This is the 2nd time I use Kristian tree service. He is easy to communicate with, comes quickly to give you a quote and very reasonably priced.
Him and his guys are awesome. They took down my tree and removed bushes super fast and did a great job. They showed up on time, kept me in the loop the whole way, and made everything really easy. Cleaned up after themselves too. I Definitely recommend them for all your landscaping and tree work!!

Kristian has been great, used him for a couple years now. Prompt replies and has always come on the day he says he will. Usually within 2 days of a request (brush clear out on a steep hill and gutters 30ft high)

I want to preface this review by saying that I usually do not write online reviews, but Kristian and his team’s work were truly phenomenal. Kristian and his team were very prompt, efficient, and detailed. We had a tree that was about to completely fall due to a strong storm, and Kristian was able to be flexible and come before the tree caused more damage. He also pruned our trees in the front yard as well. My family and I are very satisfied with his services, and we’ve already hired him and his team for future annual trimming services.

Excellent service and they did an amazing Job. Fast service, very clean and great price. The team is great and very respectful. They did a great job removing a tree I had in my backyard. Excellent experience with Kristian tree service and their crew. I normally don’t do reviews but this company deserves the review. I was very impress by their service. I just had two very large trees removed and the trunk grind from my backyard. Their prices are very reasonable compare to other companies. They came on time. The crew did a magnificent job cleaning up afterwards. They also protected my ground by covering it with boards. They did not use heavy equipments on my property which I requested since the ground is usually wet. They did an excellent job and did not mess up my ground or damage anything. They are truly experience, and respectful. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to my friends, family and neighbors.

Awesome experience with Kristian. Did the job quick and right on schedule, and for a great price! Definitely will call them for any tree work in the future.

I agree with all the other reviewers. My husband and I are happy customers. Kristian and his team are trustworthy, friendly, but most of all do good work. Kristian went beyond my expectations trimming an oak tree that was overlapping over my fence line into my neighbors yard. I would highly recommend Kristian Tree Service and would use him again should the need arise.

So, we had a pretty large residential tree removal job on a home recently purchased. This included removing about ten mature trees (most ~50’ tall) and about a dozen very large and overgrown bushes.

We interviewed several tree removal companies. Not surprisingly, prices were all over the map.

Kristian’s Tree Service was the last of the companies we brought in and his quote was significantly lower than any of the other tree companies. Not only that, but he estimated he could do the job in one day (about ½ the time the other companies were quoting). He said, “look, when I am done it will look like there were never any trees here”. Layer on top that when you meet Kristian you will immediately recognize that he is a very young guy. I took some pause (lowest price, quickest time to get the work done, young guy). Could he really do what he was saying? Did he have the equipment and resources necessary to do what he claimed? I was a little skeptical.

Keep in mind there is a lot of liability (personal property and injury) associated with this kind of work. Do NOT use a company without the proper insurance because if something goes wrong your home-owners insurance will not pay for any claims.

So, I began to do my diligence on his company.

This included not only calling his insurer to verify he had the proper insurance to remove mature trees (this is not landscaping insurance folks), but also calling the NJ Board of Tree Experts to verify he had the proper licenses to do mature tree removal. Proper insurance in place – check. Correct license in place – check. I also got his insurance company to issue a certificate of insurance naming us as insured for this job.

I next asked if I could come see them work on another job. Kristian said sure and provided two addresses where he and his team were going to be the next few days. I went to both job sites and observed them working for about an hour each day. I saw his equipment – all massive and major equipment appropriate for the work he was doing. Stump grinder was the biggest one I had ever seen. I asked, what does something like this cost. He said about $120K.

I saw all I needed to see. Done. Shook his hand and hired him.

Fast forward to yesterday. His team (around seven guys) arrived around 7:30am. They set up and got ready and by 8:00am climbers were in the trees cutting branches. All trees down and on the ground within a few hours and branches and limbs being dragged to the street and put in the chipper. Guys then had blowers out and cleared all the leaves and mess from taking down those trees. Next comes the stump grinder. This thing took out the large stumps and significant above ground root system of those trees with ease. They removed all the grindings (including dirt about 6-8” deep that had been ground up in the process) and replaced that with topsoil and then grass seed. It looked fantastic. Not even like the same home.

I remembered what Kristian said when he came out to quote – when I am done you will never know there were ever trees here. I was skeptical and I was wrong. He was 100% spot on correct.

If you are considering hiring a mature tree removal company, look no further. Kristian is your guy. While I hope to not need any more tree work again, if we do, he will be the only company I call.

Kristian replied to my text immediately.He was very prompt coming to do the work. He and his crew just left. He not only cut down the tree which was leaning towards my house,but the bushes from the side of my house and in front. Kristian and his men are very friendly,courteous and professional. My yard,side of the house and front never looked so good,and they cleaned up my yard beautifully. He is very reasonable with prices. I already recommended Kristian to my sister and friend. I would highly recommend Kristian,if you need tree service,give him a call. Believe me you will be not disappointed.

I was so happy with the professional, courteous and value driven manner Kristian Tree handled our trees. We asked for an estimate and Kristian walked around the trees and made specific recommendations to prune our two HUGE trees. He used a laser to show me exactly where he recommended cutting. I have a London Plane (200 yo) and a Heritage Pin Oak (200 yo)! He thinned them without making them unattractive and most importantly they are now safe. Wonderful company and happy, hardworking workers!

Kristian Tree is an honorable and reputable business whos workmanship is driven by high standards and client satisfaction, to say the least. His motto is "You will not notice we were here". Each tree cutting or pruning is addressed with a thorough cleanup and that you can be sure of. They provide a fair and reasonable estimate explaining the approach to the
task at hand. He listens and also gives advice to anything you may have missed. I give a high rating for his services, you wont be disappointed.

We had a tree fall down on our property. Kristian and his crew were timely, efficient, courteous, and very professional. We were enormously pleased that they took care of our fallen tree in quick order, then cut down some additional trees, ground the stumps, and trimmed branches on a number of other trees. We were most pleased and recommend them highly.

We had the Kristian team here at our house today. We had a large section of our Pear Tree come down last week, and they ended up removing the whole tree and stump as well as taking out a Cherry Tree my wife had her eyes had on for years. They were quick and efficient, and the pricing was fair. They showed up when they said they would, and to my wife's approval left the place looking cleaner then when we started. Chalk one up for Chat GPT which recommended them. We will have them back for sure as we have other trees we are looking to move on

Kristian and his team did an unbelievably excellent job for us. We had a tree removed, and trimming of very large shrubs. His prices are very fair. If I could give him more stars, I would.

Just had more work done by Kristian. Fixed our cement sidewalk that was uplifted by tree limbs, and resurfaced part of backyard by shaving down surface tree roots, added top soil and reseeded. All done at a very fair price! These guys are incredible!!

Kristian just took down two huge pine trees in our yard and trimmed another. Fast, efficient and high quality work for a great price! They did an immaculate job at cleaning up as well! Super impressed and we will be using them again in the future!

Kristian and his team did an excellent job cutting down two large trees, several pine trees, stump removal, and trimming of all the trees in my yard. One of the large trees was a little tricky since it was in between two other large trees, but his crew handled with ease. The crew worked safely, cleaned up thoroughly, and even spread topsoil and seed after finishing. Everything was done professionally and I’m very happy with his work. Highly recommend!
