Had my boiler go out. I had a quote from a national company to fix for 1500 dollars or replace for 16,500. Called Competitive and 150 dollars and under two hours later I was up and running. When I do replace the boiler, I know who I’m calling.

With the reviews and recent recommendation I'm very disappointed in how my experience turned out.
Yesterday mid day we had an issue with our ac unit. A good friend of ours referred them when I told them my situation so I called. Being they were a slight distance I asked if they serviced my area and wirh confidence they said "absolutely" the first woman took my information and said someone would call me immediately.
Not soon after Mike gave me a call asked a few questions he said no problem i know whats going on I should be in and out but being the situation I won't be able to touch it until tomorrow morning. Completely understandable and we accepted the small wait and had no problem paying the extra $$ because of it being weekend hours. Just in time as today was in record highs.
So I call Mike in morning as I would no answer. Left a voicemail and text just letting him know we were ready. 4 hours past its now noon still no answer. I call the service number they said we will contact him asap.
3 minutes later Mike calls me letting me know he's getting ready to head over just needs the address I said not a problem I'll text it to you now. Send address, he replied almost an hour later telling me he can't come because they don't service my area. Kind of confusing as my first phone call was told no problem and was told notes would be left of our conversation and details. I texted him back asking him to please double check because we were told it was more than okay
20 minutes later no reply
Call back the service number and an older woman said she knows nothing of the situation and all she does is answer calls and takes notes and she's not able to assist in any other way.
Needless to say this happened around noon it is now 10pm at night and never heard from them again. Not sure how my business got pushed aside but wasn't expecting this kind of service from what seemed like a positive business

I have used this company for many years for business and my own home. Top notch professionals. They always call back and always on time. I recommend them to EVERYONE!!!!!

Today was the 3rd time I've used Competitive Heating & Air Conditioning for 3 separate homes. My first was an entire HVAC installation and removal of an oil tank in the basement of an investment home. Competitive not only completed the job in 1 day, but there was absolutely no sign of the former tank. Very efficient, clean and at an affordable price. I will soon replace an air conditioning system in my current home and will absolutely give my business to Competitive. p.s. Thank you, Mark!

Other companies could not figure out why my Weil McClain boiler was not working properly. It kept shutting off. Competitive did! Faulty valves. (System is only ten years old.) The water had been scalding hot for so long the "buddy tank was damaged and had to be replaced". They did all the work in one day. Responsive, polite, neat and respectful. The boss even showed up! I will definitely be calling them before I flip on the central air in the spring.

Scheduled an appointment to have my geothermal system repaired. Was very specific when scheduling that it was a geothermal system. The technician arrived and as soon as I told him it was geothermal system, he said that he didn't work on them, called the office and said we won't work on it. I wasted the day waiting for them, and they did nothing. That conversation could have happened 6 hours earlier! VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!

Our heating system went out on us right before the holiday and we called Competitive Heating & Air. They quickly came to our rescue, thoroughly did an analysis of our system and offered the best service. The old heating system was replaced with a brand new one for a reasonable price. They even worked with us on a payment plan that fits our budget. My family is extremely grateful for the owners and great group of employees at Competitive Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. I can't say thank you enough, you guys are truly the best.

Shout out to Chris with competative. He came out today on a Sunday and fixed my AC lickety split. Didn't overcharge me and I felt he did what did he needed to do without trying to upsell me. He was super friendly and really knew what he was doing. I won't hesitate to use them in the future.

Unbelievably good experience. My 23 year old York AC was tripping the breaker. Called two contractors prior to Competitive.Both contractors said I needed a new system without so much as using an amp meter or pressure gauge. Its 23 years old - you need a whole new system. Competitive did a thorough diagnostic check and said my system was fine and all I needed was a time delay for compressor start. Solved problem and saved me 8 to 12K for a new system. Total charge was $160.00. Competitive is one of the last HVAC contractors that actually tries to repair what you have - most get out of their van with the idea of selling you a new system. Total satisfaction.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They showed up on time (a bit early, really) and had everything taken care of in less than 20 minutes. I’ll call them again the next time I need any AC expertise.

The tech was on time. knowledgeable and diagnosis of my heater was quick. They didn't have the part. But he went out of his way to pick up the part Had my heater fixed the same day. Very happy with there service.

Competitive has always done excellent work for me. Although they had problems with my 100 year old heating pipes, they did not give up until the job was done. Polite and professional and very fair prices.

First of all the people were all very responsive to my emails. It's hard to me to make calls during the day so they were very helpful. The price was fantastic! Devin and Dillan were absolutely so professional. They did a fantastic job. Very polite and professional. My new furnace is up and running. We've never been able to feel air come out of the vents like this. Super impressed. And they filed the permit paperwork! Great job all around!

Heat stopped working and called Competitive at 630AM. Got a call at 830 to schedule the appointment window. Got another call when the guys were 10 minutes away. Heat was back up and running by 3PM. The 2 guys that came out knew what they were doing and were having fun while doing it. Highly recommend!

Was recommended this company by my father-in-law. They were quick to come out and diagnose my furnace issues. They didn’t have the part needed, but it was ordered and ready in two days, and the tech came out to install it earlier than expected during the day. I love that you get a text when your tech is on the way, and that Jackie calls as well to clear everything with you. I’d recommend them for sure, as their price was reasonable. I guess that’s why they are called “Competitive”.

These guys are great! Quick response, honest evaluation, pleasant office staff. Fixed our old ac unit instead of trying to sell us a new one. Previously (years ago) they replaced our furnace for $3k the same day that a different company gave us an estimate of $11k telling us that our ac unit needed to be replaced at the same time as the furnace.

My 10yr old furnace/AC has nothing but issues, every year a tech call, After several other companies “fixed” my system only to fail again and get a bunch of BS.

Competitive Heating & A/C inc. are awesome! At the beginning of this heat wave our Fujitsu A/C died. We called 8:15 in the morning, and their technician Blake was here four hours later. The office personnel - Emily and Jackie - were courteous and kept us informed on the progress as we waited for parts. Blake and Chris are Fujitsu wizards! Blake was spot-on with the diagnosis, and he and Chris made the repairs and parts installations expeditiously. They were not only professional, but very courteous and were careful to leave the work area spotless. I would not hesitate to call Competitive Heating and A/C again, and I can highly recommend them!

My AC stopped working after two blackouts from recent storms. I called Competitive and their technician, Blake, literally came out in 10 minutes. He found a faulty electrical part. The part was inexpensive and only took a little bit of time before the AC started working again! I am so thankful for honest service! Many other companies take advantage of homeowners but I trust Competitive to get the job done at a great price and with an honest disposition. Thank you, Competitive :)
