Water Damage Restoration reviews in Glendora, New Jersey

I called to have an inspection completed and to get a quote on mold removal for my basement. Two representatives came on October 15, completed the inspection, and stated that I'd receive and email including a quote by the end of the week. Long story short, it's nearly two weeks after and I still haven't received any information. I called to inquire about my quote the week following my appointment and was told the email had been sent two days prior. After informing the representative that I did not receive their email, they said they'd send it again and confirmed my email. Again, another week has gone by and I still don't have a quote. I called during regular business hours today to get my information and was told they'd check into it tomorrow because everyone had left the office already. I thought this service was 24hrs. At this point it feels like I gave a free tour of my basement to some strangers.

The folks at ServPro were incredibly responsive to my inquiry relating to a partial flood in the basement of our rental property. Dave and Fred were prompt, informative and incredibly professional. I would and will highly recommend this team any day!

I was one of the many Texans impacted by the worst winter storm in my 30 years living in the state. No electricity lead to burst pipes at the attic placed water heater. My insurance company recommended ServePro. I found a local franchise - they unfortunately were of no help. Then another local franchise put me on the Storm Response List. I was pleasantly surprised when Mary reached out to me to let me know that a team would be paying me a visit. Along came Jason and Mike - what an awesome job they did cleaning up the wet insulation, removing the damaged sheetrock, and placing fans in the house to expedite the drying! I cannot say enough about their professionalism and customer service! Thank you for bringing some comfort to a stressful and smelly mess! Given the need, I would use the same team again!

Awesome company! My parents went to Florida for a long vacation. I was collecting their mail every couple days. I didn't go into the house much because they have timers on the lights, etc. Two weeks after they left, I went into the house to drop off a package. The minute I walked in, I was hit with a horrific odor. I discovered that it was coming from the refrigerator. They had forgotten to clean out the fridge and fruit and vegetables had rotted. The smell was totally unbelievable. I had two masks on and it was still overbearing. I unplugged the fridge and emptied it out and cleaned it with bleach. The smell was still awful. I called Servpro and they sent out Josh the next day. He arrived on time; so unusual these days. He was polite, courteous and very knowledgeable. It was tough to get rid of the odor but he just kept coming up with suggestions. He finally got the smell completely gone. I plugged the refrigerator in and went back the next day. The smell had returned!! We finally figured out that the refrigerator wasn't getting cool and the odor had actually penetrated into the rubber and plastic of it. We had to take it outside to dispose of it. I called Servpro and they sent Josh out again with the "air scrubber" machine. In just a day the smell was completely gone. I can't say enough good things about this company. The job took about 10 days to complete. I was expecting a huge bill, but Dave the owner gave me a tremendous discount. I highly recommend them, they did an incredible job.

We were affected by the winter storms in Texas in February. I called my insurance who suggested we use Servpro to help with water mediation. I attempted to call two times and was called back after leaving message. I was told it would be two weeks before anything could be done. I figured that after two weeks mold was sure to grow in my house. I ended up finding a contractor that said he would love to work on the house and could probably attempt to help with some of the mediation. He put out a fan and we had our personal fans going. He actually took down some of the walls and part of the ceiling in an attempt to help with it. Which I was told by the insurance that was very helpful but Servpro would take care of the rest including putting a tarp up. Servpro eventually came out 3 weeks later and put up more fans and dehumidifiers. My husband was there and quickly mentioned something about a tarp but was told it would be done when the fans were removed.

The equipment was in for a few days and they came to remove the items but never put up a tarp. I even asked our contractor if that seemed normal and he said no. The contractor said he could put up a tarp, even though it should have been done, but has been super busy due to multiple jobs at the moment.

I received an email about rating Servpro and quickly replied and mentioned that I would like to review but feel the job was left undone. I got a phone call the next day and was told my construction crew should have done it which was not True. The job was left incomplete them. I received a call from the owner today who verbatim said “what do you want me to do about it they are already back in New Jersey?” I would have taken an apology and called it a day but that was very unprofessional in my opinion. I would have moved on Without a review but now I’m here writing this. If you had no intention of helping or finding a solution why call me on I my only day off.

AWESOME service when my family was in need. We came home to a flooded basement on July 4th weekend. First called another company and it was clear they didn’t want to come out that night. Hung up and called ServPro and someone was here within the hour. They worked late to remove the water damage and communicated with us throughout the process. Technicians were extremely professional and even helped as a liaison between us and our insurance co. They didn’t leave until then knew the job was done. Would highly recommend.

We reached out to Servpro to complete a remediation job due to our HVAC unit flooding. They responded very quickly and sent Josh out for an estimate. Servpro came out to investigate a mold issue. They located the leak, removed all of the moldy drywall, performed a mold remediation treatment, and replaced the damaged areas with new drywall. Exceptional service! They explained everything to me step by step, were extremely professional, and did a phenomenal job! It looks BETTER than if it never even happened! We had an emergency water leak in our basement that had us really concerned! Once the leak was stopped, Dave and his crew responded quickly to help remediate the damage and begin the drying process.

I had a flood in my basement about a month ago, after speaking with the insurance company I called servpro of blackwood. After speaking on the phone with Dave on a Saturday evening, I had guys ready to work in my home in about an hour. They were so quick with the work they did and very thorough. They made sure to check every part and be sure there was no water in any other parts of my home. The whole team made the process so much easier! Would definitely recommend to my closest friends and family!

I hired CPR after a pipe burst flooded my entire main level. My experience with this company has been nothing short of unacceptable and has caused immense stress and hardship.
On two separate days, CPR left contractor bags full of debris sitting in my front yard, directly on snow. The first time they left about 10 bags. I immediately contacted them and clearly explained that my homeowners association does not allow construction debris to sit outside. Despite this, the next day they left an additional 33 bags. This created disputes with my neighbors and unnecessary stress during an already traumatic situation.
The remediation itself remains incomplete. My entire main living area to includ the living room, dining room, kitchen, kitchen eating area, hallway, foyer and laundry room has been left in a state of disrepair. Most of the hardwood flooring remains in place in the living room, CPR only tore up a few square feet and removed the top layer in multiple areas, leaving the bottom of the hardwood glued directly to concrete. I have been left living in sub-zero temperatures with exposed concrete, open air, no insulation, and incomplete walls, while mold continues to grow in areas that were supposedly remediated.
Multiple promises were made that someone would call to schedule completion of the work, yet no followthrough has occurred. Calls and messages have gone unanswered.
This level of unprofessionalism is dangerous, stressful, and completely unacceptable. I strongly caution anyone considering CPR to ask detailed questions about project oversight, debris removal policies, timelines for completion, and communication accountability before hiring them. I'm sure there are many more reliable and trustworthy companies available to do the work in a professional manner and complete the work in full. I have been waiting for them to complete this job for over 30 days at this point. And here I sit! Sub-Zero temperatures have caused my utilities to go through the roof because open air is coming in from outside while I wait!!
