Chris did a great job saving our large maple tree. He clearly is an expert on tree health. He pruned and sealed our tree and now it looks much better. He also came in under budget which rarely happens anymore. An honest business man. We highly recommend him.

United Tree Specialists are the ones to call. We had a large dead white pine in a dangerous location on our property that needed to be taken down before it fell down. Chris came out to look at the job and immediately we saw that he knows what he’s talking about. Given the size of the pine tree, some other pruning work and the weather…the job took 3 visits to finish. Chris and his 2-man crew showed up when they said they would and they cleaned up so well at the end of each day you’d never know we were having tree work done (check out the pics). I was able to mow the lawn without ANY raking/blowing on my part. We’ll definitely have Chris back for future work.

Chris and his team are truly tree experts. Extremely knowledgeable, professional, and take great care in their work. We had them prune, shape, and seal a few of our trees, a couple which had been done incorrectly by landscapers previously and had limbs which were dying. They look as good as new now - Chris even went as far as showing us how to properly maintain the trees in the future. So I have this massive tree on my property that grows right above a portion of my house which we initially (and sadly) thought we had to remove because we were nervous about branches and other tree debris hitting our roof. We contacted a few tree removal specialists who were going to charge us exuberant prices for the removal. We then reached out to Chris from U.T.S to get a quote from him. He came over and checked out our tree and laid down some serious tree knowledge on us and to our delight told us the tree could be saved and not only saved but trimmed and healed so that we didn't have to have it removed. He took his time and thoroughly explained everything from tree health to tree preservation and we were honestly thrilled that we didn't have to take down the tree (we didn't want to but thought we HAD to because a different tree company rep concluded that the tree was dying which Chris quicky pointed out wasn't factual whatsoever and proved it and I'll circle back to how shortly). So we decided to work with Chris and hired him to trim, seal and restore some damaged portions of the tree. He arrived promptly and on time and he and his son got right to work. They worked with great care, were intentional with what they did and kept things clean and organized. From removing branches that hung over my house to sealing portions of damaged wood and bark to the clean up, it all went smoothly and efficiently. As mentioned before he showed me portions of the tree he did trim and showed me how healthy the wood was and that the tree was not "dying" or was a danger to my home. All in all im so happy I decided to go with United tree specialists because they were on time, did the work quickly, they were both personable and professional, and most importantly honest and transparent with his opinion and pricing. The fact that I was told my tree was pretty much dead and would need to be taken down just to find out (with proof) that my tree was actually healthy and strong and just needed some help speaks volumes to Chris's character and honesty where he could've told me it had to be taken down and made more money by doing so. He's been in the business for over 30 years and you can tell he truly has a genuine passion for working with trees and is actually writing a book based on his deep knowledge of tree care. Do yourself a favor if you need any work done on your tree, call United Tree Specialists and speak to Chris. He was an absolute joy to work with and I'm so glad I did, and I'm pretty sure if my tree could talk, it would also be thankful that it didn't need to be taken down lol. We had Chris, Chris and Patrick here for 2 days. We had a dead ash and some smaller crab apple trees that needed to come down. We also had a small japanese maple and few larger maples and zelkovas that needing cleaning up. All work was completed as requested. The area was cleared up nicely upon completion as well. I would 100% recommend Chris and company with no reservations. UTS is now the only tree company I plan to use. We have tried a few over the years and found they weren’t great about honoring scheduled dates, following up on calls, didn’t always clean up well and had to be followed up with to get all the promised work completed. Not these guys. Chris is very thorough on the walk through and write up. These guys were a pleasure to do business with.
