to have 4 small trees removed and one very large tree trimmed and pruned. He noticed a dead tree in our neighbors yard and gave us a separate quote if my neighbors wanted it taken down as well. He was also able to work us into the schedule quickly, which was also much appreciated. His crew is outstanding. They were friendly and very professional and it was amazing to watch them climb the big tree (no spikes or cherry picker). Their clean-up was top notch. They know what they are doing and they do it very well. I have nothing but positive things to say about RT tree service and will definitely be using their services again when the time comes!

RT Tree service is great. No nonsense. They came in and got the job done. The crew was friendly. They did the work in a neat, orderly fashion. It was done on time. Rob was easy to work with through the process. I definitely recommend them for tree service. Thanks for doing a great job!

We had a large maple taken down by Rob and his team and we couldn't be happier with the entire experience. They were punctual, professional, and the quality and care was second to none. We had just done a ton of landscaping to our yard and our concern was that it would be damaged during the removal. Rob assured us nothing would get damaged and he was 100% correct. Other than a 50 ft tree missing you would never know they were their. We strongly recommend RT Tree Service. Great job boys!

RT Tree service did an amazing job. Took down 4 very large trees and trimmed up dead branches on other trees that we close to my house. Very efficient and reasonably priced. Will absolutely use them in the future.

We can't say enough great things about RT Tree Service! Rob and his amazing crew removed a very large Sycamore tree in our yard that was too close to our home. They are a well-oiled machine! We were so impressed with them. I would recommend to anyone and, in fact, already have. Rob is great to work with and he helped us a great deal! They are so efficient and they care so much about clean up too. Great company!!

RT Tree Service is top notch. I live in an old town with tons of mature trees, and we always have issues. I can’t say enough good things about this company - RT (the owner) is responsive, knowledgeable, and fair. And he doesn’t just send his crew out. He comes out to the house himself and makes sure everything is done right. I trust his judgment, and I recommend him to all my friends.

We had an old cypress split in half ready to fall on our neighbors property. RT Tree Service came out immediately to get eyes on it (roughly 6 PM, less than 15 minutes of me calling) and had the crew ready to go first thing in the morning.

They ended up removing 5 trees for less than a competitor quoted on the single tree that was ready to fall.

I strongly recommend this amazing company. Fair, professional, and extremely punctual.

Thank you RT Tree Service!
