I called last week to inquire about getting some limbs and brush picked up from the curb. Whoever answered the phone seemed almost surprised, like they were expecting a call from someone else. They rushed me off the phone saying they’d call me right back. A few minutes later, I got a text asking to see photos of what I needed cleared. I immediately texted the photos and information...no response. It’s been a week and still nothing.

Thankfully others were more responsive and I’ve since had the brush cleared, but if you’re looking for a quick, professional response, go elsewhere.

Be Ware! John/JJ Treetops LLC has NO PHYSICAL address. I tried to complain to New Jersey BBB, but they only communicate with the company that has actual physical address. So I decided to tell you my nightmare before you become the NEXT VICTIM! He FAILED to give me the contract with all promises and supporting documentations. Since I have a pressure from my tenant that his neighbor complained about the tree, I let him come to my rental property after he sent me an email explaining that he will cut all big limbs as per our agreement. He cut only one limb and left with the money that I gave to my tenant. In my absence, he did NOT even inform me that his finished the job and let me inspect. Instead, he tricked my tenant to give him the full payment amount and left unfinished work. I will discuss this matter with an attorney for legal action. I will let you know what happen then. Please TRUST my word. DON'T be his next victim. Avoid him at all costs!

Please don't use this company. They never told me what all of their services were. They dug the tree stump up but left it a mess and told me clean up was extra, although they came in a small SUV. Where were they going to stick the clean up? Their machine left a oil/gas type stain on my sidewalk and I live in a homeowner's association, where they will most likely make me remedy the situation. Make sure you get them to print you out a receipt for services done, which is where my mistake is. GET A RECEIPT! I am an older guy who cant do much cleanup myself, which is why I called for a professional, which they are not. They got mad when I asked them if this was how they were going to leave it. By the way, the little they did do, they were huffing and puffing. Now I see why they do as little as possible.

This company did an amazing job! Quick and easy. After a tropical storm the other week our tree fell down in the backyard over the fence. I called other places to see estimates, some places weren’t available for over a week which is understandable, then majority of the places said they wouldn’t be able to cut it down till end of August... end of August LOL. So my back yard is supposed to look like a mess for a month? But anyways, I found this company, they immediately picked up. The guy to my surprise said he would be able to come down the same day and check it out, which he did. The next day they came over and cleared the tree out. They did an incredible job, and I’ll be recommending them to everyone I know!

Very professional team. The job was done as quoted. The job was performed without causing any unnecessary damage to properly. I also had circumstances that required them to remove branches thru my home because of lack of rear access and they handled it with no problems.. And the most important thing is that John gave me a price that was better than any price I had gotten from anyone. I never write reviews but when a guy gives you a great deal you owe it to say something..

I called JJ Treetops to look at the trees on my property and give an estimate on trimming, tree health, and so on. John responded to my request quickly, and was happy to come to my property for an estimate. He showed up on time, and efficiently evaluated what needed to be done. He probably was here 10-15 minutes, and that was absolutely enough time for him to review everything and give a price. He shared a written quote with me as well as his insurance information WHICH YOU SHOULD ALWAYS VERIFY! Takes 5 minutes. I accepted John's quote, and gave my neighbors a heads up WHICH YOU SHOULD ALWAYS DO because that's just polite.

He was able to come a few days later, his crew showed up on time on the dot. I showed them what needed to be done, and they started getting set up. John arrived shortly after, gave the crew their instructions, and the work began. The crew was efficient, polite, and insisted on making sure I was happy with the work. They cleaned everything, and my yard was left exactly as they found it.

I'm not a tree expert, so all I can say is everything looks more "tree-like" rather than bushes which is what I was going for. Everyone was easy to work with, and I am happy with what was done.
