We a very fine and treasured silk background 7X10 Isfahan rug that our pooch had soiled in a few places. Several attempts at professionally cleaning the rug failed and, in fact, made the matter worst because they resulted in some color bleeding into the white background of the rug. Needless to say, we were VERY disappointed and gave up on having the rug cleaned again; however, every time I looked at the rug I got upset. Then I heard about Revita from some friends who had a good experience with Revita’s services. I was skeptical about having the rug cleaned by them as I was concerned that the matter would get worst. Finally, I had a conversation with their specialist and he told me that they may be able to successfully clean the rug. On a trip to NYC we took the rug with us for an examination. At Revita site, their experts looked the rug carefully then they took it back to their microscope examining area for a finer look at the rug fibers and again, reassured me that they can fix the problem. I was still skeptical but they showed us a video of how they handle delicate rugs as well as the materials that they use in the cleaning process. After that I was convinced that indeed, their process would restore the rug, so we left it to be cleaned. When the rug was returned to us, as we slowly opened it, we noticed that the previously stained spots were cleaned AND the bleeding that was the result of previous attempts at cleaning had disappeared!!! We couldn’t be happier with their work and recommend them without hesitation. We will be sending the rest of our fine rug collection to them for cleaning and service.

My son is in the Navy and served in Iraq. While he was there, he bought me a beautiful Persian rug. It is my most treasured possession. Unfortunately, my dog broke training and urinated on the rug, causing the red dye to bleed all over the intricate pattern. I drove hundreds of miles to take it to revitaRUGS in Hackensack. The rug was perfectly restored. The work was so expertly done that I can't find where it was stained. I am completely amazed and very grateful.

I found RevitaRugs in 2007. My dog had damaged an authentic Persian rug that my son sent me from Iraq. Mr. Hamid Zarei did an entire reweave of the area that was ruined. To this day, I cannot find exactly where it was repaired. I just had another Revita do another small repair on the same rug, plus a treatment to repel stains (very helpful with vegetable dye). While Mr. Zarei and I were chatting about returning the rug to my new apartment in Virginia, I told him how badly the movers had damaged the 1952 chairs that my mother bought the year before she died. Parts of them were in splinters. Mr. Zarei said he could repair them! Apparently, he studied restoration in Italy. Of course, after he salvaged my rug, I would trust him with anything he chose to undertake. The chairs are amazing! So RevitaRugs has given me back my two most treasured possessions—the rug my son sent me from a war zone and the only things I have that belonged to my mother.

I had the misfortune of having color bleed in the very center of the rug due to a liquid spill. I attempted to address this issue myself with online suggestions and home remedies, all for naught. I realized this issue would need to be professionally serviced, I contacted RevitaRugs and they promptly responded and provided me with pricing options to address the color bleed/overall cleaning. The added bonus was they came to my home for both pickup and dropoff for the rug. The process took about a week and upon looking at my rug, you could never tell there was a color bleed. I am very satisfied with the quality and timeliness of their work. Should this issue arise in the future, I know I will utilize their services once again.

I took 4 old but valuable rugs to Revita to have them cleaned and repaired. One of the rugs had a sizeable burn make in the middle, others had deteriorating fringes.

I was shocked at how perfectly Revita cleaned and repaired these rugs. It was quite remarkable, and their pricing was very reasonable.

Revita Rugs were terrific both professionally and personally. They cleaned a handmade Edward Fields rug that had been rolled up for over 30 years, that was yellowed around the edges and a mess. When they were done with it, it looked the way it did the day we bought it.
They were also the nicest people. We would never use anyone else.

I had two rugs and my living room couch cleaned and treated. After having a dog for years, you can imagine how much a cleaning was needed. I could not be happier with the results. My rugs and couch look brand new! The service was easy and fast and the entire staff was extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommended!!

I dropped off my two oriental rugs at this place when I drove down to the city for business.
They wouldn't give me a tour of the inside,but I have to admit their lobby looks too nice to be a cleaning facility for anything! They were pleasant and gave me plenty of info about my rugs. I needed fringe repair and some serious cleaning thanks to my new poppy. My rugs came out awesome. Very clean,no odors and fringes repaired. I'll definitely recommend them.

I sent an expensive custom-made rug to Revita to be cleaned and they ruined it.

They picked up the rug, which was in excellent condition, and were supposed to return it in 1 week. Without letting me know in advance it was not returned the next week. When I called to check on it, I was told that it was still wet, and it would be returned to me in another weeks’ time. They also said that the rug was in good condition.

It was returned the next week, but it was no longer in good condition. Having been wet so long the carpet had delaminated (a condition where the secondary backing of the carpet separates from the primary backing) causing the rug to ripple in numerous places.

They picked it up to repair it and promised to have it back in another week’s time. They let me know they needed to delay it’s return by a week. When it was time to return it, they again needed to delay it another week.
I asked if they could apply their Revita Wash, a stain blocker, to the rug at no charge to make up for all the delays. They agreed and confirmed that applying it would not delay the rugs return or cause it additional damage. Hamid, the owner, told me I should be appreciative of all the work that was being done at no charge to repair the rug. It was insulting to me that I should be thankful for them working to repair damages they had caused.

When the rug was returned It was severely damaged. At first, they blamed the Revita Wash which they promised would not hurt the rug, but it was more than that. It still had areas that would not lay flat from delamination, the colors had run/bleed, areas of the carpet were saturated with glue, in those areas if you touched the front of the carpet wet glue came off on your fingers, yellowing to roughly 50% of the carpet, and the carpet was sticky.

After sending the rug back in this condition they wanted to work on it again. I asked if they had they not already done their best efforts but got no response. I have no confidence that they could repair all the damage since they were not able to repair it in the 5 weeks they’d had it already.

Shirzad, the owner’s son, says that they clean a lot of rugs and sometimes they get ruined. I want to replace the rug with the same one. He offered to pay roughly 25% of the replacement cost. He refused to provide their insurance companies information and said if I want more than what he offered sue him.

revitaRUGS did an AMAZING job getting a difficult stain out of my carpet. In full disclosure, it took longer than expected, but I appreciated their thoroughness in making sure the job was done right. I had two viscose rugs that needed to be cleaned. They had yellow spots and the fiber was hard. I called revitaRUGS, and in less than a week, they cleaned and delivered the rugs back to me.
They are now white and soft like the first day I bought them. They have a wonderful customer service and their delivery team is extremely nice and helpful.
If you have a viscose rug, I strongly recommend to have it professionally cleaned only from revitarugs!!!

I have used the service a number of years ago and when it came to clean the rugs and carpet again, I did not search for a cleaner, but because of my positive past experience, I called revitaRUGS. The fellows who came to do the job were qualified and did a perfect job, just like I remembered from 4 years ago. Actually, this time around I also had them clean the upholstery on my 2 chairs. The bottom line, if you want a timely and most importantly quality job, call them. I do not know how their pricing compares to others since I did not search around.

I had an old Persian Rug that needed repair, as the fringes were ruined and it had not been cleaned for a very long time. It is a rug that comes from my family, so I was very attached to it and I was concerned as I had tried to have it repaired two years ago by another company but they did a terrible job. A friend recommended to me Revita Rugs. They did an incredible job – the rug now looks like new, the fringes are very well done and the cleaning job was outstanding.
