Constraction reviews in Cedar Grove, New Jersey

The service kept my gutters clear, allowing water to flow freely even in torrential downpours.

They demonstrated excellent professionalism when working on my property, clearly taking pride in their finished result.

I desperately needed assistance with my phone line issues, which were disrupting both my work and my kids' online learning. After calling several electricians, I finally got a hold of Ambrosini and Sons, who were the only ones to answer the phone. They offered to help me troubleshoot the problem over the phone, which was a huge relief, and they did so at no extra cost. Their helpfulness and expertise greatly alleviated my stress - thank you for your service.

The crew did a great job, thanks for that. It's reassuring to deal with a company where you can pick up the phone and know they'll get it right. The new generator works like a charm - no complaints here.

The job was done efficiently and effectively, leaving the roof looking spotless with the added bonus of clean gutters.

The job was spotless and the roof now looks almost like new again. They also fixed some damaged shingles as part of the service.

I was pleased with the expertise displayed by the roofers. The job was completed efficiently and thoroughly.

Great job by these roofing pros who delivered top-notch service and fantastic results after renovating my roof.

Helpful to get a roofing quote before renewing my insurance policy, it gave me an idea of which insurers offer better rates.

The roof tiling turned out spotless, with only a handful of damaged shingles touched up without any issues. The crew's level of expertise and courtesy was top-notch, leaving the area tidy and well-maintained afterwards.

My old roof was a disaster - now it's completely transformed. The new stuff has made my place soundproof and really comfy in this heat.

Dobbs Construction is the absolute best out there. We hired them for a very large renovation of our 1907 home. There were many challenges, and Everton and Nick and their team stuck with us the whole time. We never had a single days delay that was due to them. This impressed me greatly because the work stopped due to permits and the architect, but Dobbs was always ready to resume construction when we were ready. They did a beautiful job. Our renovation included complete gut of 80% of the house. They added a primary bedroom and bathroom on 3rd floor. Renovated the 2nd floor bathroom and made a new half bath on the 1st floor. Rebuilt the stairs. Added central heating and A/C and completely re-designed the first floor layout. They also built gorgeous custom bookshelf (pictured) and units with dressers to fit under the eaves in the attic. They were honest, professional, respectful and even fun to work with. We highly recommend! We wouldn't call anyone else for our renovation needs.

Everton Dobbs is a diamond in the rough. He and his team helped us with a huge project this spring - completely re-doing our front porch, gutting and refinishing two stairwells, adding a laundry closet, building a new closet, and generally catching everyone else’s mistakes. While we hired them just for construction, I would definitely bring him in sooner next time. He was prompt, professional, communicates clearly, and helped us make good choices on finer details and materials. When permits were challenging, he stayed on top of it and kept us in the loop every step of the way. Most importantly, he really takes pride in the quality of his work and went the extra mile to make things look nice.

Dobbs Construction did an outstanding job on a full gut renovation of 6,000 sq ft of commercial space for us, transforming it into a beautiful upscale environment. The project included everything from electrical demo and replacement of a 3-phase system, to plumbing, framing, sheetrock, stairs, flooring, and painting. They came in after another contractor was fired for poor workmanship, and the difference was night and day.

Dobbs was professional, trustworthy, and committed to making sure every detail was handled properly. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail speak for themselves—I strongly recommend them. If you’d like to see their work firsthand, stop by Brivado Cigars in Orange, NJ.

Their attention to detail, genuine care for their work, and trustworthy approach made the entire process worry-free. Everton and his team went above and beyond to exceed expectations, delivering incredible results while being professional, kind and leaving the site spotless. I cannot recommend Dobbs Construction enough and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my home.

Hello everyone.
We owe our beautiful home to Everton and his amazing team. We're first time homeowners, and after finally getting out of the rat race of trying to find a home in early 2024, we feared that we might have bitten off more than we could chew given the vast amount of work that our recently-purchased home needed.
We spent months interviewing different contractors, and after being stood up in different ways (contractors simply not showing up to scheduled meetings, proposals that never arrived, etc.) we finally met Everton and his team and knew he was different. His punctuality, honesty, and willingness to go beyond truly made him stand out. If Everton said something would be done on a certain date, or by a certain time, you could rest assured that his word or promise would be kept.
We underwent a vast gut renovation of our home, with both our first floor and basement being completely gutted down to the studs, totally remodeled and re-architected, and we managed to stay on budget and move into the home of our dreams. I'm attaching some before and after pictures to this message to show the vastness of the work. We've been living in the home post-construction for close to 7 months and the house still looks brand new.

I HIGHLY recommend Everton and his crew for any general contracting needs you may have!
