Compared to other locations I can say this location has helpful employees. I will be going here from now on. Posting a pic of flowers I got from there.

Last I was in the garden center they were moving things around and it was impossible to find what I was looking for. In addition, the employees in the garden center did not know where anything was and instead of helping me find it, the just guessed and pointed so that they could remain in their conversation with another employee.

This is by far the best Home Depot garden center I’ve been to. They had a beautiful selection of flowers everything looked healthy and well cared for. I also purchased some mulch, and a young man helped me load it; he was very respectful and professional. The entire staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and polite. It was a really positive experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be returning to this location for my garden needs!

We live nearby and enjoy visiting the farm. The Fall season is our favorite as they have the activities and pumpkin picking space. We also find the plants and flowers to be well cared for. We will continue to support a family run business which brings the community together.

I really enjoyed my time until I met Brian. How rude he is to his customers is absolutely unbelievable! The tropical greenhouse person was really great and friendly and super helpful to everyone who walked up to him (I wish I caught his name). When I noticed the elephant ears on the ground were terribly infested with spider mites I gave them back to him and he put them to the side (I'm guessing to treat them). Some were so badly infested the leaves were riddled with holes. My mother kept 3 of the least infested ones with intentions of treating them because she really loved them.

She grabbed a bunch of other stuff and we headed to the check out. She told the cashier about the mites and asked what to do with them and walked away to grab ladybugs from the fridge. The cashier called over Brian who then not only acted like I was an idiot and told me they were watermarks but when I pointed to a cluster of mites on one leaf large enough to be visible to the eye he pushed them to the side looked me in the eyes and said "Don't buy them".

I said, "I'm not buying them" and my mother had come back by then and told him she was just looking for how to treat them for the bugs. He went and got her insecticide.

Honestly if it was me I would have left and not spent almost $200 there. Although I liked the greenhouse staff I honestly won't go back there. You don't want me to buy your plants Brian? Now I won't. I was planning on coming back with my kids as I write a blog about plants and collect them myself. I also feature nurseries and shops on my social media of where to go and what places to avoid so I typically spend a lot of time around plants and plant people.

Thanks for ruining a perfectly happy nursery trip with my mom and sister!

If you do go here, don't dare ask for help or advice. Also, make sure you treat your plants and keep them isolated from other plants as it wasn't only the elephant ears infested with mites.

A Clifton landmark. Been shopping here for 40 years since my parents brought me here. Can get everything garden here. High quality flowers. Very nice local produce as well. This store is a loving grandma that welcomes you and has good things for you. No talking checkout machines, just real honest helpful people. I come here every week thru the open gardening season. Summer corn is tops in the area.

The selections of trees were amazing and the customer service was outstanding. I walked out with an awesome tree and felt like I got a great deal. The owner and employees were great. They don't make you feel like a customer. They make you feel as if you were family. I will be going back on May occasions in the future

My husband and I have been finding plants we love at Richfield Farms for years, and finally decided to ask for help with some larger landscaping projects. Throughout the process of consultation and design, plant selection , all the way to planting day, Will and Lisa were super helpful and patient, and provided expert guidance and advice. After getting to know our garden, Will was able to recommend plants that harmonize beautifully, and I’m thrilled with the results! Additional high marks to goes your landscaping crew - they are very professional. Thank you for helping us create our own little oasis!

Nice family owned Garden Center. They have everything from cut flowers, to annuals to full trees. Paving stones, gravel etc. Also have some farm fresh eggs, honey and produce. Helpful and very knowledgeable staff. They're pricing is good, and in line with what you should expect to pay for the service and quality that they offer. I believe they also refill propane tanks. Convenient parking on the premises.

Been going here ever since i can remember. They have beautiful flowers. Fresh produce, and fair prices. In the summer they sell delicious corn on the cob (better than @ the grocery store), and it only costs $0.69 an ear. Staff treats you like family, prices are for the most part fair and great environment!

I am so completely proud to say I shopped at my local farm for fresh produce for the first time. I'll be back again and again!

We went to pick our fresh cut Christmas tree, they have a great variety, any size and different kinds. Very well trained staff, great service. We choose the perfect one according our needs, and then they trimmed, cut the bottom part. Rapper it, putting the tree on the top on may car and secure it with a rope.

If you are looking for a great fresh cut Christmas tree, good price, great service you should consider this place. I do recommend this farm.

We've been coming to this farm for years. Not only do they have a wide selection of shrubbery trees and produce, but they also have live animals in the back with the kids can see such as donkeys chickens and rabbits! So this is a great place to bring your kids especially for free. (Currently these are no longer here. Feb 2024)

When you come here there is some street parking directly out front, but you can also park in their brick-paved lot to the left of the building. Also by the inside parking, are bricks & pavers that you can purchase.

My recommendation if you're going to buy shrubs for privacy here, is to measure the height you want them to be unless you're willing to wait for them to grow to that height, because you can purchase taller ones for a higher price.

The next time you want to buy some produce, why not come here and purchase it directly from the farm instead?

Between the greenhouses and the barn is a soda machine, however you can also buy some cold drinks like iced tea inside where you make your purchases. in those greenhouses, by the way, is a large selection of flowers and plants you can buy. So feel free to browse them while you're there too!

Just had a really uncomfortable experience returning a shrub purchased 24 hrs earlier. It was in exact same shape and was not even removed from the container. The leaf color didn't match similar shrubs on my clients' property. The clerk insisted on store credit, even as I explained this was a business purchase paid on business card and I'd be using a personal card if I purchased anything today. It was just unpleasant and disappointing since I've shopped here for years. As a professional gardener who spends thousands of dollars on plant purchases every week, I'm not chancing shopping here again.

Just wanted to share that although we never made it to the farm, as I had called to cancel our reservation due to a rainy forecast, they did not hesitate to give us a refund immediately. We would have been visiting with babies and lots of little ones and a rainy day would have been super difficult. Very grateful they were so accommodating and look forward to visiting soon!

I called this garden center today, to see if they had something in stock. I've been having trouble finding a tree peony, and I didn't want to make a 25 minute drive in vain. The woman who answered was abrupt, said there were a lot of things that had come in, and she didn't know if there were any tree peonies or not. She said I'd just need to drive over and see for myself. Obviously, even if they had what I needed, I wouldn't buy anything from such an unfriendly and unhelpful merchant. I'm surprised they've been in business this long. I'll certainly tell others to steer clear, and I'll take my business elsewhere (like Perry's in Glen Rock!).

Richfield Farms has been my go to place for over 30 years. Richfield Farm as been a part of Clifton history for a 100 years. They are the best. Always very helpful. My garden has always been filled with their flowering plants, bushes, trees and vegetables plants.
Sometimes it is so nice to just go and take in the peacefulness of the farm it's self.
