Great pool store and service company. Always very helpful with opening and closing my pool. Reasonable prices on all chemicals.

Great service everytime! The only pool store I'll ever use!

Not very knowledgeable. Went to get a rechargeable pool vac, name brand is Aiper. I called the store before I went. This salsman on the phone told me they carried all of them. Went there and they told me there was no such brand .There is no such item. Went home and purchased from Amazon !!!

Terrible company and bad schedulers and staff and they try to charge excessive amounts even when they dont perform job and make it worse then never fix it but try charging card anyways and or charge to come out even if they do absolutely nothing and you tip them and have to help and advise them. Terrible company . Mind u this wasnt a hard job to do above ground. I even had to report them. And owner and reception are airheads and they try to mock me on this review as well

I contracted Stardust a year ago to redo my pool steps. It looks like a the slapped on a coat of paint. They look horrendous. Almost 2,000 dollars and i could have just painted it myself. I have had several pool companies visit my phone and have commented on how terrible the steps looks. Run away.

The worst place to go for any of your pool needs. The manager Dennis is rude, unfriendly and not fit for a customer facing job. All the negative reviews here are justified.
They charged me $365 and my pool is still dark green. -
Wow, after spending more than $8,000 on a new pool liner and cover. They decided to throw out all the good and gave us a used pool cover pump that failed after one rain storm. Thanks but we're no longer recommending your services.

Been coming here for years for all my pool needs. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Google search said they were open until 8, showed up at 640, door was open and open sign was still on. As soon as the door opened my husband and I were rudely greeted with a gentleman screaming "CLOSED" would've taken a second but to tell us you open at 9 tomorrow shows a new customer that you are not interested in their business. Thanks anyway guys. Good luck, we won't be back. We will take our business elsewhere. BTW Leslie pools and At Recreation also open at 9.

There pool chemical testing appears to be state of the art until they tell you have crazy numbers and coppers and all types of upsale bull. After you buy chemicals from them and realized that they gave you enough to melt your pool liner and skin off.
They push unnecessary chemicals to drain your pockets.
last summer they nearly destroyed my pool by telling me to add a certain amount of PH up. I added only half of the amount they recommended in fear it was still too much and ended up with a chemical disaster that took almost 10 days to recover. -
Been working with Walter from Stardust for the last 5 years after a bad experience with another company. On the recommendation of a neighbor we contacted them.
Walter was able to fix the problems and we now have the pool of our dreams!.
The knowledge and service is superior.
Thanks, Stardust! -
These people don't care at all about customer service. First of all they dumped the debris and dirty water from my pool cover back into my pool. Now I'm stuck dealing with the mess. They tested my pool water and never gave me the results. When I asked about the 15% chemical discount listed on their website, the receptionist asked me "where did you get that idea?". Pathetic service. Avoid this company.

Awful experience with Walt and team. Light leak turned in to them charging me $2000 instead of $150. Said it was pipes leaking, after their underwater test, which was one person holding someone else under water! Yup! Their fix was to putty and silicone the heck out of everything 4X! didn't work guys, still a mess with costly clean up from someone else. They broke all the clips that held the lights in and now they pop out hanging in pool. Most awful attitude from Walt, to say the least. This just goes on and on...be aware whom you deal with!

HORRENDOUS SERVICE! Walter the owner came to give me the estimate for a new pool liner on 3/31/2016. Informed me that if I placed the order with him that week he could do the install mid to latter part of April. I placed the order with him shortly after (that week) and then he informs me that since it was getting late in the month NOW the install would have to be the 1st week of May. I has stated to him that I needed the new liner installed before Labor Day since we were planning a BBQ at the house. Excuse after excuse later..blaming rain for the delay in the install...we finally got them here the last week of MAY!! They installed the new liner..NEVER RANG MY BELL TO INFORM ME WHEN TO TURN OFF THE HOSE IN THE NEW LINER!! at 5pm I called Ashley at Stardust to ask her when I should shut off the hose..and then she informs me that he had put a tape line in the pool to show where I should stop the water! She stated to me that it would not be an issue. They arrive the next day...and then inform me that they could not fix the creases in the new liner because the pool had too much water in it and that I needed to drain the water ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM OF THE POOL! Seriously??? do these people know the waste and cost of emptying out gallons of water from this ridiculous mistake!!?? and of course they were blaming each other. The truly amazing thing was that Walter had promised me a free pool opening (valued at $400) with the purchase of the new liner. THEY LITERALLY SHOWED UP AND JUST PUT LIQUID CHLORINE..PUT THE POOL STAIRS AND RAILING IN. They never vacuumed the pool as advertised on their website...even though we had visible debris of leaves in the pool. This is a $400 pool opening?? The really astonishing issue was that Walter then tries to sell me over $500 dollars of pool chemicals to correctly balance the new pool water!! IT is fresh new water! I walked out of their store totally disgusted and feeling totally taken advantage of. I took my water sample to Leslie Pools and they said I needed only $60 dollar worth of chemicals to correctly balance the new pool water!! UNBELIEVABLE! Talk about being ripped off! Stardust Pools should be out of business ! I really cannot believe they operate a business like this! I should have kept with my existing pool company and not have been sucked in to their $300 off coupon for a new liner! You truly get what you pay for. Subpar service ...tremendous about of finger pointing...no accountability...and then asked to purchase chemicals from them that you don't need..TRULY OFFENSIVE TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS THIS WAY!!

