Reviews of local pros in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey

Spectacular is the first word that I think of when I'm in our newly designed home! One meeting with Gus and Laney and we knew this was the right Architectural firm for us. Gus has an amazing gift of reimagining a living space, and after a couple of meetings, he was very clear on the challenges within our home and desires for a new space. His design is functional and yet has a 'WOW' element when looking at the old and new footprint with vaulted ceilings and natural lighting that fills the rooms. His eye for detail and design along with his kind, professional partnership gave us the confidence to know we selected the best! My husband and I are extremely grateful to have worked with Gus, Laney and the entire staff at Morpurgo Architects.

Renovating a new home is very exciting yet hectic at the same time. Choosing the right architect is extremely crucial in the execution of renovating your home. I was lucky to connect with Morpurgo Architects. At first, we started with a small project that Morpurgo didn’t’ mind tackling. When things shifted, we decided to renovate the entire house and Morpurgo Architects were flexible and supported our vision from start to finish. Communication and response time is excellent. Gus is a well experienced architect who puts the needs of his clients first and fully understands the details of every phase. Gus, Laney and Umberto are great at following up to guarantee our satisfaction and the finishing of the project.

Morpurgo did an amazing job with our addition and Pool house. They surpassed our expectations with the entire design. They were extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Gus and team not only provided input and recommendations, but as the projects progressed, they were available for questions and suggestions to help our general contractor thru the construction phase. They truly brought the vision to life. We highly recommend their services.

My wife and I have a small home renovation company and this was the first time we worked with Morpurgo Architects, and we couldn’t have been happier working with Gus, Laney, and the entire team! They have great ideas and great passion for what they do. They’re also all just super sweet and go above and beyond for their clients. Now we recommend them to anyone that’s considering a project on their home.

When we decided to renovate our home, we wanted to keep the charm of our house while also modernizing and enlarging the structure. A Google search brought us to the website of Morpurgo Architects where it was clear that they specialize in the renovation of older historical homes.

Gus Morpurgo and his wife Laney met with us at our home to discuss our ideas and desired outcomes of the project. They are such a kind couple that we hit it off immediately. We had originally intended to meet with several architects, but after the meeting, we knew they were the right choice.

When Gus returned preliminary architectural drawings of our renovation, it was apparent that he had listened to our desires and incorporated them into his plans. Throughout the entire process, we always felt that Gus listened to and often improved upon our ideas and embellished them with his incredible sense of architectural design.

Our favorite quality of Gus is that he is both a true professional and a wonderful person. He cared not only about the project but also about us and our family. We had so many great moments together including a winning performance before our town's zoning board!

Working with Gus, Laney and the entire team at Morpurgo Architects was a pleasure and we are thrilled with the outcome of our renovation.

Working with Architect Gus at Morpurgo Architects has been an absolute pleasure. His attention to detail is unmatched, every line, texture, and finish is thoughtfully considered and executed with precision. A real architect who combines artistry with Professionalism. He brings a level of creativity that transforms ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences, always finding innovative solutions that elevate the design.

He delivered a high-quality work on time without compromising the integrity of the vision. Highly recommended!

There aren't enough words of praise that can capture the incredible experience I had with Morpurgo Architects. Gus went above and beyond every step of the way. Any problem we had throughout the building process we turned to Gus and he had a solution. He's a true mastermind of architecture and thought of design elements that we didn't even know we needed. He was more than just an architect, he was our person to turn to for everything and was more than willing to help with even the smallest details (picking out light fixtures, meeting the tree removal service to ensure optimal lighting, etc.) Gus has the best connections in the industry and helped us find builders that were the right fit for our job and budget. My dream home only became a reality because of Gus. Truly exquisite taste and top notch service.

Goodness, I don't have enough space to explain how amazing Gus, Laney, and the entire Morpurgo team is! We have recently worked on a beautiful historic home together in Nutley, NJ and their attention to detail exceeded our expectations. Not to mention they are the loveliest couple in the world! Gus took the time to come out to the job and help us with an issue we had after dissecting the framing of the older home we were working on and came up with a great plan moving forward. They both answered our many phone calls and emails throughout the whole build and helped us stay on track of our deadlines even when we added some last minute change orders to their plate! We had the most incredible experience and can't wait to keep working together on some future projects. Thanks to all!

I used window genie for Christmas lights this year on my new home and they have done a wonderful job. My house looks amazing and ready to ring in the holiday season !! Mary was a delight to speak to on the phone and organized everything was even able to sneak me in before December. And since this is my first time professionally lighting my home for Christmas, after quite the search window genie was the best price around. 10/10 would recommend !

They did a great job. I have a house from 1921. One room with really old windows. They carefully cleaned each and every pane. Gently cleaned the outside of my stained glass window. And the new windows in the house are sparkling. They were great.

We had a great experience from Window Genie of NE NJ team. Great customer service and cleaning crew did a meticulous job. I would definitely hire them again and would strong recommend too. Thank You!

Window Genie did a great job cleaning our exterior windows. The scheduling was efficient, the workers arrived on time and were thorough. I would use them again

Very prompt and friendly service
I was able to schedule them without any delay
Thank you for doing such a good job

Never heard of this company before and had researched a few before calling them. From my first call I felt right about this company. I wasn't sure exactly what I needed but Cathy was very patient and sent me multiple quotes, took multiple calls from me, and was very professional and nice to talk with....and this was only a $500 job!
Then after I scheduled I had concerns with being able to meet the time/day, Mary in the office spoke with me and called a couple times and made it work and then made last call to make sure I was good and tech was in route. And then the technician arrived on time and further explained the security film he was installing on windows and door. He did a great job, cleaned up everything, and reviewed what to do and not do. Told me to reach out to them if there was any problems.
I absolutely recommend this company/office and will book other services with them in the near future.

Last year, Jorge was all alone to do a job that is usually done by two people. He was extremely polite, with a positive attitude and did a fabulous job! I highly recommend him and the company!

This year, Mike and Raphael worked together seamlessly to remove the screens, wash them, clean the dirty window sills and then of course, use their special brushes and hoses to clean the windows. They were extremely professional, friendly and hard-working. Even the dirtiest windows sparkle. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company!

Always the best experience with Window Genie. Jorge is the Best! So thorough, so professional and goes above and beyond. My windows are sparkling like a Diamond!

Excellent service from Window Genie for my Christmas Lighting installation. This is my second year with the service and I cant say enough about them. From the office staff to the actual installers, everyone is top shelf. Mike was my installer this year and he was awesome. He does excellent work. Extremely professional, courteous, neat and organized. Mike makes certain that all of the wires are flat and tight. Looks great. Thank you to the entire Window Genie staff that supports my needs. Appreciate you!!

Juan and José showed up on time, introduced themselves and had a very friendly manner. They did an excellent job and were very respectful of our home. They did a great job on the windows, cleaned up after themselves and put everything back in its place. I couldn’t be more pleased! Definitely would use these guys again!

What an amazing experience! this is a full service company that not only does windows, but does a fantastic job on performing a soft and power wash combination on the siding.
From the start dealing with Cathy and Mary in getting a quote to actually having the crew come to do the work, was seamless. They kept me in the loop and followed up to ensure that everything would be done correctly as well as the time they would show up to work.
Jose and Juan showed up right on time and knew exactly what to do. What a professional operation. They explained what they were going to do and after performing the work on different areas, Jose stopped to ask me how it looked and if everything was being done to my satisfaction.
The company and it's employees exceeded by expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to my friends.
Thanks

The Window Genie team was prompt, professional, and courteous. They worked hard, were friendly, and did an excellent job cleaning my windows.
