I had a great experience with RA Nichols Plumbing when I called about a backed-up sewer line at my home. They were able to fit me into their schedule that same morning, and the receptionist was incredibly helpful and kind. Jeremy, the technician, was professional, thorough, and worked with me to explore every low-cost option to clear the clog before recommending more involved solutions. When it became clear the issue was with an old house trap likely causing the recurring backups, Jeremy clearly explained the problem and the next steps.

The team provided a quote, and when I had concerns about potential costs due to unknowns behind the wall, I reached out to management. I really appreciated that they took the time to walk me through the quote and ease my concerns. The final cost was adjusted based on the actual work done, and there were no surprises.

The honesty and professionalism from the entire RA Nichols team—from the owner to the tech—stood out. I’m happy to have formed a relationship with this local business and will definitely continue to use their services in the future. Excellent 5-star experience all around!

I didn’t think I stood a chance of getting my air conditioning issue resolved on a Friday night at 4:30. Thankfully I was wrong. The call was answered by a pleasant service desk rep. She made the process of making an informed decision painless.

The tech showed up was courteous and knowledgeable. The truck was stocked with the part I needed and by 6 pm the house was cooled down.

Arrived on time. Evaluated what needed to be done. Did the condenser cleaning job very well .Explained how mulch was getting into the fin and unit. In the photo the paper towels are from the tech cleaning the unit. I live in a HOA, so the tech made recommendations on how to care for the condenser in the future especially given the HOA not the homeowner hires the landscaping company and apparently the landscape crew was throwing mulch over the unit to get mulch behind the unit.

Also had an urgent need to replace a 23 year old intake water valve that decided to go bad. The office dispatched a plumber and an hour later the bad valve was replaced and our water was back on. Much like the service tech who cleaned inside the AC condenser unit, the plumber was friendly, skilled, and offered recommendations. Thank you!!!

Later on used the same plumber to install 3 toilets as well as the water valves for those Toilets plus the other main water intake valve. Thank you for your help and service.

In addition had a new hot water installed to replace the 12 year old heater.

And replaced the 2 water spigets, one outdoor, one indoor.

Most recently noticed a very small section of the main water intake valve was swearing causing a very minor leak and puddle. Using the same plumber again had the 23 year old coupling valve replaced. The total cost of all these jobs waa about $6000, not inexpensive but necessary maintenance. You get peace of mind knowing your plumbing is functioning ptopeely and well.

Extremely happy with the work done! The individual was friendly and got the job done quickly. We did not expect same-day service, but it was done in only about half an hour! The price was also much better than we expected. We look forward to working with this company again.

The individuals (Ron Jr I believe? and someone else) were very friendly and knowledgeable, and willing to help answer questions about the work needed and options available.

I was also welcomed to watch the process when it happens, and that excites me as someone interested in construction, demolition, and HVAC.

The explanation for the plans being made were very clear and concise and instill confidence that the job I want will be done satisfactorily.

RA Nichols always does a great job and is our 1st call when we have plumbing issues. Most recently we had Jeremy come to our house to replace pipes under the kitchen sink. He arrived on time, was knowledge and friendly, and fixed the sink quickly. Highly recommend RA Nichols.

Annual plumbing inspection. Free of charge. Very thorough inspection, took photos and explained potential issues. Provided estimates as requested.

Mike came out to check an issue I was having with a couple of rooms in my house being hotter than the rest. He was very thorough, and checked all possible causes. In addition, he was very professional and personable. I will definitely be using RA. Nichols to finish this job, as well as for any future issues!

This company has done extensive work for us several times and each time there work is fantastic. They are also excellent at keeping an open communication before, during and after each job. Had a great experience today with RA Nichols. Brian was courteous , respectful and knowledgeable during our plumbing inspection. He took care of the issues identified and cleaned everything up when the job was done.

I had several estimates and R.A.Nichols was the most reasonable. It was 5 months from the time of the original estimate before I was able to proceed with the job. This company honored the original estimate. How refreshing that is. Jake and his associate Taylor were on time and ready to work. They encountered some obstacles, but went the extra mile to complete the job to theirs and my satisfaction. I highly recommend this company and their employees for all your plumbing needs. I am a very happy client!

Jake and his crew were fabulous. Efficient, courteous, considerate of the home and all done in one day. I was kept informed at every turn. Cleaned up was immaculate. All main pipes replaced. Couldn't ask for more.

Our water heater pilot light went out. Called the company that installed it, they sent out 2 plumbers ahhh they said we can't do it!!!! To tight gotta move washer and dryer whaaaaaa! The owner called me and said I should hire a handyman to move appliances that were in the way and then either call them back to light it or call PSE & G. Hmmm. Called my neighbor he referred RA Nichols Home Services. I called and they sent a great young man out he lit it without a problem and left. RA Nichols Home Services an absolute great company!

RA Nichols and crew were extremely professional, took the time to figure out a complicated plumbing issue and present a timely and cost-effective solution. Additionally, I asked for a minor adjustment and they did the work for me free of charge. A wonderful crew I would recommend and use again.

Brian installed a new kitchen faucet and changed older valves under sink and did a wonderful job. He was efficient, neat and very professional. Great experience.
