We had house renovation and failed electric inspection. Therefore, we hired Stanley Electric to fix the problem. Mr. Stanley and his crew arrived promptly and worked about more than 9 hours to get job done. They were efficient and courteous. Because they ran new electric wires from one unit to another unit, they have to break garage ceiling. After we passed city electric inspection, Mr. Stanley sent his crew to my house gain and spent about 4 hours to fix my garage ceiling. We are more than happy about their job, and would recommend to my friends and relatives!

Stanley Electric installed a generator transfer switch and fixed some faulty wiring in our master bath. Job was done on time, neatly, and completely. When I couldn't find the key to my generator he returned a week later after I informed him new one came in the mail. We got generator up and running and tested all the circuits in the house to make sure heat, lights, and proper outlets were hooked up. I highly recommend them and could not be happier with job performed.

Bruce and his team were really great and reasonably priced, they replaced all my electrical panels in my 3 family house in one day, which was a really big job because of how old the house was, very professional, and efficient, I would recommend them to anyone looking to have any electrical work done. I also found a problem that some other lights were not working (not associated with the service upgrade) called Stanley back and they came right over and after some extensive troubleshooting found a bad outlet in the 1st fl. apt. that knocked out power to all the lights on the 1st fl. porch and basement steps, they corrected the problem within a couple of hours and all is now well with my upgraded electrical service.

We just recently had our whole house renovated and used Stanley Electric. All I can say is that dealing with Bruce and his crew was an absolute pleasure. Not only does Bruce keep me up step by step, but his crew are super clean, knowledgeable and respectful. This is a true professional company and I wouldn't hesitate to refer them to anyone. We needed a bunch of small items repaired quickly as part of inspection report from a real estate sale. One of the items mentioned on the inspection report was knob and tube wiring. I called Stanley Electric and the next morning they sent over a team that fixed everything in a little over an hour. They did a thorough examination for the Knob and Tube wiring and thankfully none was found. I needed a team that could handle the small jobs from the inspection report and if needed the large job of knob and tube remediation if needed. Stanley Electric was the right place to call. Stanley Electric helped upgrade the electrical of our 100 year old house in NJ that we purchased in mid-2020. They switched out our electrical panel (an old PushMatic panel probably from the 1950-1960s that had no space for new circuits) to a new 200 amp service and modern panel with space for 40 circuits). In addition, we have used them since to wire some new circuits back to the new panel and to add/replace old outlets.

Overall, I would highly recommend them to any homeowner in need of professional electrical work in northern New Jersey. Bruce, the owner was very responsive and quick to get us quotes, explain the service options in detail, and always had someone out at our property in a fast amount of time. The professional value at an affordable price point was great, and I never felt over-priced or cheated with the high quality of work that was done. Estimates were very prompt and well explained. Stanley Electric has since become our goto electrician, and I 100% trust them to help keep the "lights on", and safely; and to serve me and my family's electrical needs well into the future.

I can't recommend Stanley Electric highly enough! Bruce discovered that we had a significant and potentially dangerous electrical issue in our home. He was very thorough and cautious in assessing the issue and actually rearranged his schedule the next day to have it taken care of. The job took about 7 hours, during which a few other issues were discovered. He promptly informed me of them and provided counsel on how to proceed. Bruce provided updated estimates as the job changed so I knew very quickly what each phase would cost. His employees were professional and competent and I felt comfortable leaving the house several times while they were there. Our issues were fixed and, although the invoice was understandably sizable, it was reasonable. I didn't mind paying it for the quality and expediency of the work and to have such a big issue taken care of so well.

We got service for installing an EV charger and updating some outlets in our kitchen that were not up to code, and we are very happy with how it all went.

The scheduling was fairly quick (less than 2 weeks between my reaching out and the service date) and at 8am sharp the guys showed up.

They were polite and friendly and clearly cared about doing a job that passed inspection and would look good, as opposed to just ticking boxes on the to-do list in the fastest, cheapest way possible.

If we ever need electric work done again we will go right to Stanley Electric.

I hired him and his team Dave and Miguel to do the electric work on my pool , they were punctual and very professional at all times .Stanley Electrics customer service has been responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Needed the services of a top quality electrician. Finding Stanley Electric was striking gold. Replied promptly to my request for an estimate on serious grounding issues in a 4 family building. In a short time two employees arrived and completed the job. Price and quality of work was excellent. Friendly employees who explained what was needed and answered all questions.
Preparing for sale of this building the town requirements added more tasks. These were taken care of with the same care and expertise shown by each of his employees during the previous visit. Job site was nicely cleaned up after each assignment was completed.

Stanley Electric is the most professional electrician service I’ve used over the years. The owner Bruce is extremely knowledgeable, does what he says he’s going to do, and goes the extra mile to ensure his customers are happy.

He installed a stand alone generator at my house, which had defect from the factory. He personally drove over an hour to my house and spoke with the manufacturer for over 3 hours until he was able to rewire the generator that was installed improperly at the factory.

He could’ve easily had me get a service technician from the manufacturer to rectify the issue but he instead fixed the issue himself.

This is my second review because Stanley Electric did two separate jobs for me at different times. This review is for the job they did for me in April and its long overdue for posting. They did an AMAZING job again. They installed recess lighting and changed out old toggle light switches to rocker switches throughout my home. My goal was to add more lighting to rooms that were kind of on the dark side because there was just not sufficient light coming from the light fixtures that existed. Bruce was extremely helpful, effective and efficient in determining the layout of the new lighting in order to achieve my goals. They are courteous and professional. They show up on time and communicate with you accordingly. As a homeowner, I deal with a lot of contractors and most of the time it's an unpleasant experience. I am thankful that is not the case with Stanley Electric. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent electric company.
