Deck Builder reviews in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey

S Scott Construction did a beautiful job with our deck. We used Azek decking that they helped us select, and a cable-wire railing that came out gorgeous. The crew-members are all lovely to deal with. Highly recommended.

Shaun Scott and his team are fantastic! If you ever need a carpentry project done, please do not hesitate to reach out to them. Shaun has done many projects for me over the years and they always come out great with a reasonable price. Projects include: Custom cabinets, custom baseboard, custom deck.

It's tough to find honest, reliable work but S Scott Construction definitely delivers. Shaun and Larry were both upfront and honest with regard to the project deadline and pricing. On top of that, the work they do is amazing and of the highest quality. Highly recommend for any size project!

Highly recommend S Scott Construction & Design for deck replacement and construction. They removed our old deck, and designed and built 2 new Azek decks exactly as requested. They handled all permits required from our town, drafted all plans, and coordinated with our pool builder and hardscape team to make sure everything worked together seamlessly. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Couldn't be happier with the front and back stairs that S Scott Construction built for us last fall. Larry was great to work with - responsive, honest, fair. The quality of the work was excellent. I highly recommend S Scott Construction to anyone looking for a high-quality, reliable group of people to work with.

S.Scott Construction does amazing work! They installed a unique timber frame front porch for me that transformed the front of my house and made my vision a stunning reality. They will be installing a new back deck for me in the near future as well.
They're Versatile, Knowledgeable, Courteous & Skilled craftsmen that perform remarkable, code compliant work.

Larry, Shaun and the entire crew at S Scott Construction were fabulous and delivered the deck of our dreams! Their workmanship, professionalism, responsiveness and timeliness are what every contractor should strive for. We couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!!!! 😊

Thrilled with our new deck, fencing and lighting! Larry and the team were amazing to work with and very responsive in handling any issues or questions. Our yard was a challenge due to elevation variations and they were creative in offering several options. Would highly recommend (call early, they get busy due to their good work)!

The S Scott team delivered top notch execution on our deck project. It has been transformed from a dingy, unusable space to an oasis of relaxation and sophistication. They are consummate professionals that took the time to get it perfectly right, and we are so appreciative of that focus and dedication to excellence. I'd work with them again in a heartbeat!

I highly recommend the S. Scott Construction team to anyone interested in repairing/replacing a deck. We replaced our deck recently and from start to finish, from designing the new deck to coordinating the permit process to driving in the last screw, we couldn’t be happier with our choice in SSC. In particular, Eric, Larry, and the rest of the workers were honest, professional, and regularly met or exceeded our expectations.

The team at S Scott Construction is best in class when it comes to residential construction. They were professional, accommodating and provided the highest level of expert craftsmanship, completing indoor and outdoor projects at my home Shaun, Larry and the rest of the team were amazing to work with. Highly recommended across the board.!

S Scott did a beautiful job on our deck area around our pool! We are so happy with all their work. They were kind, responsive and overall great to work with. The quality was fantastic. Highly recommend!!!

We had S Scott Construction build our Trex deck summer 2021. We could not be happier with the end result. Our project was more challenging than the typical deck build in that the dimensions were limited on all 3 outer sides: we had to be so far from our septic tank along the back edge, and we had just had a concrete patio and pathway poured on both side edges. We wanted stairs coming down on each side. Since you can't pull up pavers with a concrete patio, they had to be EXACT in their measurements, planning, and building. Everything turned out perfect. The owner Shaun and operations manager Larry were very responsive and knowledgeable, and the deck builder Eric was an absolute pro. There were a couple of small items in the final walk-through that needed to be addressed and they came back and made it right. Again, very responsive and accommodating. They stuck to the timeline they gave us (actually think they were able to start even earlier than they initially quoted) and we are thrilled with our deck. We would absolutely recommend S Scott to anyone! Thanks for the great work, guys!

Highly recommend! The staff and work is exceptional! The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and so kind. The work is top- notch, beautiful quality and impeccable. Love my new deck: stunning!

Amazing service, beautiful deck design and outcome. I would recommend this company to anyone who's looking for any deck service.
Quick, reliable and such a hassle free experience.

S Scott designed and built a lovely pavillion for our pool area. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better one.

We found S Scott Construction through our landscape design company and could not have been happier with the way that our beautiful deck came out! From detailed conversations about what we were looking for, what our material/color options were, the team at S Scott were incredibly knowledgable and we cannot wait until we get our deck furniture in and get to really put it to good use this coming Spring! Communication was reliable and once construction started, was swift- I cannot believe how quickly the deck was completed! Thank you, Larry!

I highly recommend S Scott Construction. Shaun worked with us to design a great space for our back deck, recommending the layout & material that came together for the feel we were looking for. Shaun & Larry on his team helped us through a difficult zoning issue, and we appreciated their coaching through the process. At the end of the project, they had great attention to detail, ensuring we were fully satisfied with the project. We are now enjoying the space, and know we made the right choice going with Shaun and his team!

We had the pleasure of working with Larry and the S Scott construction team for our backyard pavilion. Larry was very professional, knowledgeable, and a great partner to work with during our backyard project. The team created a beautiful, custom, high quality structure that we are looking forward to enjoying for many years. Highly recommend!

Our deck project was challenging given the back yard configuration. Shaun Scott, Larry Baills & their team's "can do" approach served us well throughout the process. S. Scott Construction handled all phases of our deck project - from permits to the final project. We were most pleased with their guidance & professionalism. In our case - we were offered several options for a deck - ultimately gong with each recommendation S. Scott Construction made. The entire project was completed with minimal inconvenience and on a timely manner. We would recommend S. Scott Construction for your deck and outdoor structural needs. Bob & Meredith.

From start to finish S Scott Construction & Design were prompt and professional. They installed a Timbertech deck and railings with the highest quality of work. They obtained the necessary permit and scheduled the inspection literally taking care of everything from beginning to end. Both Shaun and Larry are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The crew was courteous and at the end of each day they were diligent in leaving the area tidy. It is without hesitation that I recommend S Scott Construction and Design.
