General Contractor reviews in Hoboken, New Jersey

Excellent contractor with great attention to detail and professionalism. The project was completed on time, communication was smooth, and the workmanship exceeded expectations. Reliable, honest, and easy to work with. Highly recommended!

Professional and dependable contractor who delivers quality work. The renovation was completed efficiently with great attention to detail. Communication was clear, and they stayed within budget and timeline. Very satisfied with the final result.

Very happy with their work

Really great team. Top notch work. Fair price. Thank you!

Top quality work, very prompt, great communication during the project, professional and good follow through. Would certainly recommend and use again for another project.

Hired them to fix a leak. They charged a high price to partially fix it, then close the wall up. Had to pay another contractor to fix their mess. They also came off as very disorganized.

Hoboken General Contractor has excellent customer service! They were very friendly and were able to answer all of the questions that I had. I am extremely satisfied with my experience!

I worked with a number of contractors while I was redoing my kitchen. They had the easiest job of any of them, and they were by far the worst. Late, dishonest, poor quality work.

Ves called me right after I asked for a estimate through his website. He gave a general estimate over the phone, and came to the house to give a solid quote. Within a week we had a carpenter and a painter out to do crown moldong and paintong in our first floor. They took pride in their work and got everything done on schedule. I would definately consider using them again if I were to need future work done.

They gave me a quote. I agreed and asked them when they can start. Their response was "find someone else, the person doing permits is out of office and won't be back for a few weeks." When I asked them when she would be back, they said they did not know. I would not even bother get a quote from them unless you want to chase after them for weeks only to be told that they will not do the job. Waste of time.

We needed to freshen up our new condo before moving in. After doing some research and getting bids from a few other local guys we went with HGC. They were in and out, getting the walls and ceilings painted and floor refinished over a long weekend. Super happy with their work and price... and the new place. :-)

Ves and his team at Hoboken General Contractor were great!! They were very responsive to our requests and did a quality job in a tight time window. We will definitely work with Hoboken General Contractor again!!

I also left review on yelp with pictures. Go check it for more information. Also will report to better business bureau

1) We paid in full for our kitchen renovation. They took the money didn't finish the job. Also, they never fixed anything for their sloppy work. I have tried to reach out numerous times but they never returned my phone calls. Again they took the money and disappeared.

2) They charged way more than what they promised ( unexpected materials, extra plumbing work and etc )

3) Work that was supposed to be finished end of June lasted until they disappeared completely in the middle of August

4) They hire so- called parent company Alpha Commercial Services to do all the work but it is impossible to reach out to them. Phone number listed on their invoice is actually for some holistic company

I have now used these guys for several jobs. I first used them after others had failed and they came in and did grade A work on drywall and some plumbing leaks in two areas behind my sink. They fixed the leaks and laid some tile and grouting im my bathroom and sealed the floor underneath my washer and dryer. They did installation of smoke detectors throughout the home and repaired a metal gate that wasn't working right since i move in the home. they weld they pour cement. whatever you need. In short there isn't anything these guys don't do. always great work and very professional. they are the first people i call when i have a job. don't hesitate to use them.

We had a great experience with Hoboken General Contractor. Fair price and excellent work. We were especially happy with Patrick, who went above and beyond in his work. Definitely recommend and will use again if we have work to do!

My bathroom renovations were going all wrong when I hired a friend who said he knew what he was doing and claimed to be an interior designer. I was left with a mess, so I went to Hoboken general contractor , which I found online. They have a team of experts from every area of bathroom renovation and they fixed my mess and transformed it into a brand new looking bathroom that I love!

Flawless communication, quick and reliable! Hired them to install backsplash tiles in kitchen, cannot be happier with the results. Will continue using for future needs!

Ves and his team were professional, prompt and responsive. They always provided top customer service and were available to respond to any questions immediately. They fixed/worked on several items in my apartment (replacing fixtures, fixing drywall, etc) and all areas look great. I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to anyone needing contracting work done in the area!

We knew the bathrooms in our rental unit needed a refresh but were trying to hold off for as long as possible. A bad leak that went into the apartment below gave us the push we needed. I spoke with Vas, and his team went to the apartment the next day to provide an estimate. His estimate was very fair. It included fixing the subfloor and remodeling one bathroom and a remodel of the second bathroom. Most importantly, he was willing to move quickly. We typically have 3 tenents that live in the unit- but had a 4 week period where there were only 2 people. Vas and his team began immediately with the first bathroom (leaving the second for the tenents to use). Everything went very smoothly, no surprises. He met me at the local HomeDepot to pick out tile, fixtures etc. and his team picked up all deliveries (which could have been tricky if they needed to be delivered to the apartment bulding). The first bathroom was completed in 2 weeks and they moved on to the second which was also completed in 2 weeks! His team was on-site everyday working and Vas would stop by multiple times each day to check in. Since we did not live at the property he provided daily updates. I highly recommend Vas for quality honest work. We will definitely be using him for future projects.

Ves and Vasko have been amazing to replace the floor in our Hoboken apartment. He took care of everything including the taking out the HVAC, Water heater to replace the floor. The leak was caused due to a building pipe issue and he resolved it quickly once we signed the contract. He is a gentleman and came out at 8.30 in the evening to help out with the tenants as they locked themselves out.

I thought renovating our kitchen would be a nightmare but Ves and his crew made our dream come true. We had a good feeling from when we first meet Ves, and once hire he continued to make us feel at ease by explaining what we could expect during the renovation. His workers were skilled in their crafts and were all a pleasure to deal with. We're very happy with the finished result and have already recommended the Hoboken General Contractor crew to others. We would definitely call them again for any future home improvements or repairs.
