Mike was unprofessional with us. He was suppose to complete some work for us and postponed three times. Always an excuse for why he couldn’t be there and always would postpone that same day hours after he was suppose to be there. Leaving us waiting. The third and final time he didn’t think it would be ok to give us a courtesy call and explain that he wasn’t coming at all. Left him various missed calls, voicemail box is full, and even a text message. No response. Wasted our time and now we had to start our search all over to get the job done.

Michael provided an estimate and set the installation date but then postponed the installation by 3 days first and then ended up cancelling on me altogether without an explanation. He also wanted to keep a part of my deposit that he spent on materials, but ended up returning all of it. He wasted my and his own time and behaved unprofessionally.

I've used Michael's service several times since moving to NJ four years ago on various jobs, including light-fixture replacement; outlet installations and repair; and tracing down the source of a bad circuit in my house. I keep asking him back because of his skill, reliability, promptness, and neatness. He is also persistent and cheerful when a job turns tricky or complex. I highly recommend him.

If you’re doing research to find an electrician, stop your search and call these guys! As the reviewer before me said, if there was a 10 star option Michael would easily deserve it. Super friendly and informational and his rates are unbeatable. Took his time presenting us with our options, answered any and all questions, and when we decided on one he went into detail explaining everything he was doing and why he was doing it. Really made us confident we knew how the new wiring worked and the safety features that it had. Overall awesome experience and if we ever have another electric job we won’t hesitate to call him back.

1. Extra charge on site
We first met on 12/27/19 and agreed on a quote and he got a deposit check on the same day. He collected the remainder check on 01/09 with only partial work done due to elbow issue. When he begun to do the job on 01/16/20, he asked for extra charge due to panel size difference and extra wire need. I'm surprised that an experienced electrician won't notice panel size difference and potential need for extra wire when we first met.
2. Punctuality
Initially we scheduled for 01/03, then on the morning of 01/03 he called and postponed to 01/09 due to elbow issue. On 01/09, he came and did part of the job, collected the remainder check and left (still haven't told us about the extra charge), the postponed to 01/16. One week later, on 01/16 he finally had time to finish our panel changing, we scheduled to meet at 9am, he showed up at 11am, said he was helping his neighbor.
3. Unprofessional behavior
I refused the extra charge, offering him two options: complete the job with less extra charge or return our money and we'll find another electrician. He just left all the wires exposed and power off and left!!!!
We had to find another electrician coming tomorrow and fix everything. All the electrician I called this afternoon were shocked that he just left our house power off!

Michael at First Wave Electrical did a fine job removing old knob and tube wiring and replacing it with wiring that is up to code. I would recommend him to any homeowner needing a licensed electrician. His pricing is fair; his work is quick, efficient, and complete; and he did an excellent job. I would give him TEN STARS if I could. If you need electrical work done in your home, talk to Michael first. You will be happy you did. Kate M.

I knew April showers bring May flowers, but what I wasn't expecting was water in my main electrical panel! In a panic I called Jason and sent him some pictures, and he immediately outlined what he suspected the issue and was what the anticipated repairs (including time and cost estimates) could entail. We immediately scheduled a timely appointment. The team arrived on time and worked efficiently and professionally. They explained the issues they found and the solutions they employed, reassuring me that the problem was fixed once and for all. I love the Klein Brothers and highly recommend them for all of your electrical needs. They are my first and only call!

My electric ranger was not getting 220v so I need an electrician. I found Jason Klein from google search. To be honest I was a bit suspicious when I read the overwhelming positive online reviews about the company. There is no way more than 300 customers almost all gave 5.0 rating. After having his company finishing the repair, I became one of them.
I left a voicemail at 6:09am and received a text response 6:10am. He was able to send someone out the same day. He also texted the service fee upfront which I thought was reasonable. Turn out my old house circuit breaker is obsolete and need more work. Again Jason gave me a reasonable estimate and finished the job on the same day.
Jason was very easy to reach throughout the process. I wrote this review only because I am happy with the service. He did not ask for good reviews and I don’t usually write review.

