Found this fence company for custom gate for my driveway-lady answered was extremely rude from the first word out of her mouth then she accused me of lying about driving up there-I quote her "no way they did not let you in the yard your lying"- NO coming from 280W the yard is on the left there is a play area across the street--houses next door boarded up, he whole front is fenced off with removal fencing there is a bench by the front door, African American gentleman taps on a hand written metal sign at the left side and told me to call that number to talk to someone!- NEED ANYMORE DETAILS THAT I WENT THERE TO PLACE AN ORDER! Disgraceful in this day and age with the economy as it is to not treat paying customers with respect! Beware if you expect to get a cheerful helpful customer service from this place! Hey they call paying customers LIARS!

Very happy with Academy Fence. We live in Florida and found the website easy to order from and our purchased supplies came in a timely manner. S&H wasn't outrageous compared to other businesses too. Quality of the materials was better then expected with very limited flaws ( if any ) within the fence. We were worried by the negative reviews to order from this company, but we found that as long as you order and do the project yourself its fine. We now have a beautiful out door animal enclosure built with the fencing supplies from Academy Fence.

Eddie and Duane were fantastic! They were professional and friendly and the fence looks great! They even managed to keep my garden from being damaged during the process! I would definitely recommend academy fence!

I have been waiting here since 6:30 am. I was told at 7 am that I will be unloaded by 7:30 it's one hour past and still don't know when I'll be unloaded. I saw horrible reviews and thought it was just some people having a bad day, I came and experienced it myself. This is a horrible place. As a local driver we pick loads and run, deliver quickly and move to next. This is not a good place for a truck driver who wants to do another load, it's good for someone coming to have a sleeper birth. Good luck if you show up here. With 53ft trailer the address they give you is not the unloading place. You will be unloaded at a different location. Again, good luck

Academy Fence Company is a great company to work with on a new fence. Eddie and Duane installed and did an amazing job. We will definitely work with these guys in the future should we decide on another fence on the other side of our property.

5 weeks before our wedding we decided to redo our backyard and add a fence to our driveway. The Academy team was responsive and was able to get out to us within a day. When the project had to be staged because of some of the other works going on, they were super flexible and came back in a week to finish everything. We are so excited to have this project behind us way in advance of our big day. Now we can focus on the planning the big bbq.

Eddie and George came by today and perfectly installed our fence and 2 gates. They were prompt, professional workers who even helped out our other contractors with cement removal as part of the fence install. I cannot recommend academy enough, especially Eddie and George.

These guys are the absolute best! Not only are they incredibly nice, but the thoughtful way in which they approach the job to ensure they are providing the best outcome and service is a hard thing to find these days. They are efficient and their work is beautiful. We could not be happier with our new fence and would recommend them to anyone.

I had a wonderful experience with both Lou's at Academy Fence Company. They were congenial, nice on the phone, prompt about sending me a bid and communicating what they would do to repair my fence. I called to have my fence repaired and the next day the work was completed.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing help with fencing...OH I forgot to mention...VERY reasonable prices as well.

I can't say enough good things about Academy Fence especially the guys who built the fence today, Eddie and Martin. Eddie and Martin were fantastic workers; efficient, knowledgeable, friendly. They worked quickly and left the yard cleaner than they found it.

Owner just tried to pull a fast one. Quoted me in writing based upon my description of job. After site visit quoted 2x original estimate. Spent 5 minutes at house and then sent quote for work we never discussed. If you don't want job, just say so.

Strange situation as I really liked him on phone and seemed to be a straight shooter.

I have a small backyard in a tight area in Jersey City. Neighbors to all sides. This wasn't going to be an easy job on top of keeping my neighbors from losing it. I can't say enough about the work George and Eddie did. True craftsmen. The fit and finish is amazing. AND the small details that I mentioned during the original estimate were all covered without having to ask a second time. It's almost as if the new fence just fell from the sky right into place. George and Eddie were sensitive to the flowers and bushes and worked around them carefully. I just checked my neighbors yard and they cleaned up and put everything back. From start to finish; Above and Beyond. There wasn't a moment that I didn't feel taken care of. The highest of recommendations.

A few years ago a Berkeley Hts fence company did a bad repair of our split rail fence. On the recommendation of my gardening crew I called Academy to do the repairs properly. Lou Jr came out quickly for an estimate and then Eddie and George came to make the repairs. They did a very good job fixing the fence and cleaning up afterwards. Even better, both men were very jovial and a lot of fun to talk to as they worked. They provided great entertainment for my 2 year old grandson who was visiting at the time. We wish we would have called them initially when the fence began to deteriorate. Recommend highly.

The staff at Academy Fence Company was very helpful and timely when it came to providing information and resources to getting my fence put up for my local business. Our job in Edison started out with a few hiccups, but Acadmey held true to their reputation and addressed the issue promptly and professionally. The final product has well exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend - the installers (Eddie and George) were fantastic. Outside of just being really good guys they care about the quality of their work and made sure that my 100ft fence was level and perfectly assembled. The entire experience was quick and painless.

Super fast service. With hardware cloth being more difficult to find during this pandemic, i had to turn to ordering online. I no longer live in NJ, so i had to have my roll of 1/2 inch hardware cloth shipped to Louisiana. I called and spoke with Donna before I ordered to make sure they had it in stock. She was so friendly and incredibly helpful. My ordered shipped in the 3-5 business day window. I got email confirmation at 4 pm CST Wednesday, that it shipped By 4:40pm I had an email from UPS saying it would arrive the next day-to LOUISIANA!! I was skeptical, but sure enough, 4 pm CST. Thursday, I had my 100 ft. roll of hardware cloth on my porch within 24 hours! Unbelievable and so nice to have this transaction go smoothly! I definitely recommend Academy Fence-whether you are local or not!

It was a small job -- a new fence post and gate -- but the folks at Academy were great to deal with. I called Tuesday morning and Neil arrived to do the estimate that afternoon. The work was done by Thursday at noon and Duane and Eddie were total pros. Can't ask for more!

Had a large project installing both aluminum and black chain link fencing around my property. Did an excellent job; Eddie led the crew and was extremely personable and professional. For any decision points or questions, he asked for my input - the majority of which I simply deferred to his expertise and was very happy with the results; very professional. Eddie and Duane came out to install a board-on-board fence in our yard. They were prompt and walked us through the installation and different options. They also came up with a creative and fantastic solution for a relatively steep hill on the property.