Been using them for 12 years. Great water testing!! Great employees. Very helpful!!

This is by far the WORST construction, pool company I ever dealt with. Owner Walter is a liar, tell you one think when he is selling the job and another after he gets most of the money, his crew is incompetent, I dont know how they build pools when they can't do pool deck replacement. They put rust stains in my liner from metal shavings by cutting steel next to the pool, how can you work on pools and not know that you can't do that. Showed up on Saturdays looking hungover. Job that should take a week took 5 weeks to complete. DO NOT RECOMEND, BE AWARE. I GUESS THEY DONT WANT REPEAT COSTUMERS.

I had to take the time out of my busy day to thank STARDUST POOLS for a great job refinishing my pool Fibre Tech is an amazing product and wish I did it years ago. Not only is the workmanship that you did amazing but the pool is so much easier to maintain and looks great. I truly recommend STARDUST the price was fair and the service is the BEST.

Buyer beware! Walter (owner of Stardust Pools) is nice until you give him money and then everything that he promised you when signing the contract goes out the window. My wife and I gave Walter a 15% deposit ($14,790) in Dec. 2020 for an in ground pool installation. Walter (owner) said that if we gave the deposit in December, then the pool could be started in mid or late March and takes 4-12 weeks to complete. He said he can have the pool completed by June and we can enjoy it with our family for the summer months. Next time we heard from Stardust Pool Company was in mid April when the secretary called to ask for more money. When I asked her when the pool installation was going to begin, Walter (owner) got on the phone and said that he couldn’t start until mid-May because he was backlogged with work. He also said the pool would be completed sometime in late July. So now instead of enjoying the pool for the whole summer, it’s been reduced to 1 month. I told Walter that’s not what we agreed to. Walter states that there’s nothing he can do. He then goes on to state that he can start in September 2021 so that the pool can be ready for the summer of 2022. What?!! I paid for a pool for 2021, not 2022! I asked Walter to refund my deposit. Why should he hold onto my money for another year?! I’ll hold onto my own money! Walter outright refused. When I told him that I was going to sue him for the return of my deposit, he had a nonchalant attitude and said “Take me to court.” I was surprised how easily he wasn’t bothered by it as if this is something normal to him. I already made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. BUYER BEWARE!! BEWARE of this company!!

I called Star Dust Pools to fix a leak in my running hot tub during freezing conditions in January 2013 and to safely close the spa for the rest of the winter. As a result, they fixed the leak but left me with a broken hot tub. Furthermore I believe they talked me into purchasing a new pump unnecessarily because my old pump was running just fine. I agreed to the purchase of a new pump because they said that the leak was coming from corrosion in the area of the pipe and pump connection and that they were unable to detach the leaking pipe from the pump due to this corrosion. They said the only way they could fix the leak is if they cut out the pipe and connected pump and replace it with a new pipe and pump. I don’t understand why they had to do this but trusted that they knew better than me and if corrosion was occurring, I probably needed a new pump anyway. So I agreed to it but only after I was assured that they would warranty their work and the new pump if it did not work when I opened the spa in the spring. When I tried to open the spa in the spring the control panel lit up indicating it had power but when I tried to start it up the way I always did the pump did not respond. It seemed like it was not getting any power. When I called Star Dust Pools I had to wait almost three weeks for someone to come out. When someone did come out he couldn’t fix it and I was told I had to wait another two weeks before they could get the owner, Walter, to come out. After he came out I was told that he couldn’t find anything wrong with the pump and that he thinks it is the control panel that is broken. I told her that my control panel and pump were working fine before they came to fix my leak and that if the new pump they installed it is not working that it must be something they did and they should be responsible to fix it. They denied any responsibility and will not return my phone calls.
I have filed a complaint against this company with the Better Business Bureau.
