Powell’s is currently shingling my neighbor’s house and have made a mess of my backyard. Shingles, nails, garbage are strewn about all over my property. Additionally, there is loose roofing debris blowing all over the neighborhood and roofing nails in the street. The workers see it, have acknowledged it, and don’t seem to care at all. They all have had some sort of hispanic rap music blasting in the neighborhood all morning. Very, very inconsiderate and rude people. I do not recommend.

Day two of neighbor’s work, more roofing garbage thrown over my 6ft fence, these guys are the most inconsiderate and rude as I have ever seen.

I called today to have a downspout installed. I’m a disabled vet who cannot climb up a ladder to install a new 22 foot downspout. The representative called and didn’t want do a “small” job. I get it, but if small businesses don’t take small jobs, what good are they?

Came out to my house for a siding quote. Seemed extremely knowledgeable and I was excited to find out more. Never sent quote. I called a second time to ask if something was wrong. Never received a response. Very surprising considering the meeting. Unprofessional.

I've been using powells for roof repairs for years and have recommended them to freinds and family, they will always do thier best to make the repair if it's possible.

Got a call back within 30 minutes to schedule the estimate, and in addition, Gary, the owner, showed up during the promised time period. Showed total professionalism during all phases of talking with him or his company.

Quality of new roof and attention to details was top notch. They did everything by the book and quickly fixed one issue that I brought up. Would use them again. Love the shiny copper flashing!

A big shout out to the crew at Powell's, especially Alex and Ariel. They were here for a partial roof replacement, but additional damage was found, and the job turned out to be more complex than anticipated. They quickly diagnosed the issues and came up with a solution to fix. Everything was done quickly and professionally.

I was very happy with Powell’s as they replaced my vinyl shutters. They were cost competitive, quickly responded to my inquiries, and were very neat during the job. I’d recommend them for sure.

Very honest and prompt. I had several leaks in my roof, after a brand new roof was put in. I had several quotes all of them telling me I needed to replace the new roof. Gary (Powell's Roofing) told me where the leaks were and fixed only that area for a much lower price than I had been quoted.

We had this company clean our gutters and install a vent on our roof for a bathroom fan. Although the vent installation appears to be without issue, the same cannot be said for the gutters. They damaged the gutter by resting the ladder on it and we still have a plugged down spout. I’ve contacted Gary multiple times and he has not returned my calls. I won’t be using this company again and I would not recommend them.

In response to your post:

I called you multiple times. You answered once and told me to call the office, which I did. You did not follow up to repair the damage you did nor did you come back out to unplug the downspout - which was never properly cleaned in the first place. The time it took you to post a response could have been spent by addressing the poor service provided. Bottom line here is we won’t be using your company again nor will we recommend you - and I hope others read this and think twice.

A rapid response to a roof leak, led to a 2 day tear away shingles, shakes, re-ply and roof with precision and efficacy. My 3rd job given to Gary, and the team is a great one. Always know as well that no micro-inspection is needed because if I ever find anything wrong it is a quick phone call, and rapid response as well. Happy Holidays to the guys.

These folks were excellent. I was actually able to get someone on the phone, first of all, when I first called. I thought that other places weren't returning my phone calls because maybe they thought my job was too small. Customer service explained their process and sent an appointment reminder. The gentlemen who came to assess the repair gave me options and was honest about the work involved. For one area, he gave me advice for a simple fix that I could do myself rather than the complex work that would have been done which wouldn't have solved the problem anyway. When I agreed to the contract by email, they were here in the next hour to start the work and they wrapped up in a couple of hours. They got here so fast, I had to confirm that they were from Powell's, thinking they were just other contractors asking if we needed any work done. Payment was then able to be made online. Great work!
