Reviews of local pros in Belmar, New Jersey

I regret using LMB Landscraping. After 2 weeks, the new sod that his workers installed has about 90% crabgrass, and Louis is blaming me that we didn't water it enough. So, why do I have mushrooms which grow in wet conditions?? It's obvious the sod was inferior to begin with as I told him about yellow spots right after it was installed. Even two lawn experts told me that after 2 weeks, new sod should NOT get crabgrass. Louis is asking for more money to replace the sod, and I have to contact a chemical company! I paid him over $5,000 to remove existing grass from my front yard (35'x25'), install new sod, remove front shrubs, remove a tree, and install new shrubs provided and purchased by me! His workers did all the work (I must say they did a great job planting the shrubs and flowers) but Louis was not there to supervise the work or even come later to check it out even though I asked him to. When I called him and asked him about how I should water the sod, he told me to check the Internet. I checked 4 different sites and they all said the same thing for new sod....not to overwater and not to water at night. My husband and I were very diligent about watering, but Louis insisted that I had to water it morning and night and to water it excessively. I am so embarrassed with the way my lawn looks now and I'm left with the aftermath of an inferior sod. I now have to spend more money and hire TruGreen to get rid of these weeds! Louis is not a person you should do business with! He could have done the right thing to have a satisfied customer, but he didn't! I could never recommend him.

We were referred LMB through a close friend. The quality of work was exceptional and the driveway and paved front steps look beautiful. We will be hiring them again in the spring.

LMB totally transformed our backyard in 3 days. Removed old pavers, cleared out shrubs and trees, moved and repaired our shed, and laid new pavers. Hardworking, polite and courteous crew. I am extremely satisfied with the outcome.

Louis and his team were great to work with. They prepped our lawn for sprinkler installation and we'll be calling them back for more projects in the future

LMB did a terrific job for me after I was left high and dry by a scam artist. I had limited funds remaining. Louis thought over the problem and came up with a creative, stunning solution. Shortly afterwards, LMB pulled up to the house with what looked like the Army Corps of Engineers. They worked fast but brilliantly. Complete transformation! I'm very grateful.

Being in an HOA it was difficult to find a contractor who could perform 3 different outdoor jobs (as approval, insurance, etc. is needed for all, as well as the Board sign-off). All the work was terrific, no issues and so many compliments from neighbors. I would highly recommend LMB for your landscaping needs.

This company repeatedly leaves their equipment in front of our home. We have an infant and a toddler and they are constantly waking them up with loud obnoxious noises. One day they left our entire block in a cloud of concrete, the concentration of which covered both of our vehicles. Our children coughed for a long time and have had difficulty breathing since. They also routinely block in our driveway in an effort to make it difficult or near impossible to leave. We have spoken to them multiple times but the behavior continues. Do not use them. We do NOT recommend.

No show for an appointment between 3-5. No phone call. Must say it was a large job. Must be nice being that busy. If I could do no stars I would......I took a half a day at work.

Arrived on time for estimate, set date and men showed up. They took care of prepping before powerwashing and cleaning of gutters, did a thorough job and cleaned up before they left. Requested a walk around the property to make sure I was happy which I was. Ricky and especially Mario were excellent workers. I would highly recommend. Haven't gotten the bill but don't expect any surprises.

Overall excellent experience with Louis and his crew. Louis provided a beautiful design for our backyard and his team did an amazing job implementing it. In addition, they cleaned up several areas around our house without question. I highly recommend LLB Landscaping.

LMB did an outstanding job designing and installing all new bushes and shrubs in my front yard. Excellent work and execution. Highly recommend!

These guys were terrific! Hard workers. Friendly and very neat.
Excellent experience, will tell everyone we know.

We hired LMB Landscaping to do some landscaping and stone work at our house. From start to finish the staff were very professional. The crews arrived when they said they would and were quite knowledgeable in what they were doing. While on site they kept us updated on the projects progress and were very responsive. We will definitely call on LMB for our future landscaping needs.

Good firewood. Ordered a full cord and definitely got at least a full cord. Delivered same day.

SNOW REMOVAL
Hi all,
We wanted to take the time to thank LMB Landscaping LLC, Farmingdale, N.J. for the excellent service they have provided through this difficult winter. Louis Bram, the owner, always tries to be as accommodating as possible. They are exceptional and have done an outstanding job. In this and the previous snowstorm this year, LMB has come as scheduled, even with how busy they are, in a reasonable time after the snow stopped. I know how hard they are working and the guys are always professional, very polite, do a wonderful job and are careful on the property. They plowed our large driveway and shoveled all the areas at the garages, the stairs and doors. The crew will do whatever I ask, even clearing a portion of the grass for my little pup. It is such a pleasure to work with a company that is professional, reliable and does what they say they are going to do. We would recommend LMB to anyone. If you appreciate excellent, reliable service, LMB is certainly a company to contact.

The LMB team did an excellent job from start to finish. Jose and his team were extremely very professional. We were very satisfied with the work and would not hesitate to use them again.

Louis's crew did a fantastic job landscaping the sloped area around our pool. The work was completed on time and in a professional, neat, and respectful manner. I'm extremely satisfied with their work and highly recommend them for any project.

We have had LMB landscaping for many of our hard scape projects. From our driveway, patio and retaining wall for our perennial garden. He also planted the most beautiful bushes in our yard. They also thatched and airated our lawn. We won't use another company to do our work. They are the best! Always come when they say they will be there and immaculate clean up when they finish. Excellent work!

Communication was outstanding. Lou’s crew went above and beyond to make sure our plantings were exactly where we wanted them. I’ve never seen a crew accomplish so much in a short period of time. Couldn’t be more thrilled and they left the area spotless.

We have been using LMB for various projects over the last 4 years. They are attentive to detail and really help your visions come true. They also now have an amazing farm and wonderful produce and plants as well. I definitely recommend them for anything you need. They also now offer holiday items like massive pumpkins (I got a beautiful white one) and Christmas trees all at amazing prices.

Rockstars. In a total bind, freak snowstorm, fully inclined driveway covered in a thick sheet of ice, I made a post on Belmar Locals on FB. These guys answered first and in less than 2 minutes, Luis had me on the phone, scheduled, ready to go.

The next morning, guy shows up with a bobcat and was fantastic. Zero complaints, solid service, transparent pricing from the get-go. You just won a customer for life. Thank you thank you thank you

LMB Landscaping's service is professional and timely and they do great work. They are conscientious as well as they will not use harmful pesticides which is important as we are so close to the Ocean.
