They listened while I explained what had happened, ran a series of tests, and located a burned-out capacitor within fifteen minutes. After confirming the price with me, they swapped the part and had the blower running cold air before they packed up their tools. What impressed me most was the conversation afterward. Because the condenser is pushing fifteen years, I asked whether it made sense to replace the whole unit. Rather than steering me toward a sale, they laid out expected lifespans, energy-efficiency gains, and current rebate programs so I could decide on my own timeline. For now the repair is working perfectly, and the cost was exactly what the dispatcher quoted. Based on this experience, Alpine will be my first call whenever the system acts up again.
