I have had A Cut Above remove two 60-70' trees and a very tall, thick bush and was very pleased with their work each time. They are quick to respond and much more reasonably priced than other companies. They ground the stumps completely level with the surrounding area and cleanup was fantastic. Bill, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with, and I would highly recommend this company to family, friends and neighbors.

Support your neighborhood businesses! Called Bill this morning about a tree that had some damage due to a beaver overnight. He came out within a half hour and gave me a reasonable quote to take that tree down and grind back some large stumps while they were here. They came back a few hours later with a nice team that made light work of the jobs. Bill’s team was nice, friendly, and efficient. Thanks for a speedy response!

Company was quick and efficient at the cost of damage to the lawn/property. All in all, they removed 3 oak trees, one of which had three trunks and spanned partly over other trees, power lines, and the house itself. For removal of the main trunks, the service opted not to use any type of fall catching device and instead let the cut chunks free fall to the lawn resulting in no less than 20 divots in the surrounding area that range from 3-5 inches below the grade of the lawn. This is undesirable as now when I mow I am at risk of twisting of an ankle at the least. Additionally, the use of the dual track material handling equipment was used to lift and carry the fallen trunks away, but resulted in damaging my railroad tie curb. As well as other railroad ties that line my driveway having damage/becoming misaligned from the other two, smaller, trees removed during the free fall process. The company did spread some dirt out I assume to fill other holes created but was left in big clumps and will surely kill the grass/lawn in the area. Again, not a bad job and decently quick, but upset with the damages and results as it felt some more care could have been given during the process.

Huge shout out to Bill and his crew with Cut Above Tree service. Took down the evergreen in the back of my house. Ground up the stump and removed it all! Even cleaned up the rest of the mound of stump grindings that the last company Including grinding the roots from the tree they took downlast week. Took away all the other branches and limbs that left on the ground that were already cut from the evergreen tree prior to them taking it down. I was very impressed with the professional joband leaving my property better than before. They are definitely being used next job.

A Cut Above did excellent work for a great price cutting down 9 trees (most trees were very large) in my backyard in Jan 2020. The removal, stump grinding, and cleanup look great after 2 full days of work. The owner Bill and his crew are highly recommended.

I called and Bill was over to my house in 15 minutes for a quote. A tree had fallen on my wooden fence and broke it. They came first thing the next say, got the tree out, and then put my fence back together! They were respectful, diligent, and hard working guys! I couldn’t be more happy with the service they offered! They were very reasonable with their price also, I was concerned because this of course happened around Christmas. I would 100% recommend them!!

We had a bunch of trees removed in our backyard. It was a 3 day job. The crew that was out here did an amazing job. They were extremely professional, cleaned up at the end of every day and did a great job with grinding the stumps down.
