Kathy and her crew did a perfect job on a 75' pine tree that was close to my house and power lines. Great communication, nice people, impeccable cleanup, and did it all in 2 hours. I was amazed! Kathy even offered me a tree to take the place of my pine! Thank you Kathy and crew at Monmouth County Tree Service! Highly recommended.

We loved our experience working with Kathy. She was easy to talk to and clearly communicated the plan and her recommendations. She emailed an estimate after the initial walkthrough and was easy to communicate with via email. We had the bottom limbs of a large tree trimmed, and cleaned up two other trees. The day of, she came before her crew arrived and walked us through the contract, cost and their insurance. Their crew was quick, careful and it all went smoothly. Thank you, Kathy!

The work done & lead up to it, I rate as an 11 on a scale of 10 (highest) to 1 (lowest). Owner, Kathy Grassi, was extraordinarily professional in every aspect of my dealings with her. She was always on time & was on the job site supervising and constantly communicating with me to insure my satisfaction with the diverse & difficult tree work involved. The workers were excellent in all respects: work ethic, safety, and cleanup, among them. My neighbors were pleasantly surprised with the quality of work & cleanup. They, along with me, were comforted by the proof of insurance & workers compensation provided. I give Monmouth County Tree my unconditional recommendation.

Kathy and the crew did an amazing job for us. They pruned a mammoth tree that was littering the yard with beautiful, well crafted results. They also did an amazing job on our privet hedge. Managing the logistics via the neighbors and insurance was seamless. We will work with them in future for sure.

Great company! Kathy carefully explained all options, showing ne what to look for in the trees to make educated decisions. Took out a huge dead tree in a very tight space between 2 properties; then a dying tree in the front. Ever so careful of my beloved garden. Amazing watching the climber one handedly wielding a chainsaw and the crew carefully roping down huge branches to avoid the flower beds. Everything perfectly cleaned up after. They then planted a new tree in the lawn Just So in the exact right space. I asked them to leave the stump, will use it for a 'pedestal' for a pot or art as a memorial to a great tree that died too soon...

Kathy and her team took down an impossible tree, an impossible tree that had taken months and numerous other tree companies failed attempts to get it down.

But her team came in, did exactly what they said they would do, when she said they would, and ground out the stump in a tight space.

They even cleaned out some of the tree waste in my neighbor's yard and that was above and beyond good community service.

Kathy came out who owns the company to take a look at what I needed done. I have a large oak that hangs over my deck I wanted it trimmed back to be safe from anything possibly falling on the deck and to take down a white birch that had died. Kathy shared her expertise and showed me exactly what she thought we needed to do. They did a beautiful job the Oak looks amazing everything was cleaned up and the yard looks great! Very professional and the price was fair highly recommends!! Thanks again

I cannot say enough about the professionalism, knowledge and the work performed by Kathy and her crew. After the tropical storm we had some pretty severe damage to one tree in our backyard and were originally thinking of taking that tree and another close to the house completely down. Kathy explained to us the importance of saving the trees and letting her and her crew prune them appropriately in order to both keep our house safe and keep the trees. Kathy came out twice to our property before the job date to clarify the work to be done and she was there the entire day when the pruning was being done. The crew was polite, worked hard and did an absolutely fantastic job. Thank you . I have attached before and after pictures.

Kathy and her crew did a thorough job through every aspect of the project. We had overgrown yews removed and a few tree stumps ground. We appreciate that we always received clear communication every step of the process. The crew arrived on time and the work sight was very clean when all the work was complete. Highly recommend!

Fast, reliable & quality service. Kathy is extremely knowledgeable and listens to your needs. We had them take down a few branches in our yard to open up our property. Cleaned up all of the branches, leaves, etc. So happy with how everything turned out! Highly recommend.

I first met with Kathy of Monmouth County Tree a few years ago to discuss whether some of our trees should be taken down. Kathy advised that that the trees were healthy and in no danger of coming down. Kathy recommended trimming them. I waited a few years before reaching out again. In December I asked Kathy to advise me whether 1 or 2 trees should be taken down: A white Pine that had been planted too close to the house years ago , and very tall Norway Spruce that practically shaded our whole yard and driveway. Kathy showed how they could be trimmed and elevated , making them look better and live longer. I was so relieved!
Kathy and her amazing crew also delicately trimmed 2 very old Cedars close to the road.They had been mistreated over the years by many "prunings" by Jcp&l's contractors. Monmouth Co. Tree's trimming also has allowed room for our Dogwood to flourish.
Now, when we look at our front yard , we can actually see our whole house! The birds seem to have rediscovered the Cedars. Maybe they always had, but now I can see them on the branches. And when we look out the windows we can see a lot more of the sky and the tree. That means more sunsets!
I'm so thankful for Kathy's expertise and her love of trees. I made the right choice with Monmouth County Tree. Kathy and her skillful crew perfectly trimmed our trees. Kathy and her crew from Monmouth County Tree were absolutely wonderful!! They were quick with a response and the turn around time from our estimate to the removal of our trees was really amazing and I'm so happy I found them!! Highly recommend! They arrived early. Kathy and her team were professional. They did significant trimming on a weeping willow with dead branches and hanging low, into my yard, dropping a lot of small branches and leaves. Clean up was immaculate. Looked better than when they arrived. Fairly priced.

We needed to remove a dead tree from the front of our property and also wanted to prune some other trees out front. Kathy is so professional and is incredibly passionate about what she does. She has a tremendous ability to utilize her expertise and explain everything in such a clear manner. Her crew is friendly, professional and extremely proficient. You can tell that they love what they do. On the project day, my wife and I stood out front with Kathy as her crew was working and she would point out a few other ideas as they were going along letting us decide on the spot about some additional pruning. Kathy and her team came to my house earlier this year in May to help cut down some limbs of an old dying tree and to trim up some other tree areas including the branches encroaching to close to my house. Kathy was so knowledgeable and helpful and with other aspects as well not just the tree trimming, but also had some wonderful ideas on different new trees to plant and other things that would help me better maintain my landscape on my own. Her company does the real old-school tree cutting which means that her guys go up in the trees by climbing them directly and cut down the limbs. So you do not have to worry about any heavy machinery or anything destroying the grass on your property. The process was so efficient and Kathy was easy and friendly to work with and more affordable than others who would bring heavy machinery on site; they did an absolutely wonderful job. I will always use and recommend Kathy and her team for any of your tree cutting needs.

Kathy blew me away within the first 5 minutes of showing up for her estimate. She was professional, knowledgeable, and answered all my silly questions without being condescending. We had them do cleanup around the property (removing trees, bushes, and poison ivy). She was quick with responses and acknowledged that she received a message and would respond within X time, and always did. She kept everyone informed throughout the entire process and the guys that were doing the work with her were polite and professional. Kathy also ensured we were happy with the work before they left and even checked in the next day to ensure the rest of the household was happy with the work. She even made recommendations on how we could do a few things ourselves to save some money, since we were having so much done to begin with. I attached before and after pictures.
