After meeting with Lisa & her husband Arthur, I thought I made a great choice to completely redo my front and back landscapes. This was back in the end of March 2018. On April 15th 2018, I gave them a $500 deposit in cash (stupid me). Like my back yard, it was all downhill from there. Well 45 days later no work has been done.

Just looking to be done with them, all I wanted back was half the deposit.
June 1st 2018, Arthur (her husband) gave me his word he would refund me $250 and I will get it within a week. As expected its 9 days later (6/9/18) and I have not heard from him nor has he or his wife responded. txt messages w time and date stamp

If you are thinking of hiring them, do yourself a favor. Go in your back yard, dig a hole, hit yourself in the head with a shovel and then go sit in it.

I wanted a new back and front yard. All I got from Blossoming Beginnings was 5 gallons of terrible communication, a bed of delays & a ground covering of endless excuses. For me, the only seeds they planted was misery and aggravation.

Irresponsible company...I called them in the middle of a week and I believe I exchanged a few messages with Lisa, her husband Arthur called me and we spoke for a few minutes. He told me that someone would stop by on Saturday or Monday latest. No one showed up and I ended up reaching out to them on Wednesday. I'm sharing the message I sent them below, they didn't even bother to respond 🙄

I'm guessing you guys are not really interested in gaining my business...I was told that someone would stop by Saturday or Monday to take a look and give me a quote, today is Wednesday and not a phone call or a message.

I was looking for a person with a broad knowledge base of native plants and came across Blossoming Beginnings. Lisa and Arthur are absolute delights to work with--they listen and are flexible, and have made landscaping a fun experience for me!

If you're looking for a landscaper who will do more than just mow your lawn , this is it!. They assess the property before beginning work and make recommendations that you are free to accept or reject. They are also flexible/willing to make adjustment in the plan as needed. It took us almost 5 years to find a full-service landscaper after the last one retired -- the vast improvement they've made in just one season to the lawn, garden and hedges is amazing.

Blossoming Beginnings really came through for us, helping us transform our front yard in one day. We wanted to improve our home's "curb appeal" and they came up with solutions and executed the vision right away. They are creative, attentive and responsive. Strongly recommend!

For the past seven years Blossoming Beginnings has landscaped and maintained my property starting with the removal of most of the old and overgrown original growth and the installation of new landscaping which they designed based on my input. Maintenance is excellent, on time and as budgeted at the beginning of each season. No surprises.

VERY professional, knowledgeable and honest! Lisa Rivera and her team picked out the perfect combination of plants for our front yard and planted them with a wonderful eye for elegance while at the same time understatement and subtlety just like we wanted. I loved her immensely helpful explanations of which plants and landscaping options worked best for our situation. Some things we had in mind were simply not feasible or were not hardy enough for our desire for beautiful yet low-maintenance landscaping and Lisa was forthright in educating us on this.

At first I was reluctant to let go of one of our older shrubs but in the end I'm glad I followed Lisa's recommendation as her design and plant selection was light years better than what was previously there. Their understanding of lawn care is also superlative as they revived and improved a few troublesome spots with their expertise. The improvement in our lawn was a testament of how a proper, professional de-thatching will make a BIG difference. I'm actually even more excited about this upcoming Spring as I'm looking forward to hiring this company again to help us keep our lawn and landscaping looking great.

We contracted Lisa & Arthur this spring for spring cleaning and to redo our back & front yard. After having a horrible experience last year we had given all hopes of ever having a beautiful lawn.
