This company is terrible at communicating! My driveway has been torn up for over 2 months, no one calls you back. Finally, we were told they were coming and no one showed up. It’s now 2 days later and still nothing. The owner and his mom are nice but no one communicates. If they would just have the courtesy to reach out and let customers know what’s going on and that they’re not forgotten. Hopefully they do a good job, and hopefully I’m paved before it snows. You can’t snow blow a rocky driveway

Great. Everything looks amazing and get a lot of compliments. Michael is very knowledgeable and helped recommend the best pavers to go with. Cindy is very sweet and helpful as well with getting everything we needed to complete the job. Will definitely use for future projects.

The guys did such an amazing job on my patio and driveway. Owner was very friendly and kind, really accomodating because my husband changed his mind a couple times...lol. Rates were so reasonable compared to the quotes we got. Everything was cleaned up and they seeded along the edge without being asked. Highly recommend.

I thought I had chosen a reliable company to take up my blacktop driveway and pave a new driveway. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!. I have been waiting since June 1st, 2018 to have my driveway paved. Cindy, the mother of Michael the owner, had no problem with picking up the deposit which was a little more than half of the cost of the job. They came and ripped up my old driveway and it has been nothing but excuses ever since on why its still not done.
I'm supposed to receive a call any day now with a date, but we shall see. Cindy told me it would be done no later then the end of this month.
It's really sad how this is how they treat their customers.
Praying they didn't take our money and run.
So my advice to you is STAY AWAY!!!!

Tomasso Contracting has done quite a bit of work for us--all of it top notch: paver walkway and patio (we get compliments on both all the time), new stoop (zero issues since), and repaved garage floor (even and smooth). All work is neat and aesthetically excellent. Fair prices as well.

We have a decent sized back yard and thought about doing a patio area for years. Not knowing much about how patios are built, the price range we should be looking for, or the quality we should expect, we started doing some research. After a few calls we started getting estimates. The first three sounded good; we can do this without taking the steps down; we won’t tear up the concrete, just go over it; etc, etc. Then Mike Tomasso from Tomasso Contracting Inc came out. I already had an idea what I wanted to hear based on the prior contractors but Mike took detailed measurements and gave us the full picture about what should be done. Yes we could leave the stairs attached but going around the pillars wouldn’t look as good. Yes his team could leave the existing concrete in place but one day you may start to see a line where the concrete ends underneath the pavers. And finally, “no matter who does it, make sure you get that concrete removed. It sunk, holds a puddle by the foundation and could cause issues if it hasn’t already.” After he left my wife asked what I thought and I told her that it felt like he was the first contractor that was 100% honest and transparent about everything. We had two more contractors scheduled but after Mike came by we cancelled the last two appointments and went with Tomasso Contracting. Once we let him know we wanted to move forward with the project everything moved fast. Like any truly family owned business, Mike put me in contact with his wonderful mom Cindy to arrange the financing and finalize the contract. (we did choose to pay some upfront but 0% APR for 18 months can’t be beat) Mike stayed in contact with us about the color schemes and type of Cambridge Pavers within our budget all while Cindy kept us informed about the financial aspects during the entire project. When the work started his team worked fast and extremely efficient. It wasn’t hard to tell they knew what they were doing and everyone on the team knew their role. If they couldn’t get out one day because of the weather, they stayed late the next to make up for it. When the project started to come together that’s when the 20+ years of experience and creative imagination of Tomasso Contracting started to emerge. The color scheme we chose didn’t exactly make the area “pop” once it was laid down. And on top of that, the sitting wall we wanted sort of cut off an area of our yard. So, Mike and his Foreman, Andreas, put a couple ideas together on site and ran them by us. Darker perimeter stone to really make the edges stand out and an open wall concept to make the “closed off” feeling disappear. On top of that, they made a double edged square in the middle of the patio just to jazz it up a little. When they finished it looked better than we ever expected.

I say all of that to say this: If you want an honest assessment and excellence work using quality material, save yourself the hassle of searching for a contractor and give this company a call. We are extremely satisfied with the work they have done and are already planning on doing our driveway, walkway and front stairs with them in the near future. Hired Tomasso Contracting to install a concrete patio. Job came out beautiful. The workers were professional hardworking and courteous. We recommend them to everyone.

I enlisted the help of Tomasso Contracting to do the following work:

- Replace my front walkway
- Remove a walkway in front of a garden area so that we could expand the garden
- Completely replace a cracked "side porch" made of cement with 2-3 steps on either side
- Construct a paved walkway along the left and right side of our yard to prevent our dogs from digging (and ground hogs from entering).

This was a large amount of work, and I can say that from start to finish Michael and his crew were communicative, professional, and highly skilled. I will add pictures later, but the end result looks fantastic, and we have received many compliments.

Across all of the projects we used Olde English blocks and Brick Alley with Armorte that had a light heather gray for the main walkway, and were bordered by a deep charcoal color.

I think they got all of the work done in a week or so, not counting a few days in between where it was raining.

Just to reiterate, the work looks amazing, and I would be happy to speak with anyone regarding the experience.

For those who left negative reviews, I think there was some sort of miscommunication (or you're a competitor leaving false reviews). Whenever there was a problem I called either Cindy or Michael, and they got back to me within a few hours.

Michael was very honest and straightforward, and proud of his work.

Tomasso contracting did a very large concrete driveway/apron and Belgian block curbing for our emergency squad, they did a great job, there were a few small issues that they took care of very quickly without delay. Will use them again if the need arises.

The Tomasso Family did an excellent job on our driveway. Mike was extremely knowledgeable and hands on with his workers. We love the outcome and plan on using them again in 2021.

I found the Tomasso Contracting after requesting recommendations from my community Facebook group for hardscaping in my backyard. Based on all the responses, Tomasso had the most recommendations and likes. After getting a few different quotes, I happily went with Tomasso over their flexibility, honesty and fair pricing, professionalism and insightful recommendations. The team is professional, kind and efficient and I couldn’t be more pleased with the work they did on my 20x30 patio so much so I just contracted a second job with them for my walkway. I called to get an estimate and was greeted by a very nice, warm, and welcoming woman. She was very professional and we had a good conversation unrelated to the estimate. Cindy kept me informed on every step of the process. The work was completed in a timely manner and the pricing was great. I am very satisfied with the quality of the work. I had a concrete driveway done in October 2022. It was a good price for the size and all that I wanted done. However, with the snow that we had this past January 2024 wasn't much but my concrete started to crumble in places that were covered in snow(curb) as well as the driveway. I communicated it to Mike and he said he would come by but never came out to look at it. Each time I sent him a text, they have gone ignored.

We called about 6 different contractor to do a double wide concrete driveway and Tomasso was the only one that gave us such a great price. Michael's men were at our home early morning to something after 5 and were very polite. We were having some issues with the permits and between Cindy and Micheal they resolved them. I cannot express how happy we are from beginning to end.

Mike Tomasso did an excellent job installing our paver patio. He even suggested ways in which we could make the patio even better by adding a sitting wall. All the work was done on time and on budget. We also have used Tomasso to put in a new driveway and also for sidewalk replacement. We are very satisfied with the work that he has done for us over the years.
