I called Jim based on all the positive reviews and everyone was so right! He called me back right away and was at my door at the exact time he said he would arrive.
Of course, the problem I called him about mysteriously disappeared when he arrived to fix it (isn't that what happens with problems all the time?) so I know it was hard for him to figure out what was wrong. He took the time to listen to my explanation of what happened, asked me questions to try to figure out what the issue was, checked every outlet and did everything he can to find the issue. He told me exactly what to do next time it happened and insisted that I contact him if it happens again.
Of course, the problem happened an hour after Jim left (isn't that what happens with problems all the time?). I contacted him and he was back at our house in the evening. He cancelled his appointment to come to fix the issue! He came prepared with a spare part based on what I told him over texts and was so thorough in diagnosing and resolving the issue.
Jim is a professional, thorough and conscientious electrician. We will only be calling Jim for all of our future electric needs! Thank you!

We hired Jim initially to inspect our home during our home buying journey. He pointed out what will be required to bring the house to code. After we purchased our home, we hired him to work on unsafe electric boxes and to update outlets and switches. Along with his apprentice, Michael, they added LED recessed lighting and replaced light fixtures. Jim is a knowledgeable and reliable electrician who takes pride in his work. It's a pleasure to work with someone who prioritizes safety and have insightful suggestions on how to improve our home. He went above and beyond, even fixed our staircase railing as the mounting screws were loose. We recommend him for your electrical needs.