I used this company for the first time and they are great! They installed two timers and repaired an outlet. This was not a big job for them but they treated it as if it was. Jason's communication is quick and clear. The employees are professional and courteous. It was truly a pleasure working with them and I will certainly call on them again with any electrical needs in the future.

Jason and his team were a pleasure and easy to work with. Jason was very responsive via phone / text and was open and honest about pricing and part costs. His team upgraded a 30 amp generator inlet to a 50 amp and did all the requisite wiring and part replacements. Would definitely put them at the top of my list for my electrical work going forward!

A team came to my house a few days later and fixed the problem (or so we both thought). However, there was another latent issue and Albrid came out today and identified and fixed the issue. Jason Klein was recommended to us by a relative who had used his services and was delighted with the work. My husband and I had the same terrific experience on our generator switch and light switch installation project. Jason and Stephen are exceptionally responsive and are terrific communicators. They took the time in the run up to the job to consult with us thoroughly by email and phone and they made sure our questions were answered. Following completion of the job they made sure everything met our expectations and satisfaction and they offered their availability for questions about the operation of our generator switch at any time in the future. The work was performed when promised, at the price quoted and very efficiently. The workers were terrific and the clean up after the job was perfect. We will be repeat customers.

Jason Klein Electrical installed recessed lighting in 5 areas of my condo. It came out fantastic and has transformed my space! I could not be happier with the work and the service provided. We all know having contractors working in your home can be an inconvenience and a frustrating experience. This was the complete opposite. Communication with Jason was smooth and informative from the start and until the very end. Permit process was quick and easy. The installers, Viktor and Nate, were excellent - very thorough, meticulous, conscientious, respectful and all the important qualities you want from your crew. They carefully covered all furniture, moved anything that was in their way and did a great job with clean up. I am a little far from the area this company services, however they came out of their way to do this project for us - which is much appreciated. They even disposed of my old fixtures, which I had them remove. I would highly recommend them for any and all of your electrical needs. Companies that operate in this fashion and provide a superior level of service at competitive industry rates are extremely difficult to find, which is unfortunate. This one is a keeper and I will use them again, for sure!

We had a fantastic experience with Jason Klein Electrical! They were extremely communicative throughout the process, letting us know estimates and timelines quickly. They were able to finish our work (fixing some light fixtures, adding outlets, and fixing up wiring in our boiler room) quickly and efficiently, and everything was set up in an organized and professional manner. I first used Jason's team in the summer of 2022 to put an outlet in a coat closet (for Dyson charging) and install dimmers on our downstairs overheard lighting. Just this past week, I had his team come out again to replace the exhaust fan in our downstairs guest bathroom.

In both instances, Jason and his team were a complete pleasure to work with. The team is super responsive, quick to give a comprehensive quote, and the work is excellent. Amazing company to work with. Jason answered all my questions and ensured his priority for us, as we had no WiFi at home. I initially called his company in the evening at 6pm because I was not able to reset the tripped plug. They came out the very next day and assessed the reason behind it thoroughly and informed me of everything in layments term. We were in a situation where the control panel box was prone to fire hazard. Jason took the action very quickly, by submitting for permit the same day and within a week he sent out a crew of 4 people to completely change our electrical panel. The pricing was very reasonable, the crew was knowledgeable and worked round the clock without taking a break and finished the entire work within one day. I can’t say enough about this company. Glad I found them!

Can’t recommend Jason Klein Electric enough! My business is in a commercial building and any time we have an issue, they are my go to electricians! Our tech, Albrid, was amazing today! On time (early actually), super professional, efficient, and cleaned up as if he was never here! Another great experience, and I won’t ever have to find another electrician again!

Phone calls and texts were responded to very quickly. Jason and his staff were extremely curteous and professional. They were on time and did an outstanding job completing the work. I will definitely be using them again for all of my electrical needs. If you use this company you will not be disappointed!
