I had my panel upgraded from a 100 amp to a 200 amp service. Dan made sure to bring my older home up to code so when I go to resell I won't have any issues. I'm happy with the quality of service and efficiency.

Daniel and his team were excellent workers and I could not be happier as a business owner with the work they did in upgrading the interior and exterior lighting of my Deli located in Pompton Lakes. They promptly replaced all of the interior lighting with new ceiling LEDs in the kitchen and seating area and were readily available for any questions I had during the process. They also installed new exterior LED lights for the large lightbox signs located in front of the Deli facing the road. I was nothing but impressed by their proficiency and final overall work. His estimate was spot on and his prices were more than fair for the excellent work he provided. I am DEF CALLING Sterz Electric any time the Deli needs any more electrical upgrades or repairs. I had a chandelier, recessed lighting, and new smart switches installed. Also upgraded some old outlets to modern grounded outlets. Also prepped an area before I had a wall removed. My wood flooring was recently refinished and Dan took a lot of care in not scratching it. He even took his shoes off so he didn't track drywall dust everywhere. Also used drop cloths and you could tell he was gentle moving his ladder around. Definitely can tell this was an experienced electrician that cared. Because of where I wanted to recessed lighting he had to open some drywall up to run wire but only made a few tiny holes - I could see someone less careful really making a mess. I definitely recommend....

Daniel was a tremendous help during my move. I had light fixtures to remove from my old house and install in my new house. He was also an invaluable help moving into my new home. There were closets he installed shelves in. Also, the previous electrician had light switches that appeared to not operate anything. Daniel explained that the switches operated plug outlets. He is also a neat worker - cleaning up after the job. He has a pleasant personality and is easy to work with.

We highly recommend Sterz Electric. We made a call 8am Monday morning and we had a team at our house by 9:30am. Within two hours power was restored in our home. The professionalism and constant communication from Daniel and the guys working in our home made the entire process easy from start to finish. A representative from this Sterz Electric came to my home to identify and fix an electrical issue with my outdoor patio area. I reached out to them based on a reference from a friend after having a different electric company come and provide an insufficient answer to my issue. The first company that came out (not Sterz Electric) told me that I would need to dig up the conduit between the house and the outdoor area in order to replace some part of the wire. This did not make sense to me, knowing that it is extremely rare for a wire that is fed through PVC underground to run into an issue without some sort of outdoor work going on, which was not the case. The representative from Sterz Electric agreed that they do not believe that issue was the problem and after doing more investigation and testing a various spots on the line, they found a box that had a short circuit in it outdoor, which was the issue. They simply replaced the outlet in the wiring at the end of the outlet and that resolved my issue without any digging or replacing of the conduit as the first company tried to tell me. I was very pleased with the professionalism, the pricing, and the quality of work that Sterz Electric delivered.

Daniel and his crew are phenomenal! They're friendly, will give you good quality work for very fair prices! I wish I had found these guys Much sooner..we brought them in for part of our bathroom remodeling as well as upgrading our fuse box to a more modern subpanel, we are for sure looking forward to bringing them in for our future projects!
