I am very happy with the service I have received from DAR Electric. Val, the owner, is extremely responsive, polite, and reasonable. He does excellent work at a reasonable price. Communication via phone or text message is excellent. No job is too big or too small making him my go to electrician for everything.

Working with Val was a great experience. He was able to come at a minutes notice, always on time and quick with the job. His prices are very reasonable and his work was impeccable. He was great at responding to our texts and phone calls. He has extensive electric knowledge and was very helpful in our household projects. We will be continuing to use him for all our electric work

I have been using Val (DAR Electronics) for several years and he has never failed to disappoint, he delivers outstanding service in a timely fashion at a reasonable price and with the utmost courtesy.

This year, during the recent heat wave, I bought two ceiling fans and called Val after placing the order. When they arrived, he was here less than 48 hours later and he quickly and efficiently installed the ceiling fans without a glitch. He’s not only a real pro but he’s a good person and it’s very hard to find contractors like him who have character and who you can trust. If you have a job, give him a chance and I’m highly confident that you’ll have found your new electrician.

Update (January 22nd):
Just used Val (DAR) and he’s still providing great service, courteous, professional and great work for very fair prices! Definitely give him a shot—nice to give self owned contractor who deserves it, business.

My wife and I recently had Val from Dar Electric help us with a house project. He was very professional, he did good work, and his rates were very reasonable. Whenever we reached out to ask questions, he responded quickly and when we were ready to have work done, he made himself available and worked with our time schedule. At one point I had wanted to use puck lighting under my cabinets, but he recommended slim bar lighting and I am very glad that we followed his suggestion.

Dar Electric provides exceptionally fast and professional service. He arrived promptly to assess the job, and remarkably, secured the necessary permit the same day we signed the contract. Demonstrating incredible dedication, he worked tirelessly from 9 AM until 8 PM. When an unexpected issue arose that was needed to pass inspection, he went above and beyond to resolve it that same day! I highly recommend Dar Electric.

Val was very easy to work with, very fair, reasonable, and upfront estimates. I called multiple electricians, and really happy with DAR electric - great response, on time, drama free. Val worked through inspector's notes and came back swiftly to address issues that were not even due to his work but rather previous contractors (no idea how they passed their inspection before my time with the house). Inspection passed without any issues. Really happy with my new panel. Stellar work, will be a repeat customer, no doubt.

Val is great. I asked him to help me with electrical problems in the house both large and small. He has always been very responsive, caring, punctual, and professional. He always does exactly what I need him to do, and his fee is quite reasonable. Most recently, he completely replaced the ancient, corroded switch box in the basement. He even mapped out and labeled all of the switches so that we know what part of the house is connected to each one. I am glad I found DAR Electric.

Dar Electric was prompt and professional. Our outdated electric panel was causing outages at our home. Both the outdoor box and circuit panel needed to be replaced. The total cost was about what I had anticipated, no surprises. They also switched out an old fluorescent light for a new LED and installed a doorbell camera while they were here. The work was completed in just one day! I would highly recommend Dar Electric.
