I have known people who used Jake over the past decade, and so he was the first person I contacted when moving back into our house. He was responsive, came out to see the work we wanted done, and told me to expect an estimate in 2-3 days.

This was a month ago. No estimate and it has been impossible to contact him. I have tried calling, texting, emailing, and have received no response. Looking through these reviews and talking to others who had a similar experience with him, I realize this is not the first time this has occurred. I am so disappointed, because I wanted to schedule work quickly and really wanted to avoid "shopping around." If he didn't want to do the work for me, he should have given me the respect of being direct and honest.

After three months of trying to move forward with a project, I gave up due to complete communication breakdown. Text messages were repeatedly left on “read” with no response, phone calls unanswered, and attempts to continue the project were disregarded.

If communication and professionalism matter to you, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
