Reviews of local pros in Hammonton, New Jersey

They did a great job taking my tree down and the clean up was like no one was even there!!!

I got 7 large trees removed, some were double trees, all of which were very close to my home. Captain’s did an excellent job removing everything despite the difficulty of the removal. They also grinded 4 of my stumps and came in at the lowest price among 4 other estimates from other local companies.

I have used Captain’s Tree Service to remove several trees on my property. They have always been very responsive, professional and have been reasonably priced. Their crew of workers are top notch. They always do a great job cleaning up. I would highly recommend for any tree services you may need.

I would definitely recommend this tree service company to anyone in need! They gave me a fair quote and followed through as planned. The team arrived on time and very well equipped. They were professional, courteous, and did an awesome job, including the clean up. Thanks Captains Tree Services!

From my initial call, they came out quickly to give me an estimate which I found reasonable. The work was scheduled, and they showed up on time and were very efficient and did exactly what I asked. They did a great job cleaning up as well. Would highly recommend!

I just want to thank you for your services. Your crew did an outstanding job. The crew chief was professional and knew exactly what to do. The tree looks great. They cleaned up like they were never here. Thank you again!!! Highly recommended

The guys came on time and were so professional. I was so impressed on how well the team worked with each other. They cleaned up all the leaves and branches. My project was a big one and they left it looking immaculate. I would definitely recommend Captains!! I am so happy.

Captain’s tree service is legit the best! They performed a lot of work for a fair price (and i had several quotes prior)! The team was friendly, efficient, mindful of out property and did a phenomenal job with our tree removal and elevation needs! Will definitely be calling them in the future for more removal needs

Had a large firewood delivery. Price very reasonable. Great communication and timely delivery. Some years ago we had Captains remove 2 large trees between my mother's house and the neighbors. It was a tight space to work within. It was quite impressive to watch. They made it look easy. Very professional, cleaned up everything including the sawdust on the roof. Nice job. Will definitely use again and give referrals.

I have had an extremely fabulous experience with Captains Tree Service LLC! From the planning phase/estimate to the actual work being completed. Each staff member executed their job with the highest levels of professionalism. I would highly recommend Captains Tree Service LLC for all phases of tree services. Full five star rating!!!

Captain’s recently removed a very large and very tall tree from my sister’s home in Camden, NJ and did an absolutely fantastic job. I called 5 contractors for estimates and Captain’s were the only one to respond. 3 trucks and a very organized and hardworking team. Anna, Mario and everyone were great. Very reasonable price for a very big job. This is the company to hire. Thank you Captain’s!!!

Alonso and the team did an excellent job of helping us with the trees on our property. We have a difficult yard to deal with when it comes to tree removal - there is no access point to our backyard except through our townhome or over our roof. Of all the quotes we received, Captain's seemed the best equipped to handle this task at the best price. They brought in a huge crane and had 2 trees removed and the rest of them trimmed within a couple of hours, leaving the place clean and ready to face the big winds we had this weekend!

Highly recommend!! From start to finish! They expertly removed a very large tree (70 feet) close to neighbors property with care and ease. Their safety practices were spot on! Their price, more than fair and we shopped around. Great job Captains Tree Service!

This was by far the best experience with any outside contractor. They showed excellence in customer service from my very first call, to getting a quick and very fair estimate from Brett, to doing the work just two days later. Brett was always available throughout the entire process. This company is comprised of true professionals throughout. I highly recommend them. Thank you for a job well done!

From the beginning, Captains was professional and extremely easy to work with. They came out right away for a free estimate. We decided to move forward and we couldn’t be happier! We got 9 trees taken down and Mario and his team were impressive! They got the job done in a safe and clean manner! Everyone was professional and 10/10 would recommend this company.

I called Captain’s Tree Service to have 3 trees removed that were posing a hazard on my property as they were either dead or dying. Alonso showed up, and we scheduled to have them done. The work was done 3 days later by a highly motivated, professional crew. I am extremely satisfied by the efficiency and cleanliness of the crew. They took down 3 40+ feet tall trees in 4 hours, cleaned up and left the property as if they were never there, Outstanding work. I will hire them again. Thank you Alonso and team Captain’s Tree Service. I highly recommend your company👍

Captain’s is the best tree service I’ve ever used. From the onset and throughout the entire experience, they were extremely professional. Phone calls were returned, appointments were kept and the service itself was so efficient and done with great care for my yard. They had all the right equipment and staff to safely and neatly handle the job at my home. I would recommend Captain’s Tree Service to everyone.

I had 6 trees fall due to the recent blizzard of 2026. They gave me a great price & service. Within 2 days they had the trees & stumps removed and the cleanup was excellent. Would highly recommend!
