Professional Tree Care is in there blood! The family has been doing it a long long time! But beyond that they are really good people. Recently, I called them to help out our school here in Boonton. The playground was a mess. Al came through big time for our school! He is truly a class act! May God reward you!

Mr. Birchler came to cut down a huge tree for a neighbor of mine. I really liked the great care he, and his crew took to ensure that no divets remained on the lawn. They lowered the tree limbs, and trunk with a crane in order to control the way they came down. A couple of days earlier, another neighbor had a different tree service, and they simply cut small segments off of a very large tree bit by bit, and let them free fall onto the lawn. Needless to say, it will be a while before that lawn is leveled again. I had a very small tree of my own to remove, and approached Mr. Birchler to ask if he had time to do it when he was done. He very kindly, and professionally accepted to do it. He was thorough, careful, and knowledgeable, and I would not hesitate to recommend him, and his crew to everyone I know. There are many tree companies out there, but not all are as careful in doing their job as Mr. Birchler is, and this on a 100 degree day. He seems to work the way he would want it done for him, carefully, and responsibly. I am going to reach out to him in the fall to do some tree planting for me. Very nice, very personable, easy to work with, and professional. You will not be disappointed in hiring him.

PS: That was the post I originally wrote several months ago. I called Mr. Birchler and inquired about some tree planting but also asked him about a tree I had in the backyard that I was a little concerned about. He looked at it and said the roots were not in good shape and a big storm could take the tree down. (it was leaning toward my home). He also said he could trim some of the top branches to make it less top heavy instead of removing it if I preferred. I decided to just take the tree down, along with some other smaller ones that were obviously dead. Mr. Birchler and his crew did an excellent, efficient, careful job and left my lawn looking as if no one had been there. (tough to do when you need heavy machinery to tackle the job). Additionally, he ground the stump down and removed the chips. There is no evidence at all that a tree had been there. I also had them plant a new tree in the front and they did a stellar job. Mr. Birchler is a pleasure to work with. Honest, reliable, punctual, and knowledgeable. His crew were polite, responsible, careful and considerate. I would not hesitate to recommend him and will definitely use him again should I need to.

I almost overlooked Professional Tree Care. The first three estimates for removing a damaged tree varied wildly, so I added one more. Not only was Professional’s estimate less than half of the highest two, it was for taking the tree down by hand, which usually costs more than using a crane. We were hesitant to use a crane fearing damage to lawns and underground pipes. The work was flawless and the price was excellent. And as an added bonus we didn’t ask for, he ground down part of a protruding stump that another company left behind years ago. Next time we need tree service, I might only get one estimate. Kudos and thank you, Mr. Birchler!

I am so glad we found Al! He is very knowledgeable and professional, he does the right thing and doesn't cut corners. The crew is nice and easy going, showed up on time, completed everything we agreed on, treated our property with care and respect, and cleaned everything up afterwards. Reasonable pricing too.

Both boss and employee are super friendly! Very professional, very honest, explained everything in details, and willing to do anything, always go above and beyond for his customers. Al and team were tremendous. They trimmed and pruned 2 large cherry trees, birch, cedar, fire bush and they look fantastic. Clean up was spotless. I would not hesitate to recommend professional tree care to my friends, family and neighbors.

Professional Tree Care did such a wonderful job removing an old pear tree and pruning my Japanese Maple. They were on time, super clean, and explained the process from start to finish. Plus, they were very very reasonably priced! I would highly recommend them and plan to use them again in the fall.

I can’t recommend Professional Tree Care enough. Al and his team were professional and efficient. We had a huge oak tree dangerously close to our home and it was taken down with pin point accuracy. I was given the option for the wood to be left behind for chopping/burning in a fireplace and Professional Tree Care took the time to chop it up in manageable pieces that a wood splinter could handle. The stump was completely grind down without any mark of a tree before it. It was like it was never even there.

Professionalism doesn’t come better then Al and his team. I would use them again in a heartbeat if I need the service again. 5 stars.

I pretty much never leave reviews but when somebody truly deserves it, I feel like i have to. I was very happy with Al and his team as they pruned back trees and took out dead trees from my property. Unlike other contractors I’ve dealt with in the past, he actually showed up to the consultation on time and spent a good amount of time talking and explaining his thoughts. It’s obvious he knows trees. He even spent extra time by himself after the consultation taking notes and strategizing - before I even committed to him! Very professional from himself to his wife (she answered the phone when I called) to his entire crew. If I ever need more tree work they are my first and only call.

We just hired Professional Tree Care and they did a wonderful job. The job include trim about 15 trees, cut 2 trees with stump removal, about 1-1/3 days work. Their price is very reasonable, with good knowledge about what they are doing, the screws are works hard to get job done. Highly recommend and will hire them again.
