Review for Firewood only (see Post script, issues): Convenient free local delivery. Prices for mixed hardwood good for surrounding area & the quality is as expected. Generally, each piece was solid quality with very few (single digits) duds showing any initial rot. Everyone I dealt with were courteous & professional. Assuming no change in competitive pricing & quality, I will definitely use them again.

Wood arrives in dump truck & is dumped out in your driveway, as is normal for such a service (in my experience). I only mention this as if youre a first timer, make sure you have a wheelbarrow and a good set of gloves to facilitate a move of anything longer than a few feet. Id estimate a 1/2 cord will fill your wheelbarrow approximately 12 times. Cant imagine doing this without a wheelbarrow, so plan accordingly.

If youre in the market for some firewood, Timberwolf is definitely worth your consideration.

Post script (2 weeks later) Wood seems to be largely unseasoned. Plenty of sizzle and smoke from the moisture. In the two weeks I've owned the wood, it has been stored in raised stack, covered on top from rain, but open to allow air flow on sides & below.
Disappointing, but Ill give it another year. Just a buyer beware. Don't expect to use it same year as delivery, but its quality cut.

To be fair, Im not sure I asked or if they represent that the wood was seasoned ... I just assumed that as standard operating procedure for such a service. Kinda useless in current form if you want to use indoors ... outside, ok if you avoid smoke. Ember disbursement a concern, dont leave unattended.

Purchased a cord of mixed firewood from them this fall. Extremely professional, right on time and a great product. There are many out there that claim to sell seasoned wood which really is still green, their wood is perfect, cut and split to great sizes. Will definitely be using them every year from now on.

Once again John and his crew did a great job on our property, this time removing a diseased tree. They're always reliable and professional.

I had two large trees on the side of my property that had partially fallen over and would have hit my neighbors house if they fell. I called Timberwolf tree service and had an estimate done the next day. John emailed the estimate that day. I called him the next day and the tree removal was scheduled for 7:30 the next morning. That was the fastest, most efficient job involving a contractor i have ever had done. I wish they all went like that.

I've been using Timberwolf Tree Service for years. They've delivered firewood to our home in Millstone. Just recently we had 4 tree stumps ground down. Communication is always clear and prompt. Very easy to work with. They're a great local business. A++

We hired Timberwolf to remove a massive dead oak from our backyard.
Was a really tricky job since the tree was behind our swing set in the corner of the yard, but Timberwolf managed to maneuver the cranes into the tight space. Competitive pricing, professional crew that cleans up after the job, quality service. Thanks John, great job!

Gene and I were both extrmely pleased with Timberwolf's tree removal in our yard yesterday. John and his crew arrived on time and worked hard all day on removing 5 trees--2 1/2 of the trees were quite large. There was no mess afterwards--all the tree material was removed and existing landscaping below trees and the yard (heavy equipment could have been a problem--was not!) were well taken care of. We recently moved and called Timberwolf Tree Service to trim several trees and to grind two stumps in our back yard. John, the owner got right back to us and did a walk thru only a day later. He worked around our schedule to make it most convenient for us and he came out only a few days later.
John and his crew worked fast and efficient, were cautious of the property and left the place very clean.
Overall dealing with John and Timberwolf Tree Service was professional, easy and hassle free.

We had a tree fall onto our fence and was leaning on our neighbor’s shed. John gave us a prompt estimate and arrived when he said he would. He and the crew made quick work of our fallen tree and were careful to not damage the neighbor’s shed. We definitely recommend Timberwolf Tree Service.

Excellent and honest company with professional and hard working staff. John was very responsive every step of the way from the estimate through completing the work in a timely fashion. Ordered mixed firewood came on time we used for outdoor fire and wood bunt better and hotter than the stuff you get at Home Depot

Beware! They were working up the road and saw a tree down in our yard. Gave us an estimate , I explained that we weren't living at the house currently ( because it was moms and she had passed) so he would need to call so I could come over with payment, he said he would call so I could be there and never received a call. Went to the house trees were down bill was on the door. He never said that using a bank a bank card would cost more and then her charged and additional $275.00 because he lost my phone # and had to keep driving to the house for payment. Needless to say a $1500 estimate turned into $1880.00. I even tried to tell him I would pay by check and credit my card back. Also asked for an itemized bill and nothing.

Called Mace after returning from vacation. Had a tree that was down during storms when we were away. He came within 30 min after the call and provided a quote . Returned the next morning with a very professional crew to remove all parts of the tree. Extreme care of the property and awesome cleanup. I with I could give more stars !

John and his crew worked as a well oiled machine removing the tree and stump in y yard. They were timely, communication being the key, and did a good cleanup when finished. I would use them again.

John knows his stuff! He came out and gave us an estimate, letting me know what needed to happen, what could be left or just trimmed a bit, and what would be best for the trees' health that were just getting some limbs removed. When we gave him the go-ahead and got scheduled, they were in and out quickly, with everything done that we needed, and nicely cleaned up after.
